The serviceman Chris did a thorough inspection of our garage door, pointing out potential problems specific to the type of door we have. After that, he lubricated all the rollers and pulleys, and made sure that any squeaking was eliminated.

Very professional service, prompt after calling (the Angie's list scheduling tool didn't work, the provider was never contacted that I had bought the tune up deal).

How did it go, you ask.......not very well in my opinion. I highly recommended Champion to my neighbor since I had a great experience about a year ago with them. My neighbor works a lot of crazy hours, so I was the one to be there when the technician arrived about 3pm. The technician was in a bad mood. He looked at the job got his tools and parts then went to work. His mood went from bad to worse. While the work space was tight, he had no regard for the customer's property! I asked a question and then.... the job got more expensive. It went from a new springs job to a "conversion" job. The technician got the additional parts and finished the job without any more damage to the property. I believe the question I asked prevented additional damage. I received no apology for the damage and he never made an attempt to clean the grease off the walls!!!!!! I had printed the coupons off their website BUT the technician would not honor any of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Champion Garage Doors was paid in full at the end of the job and he left about 4:20 pm. PAGE 2 Afterwards, I thought about all that happened with this service call; so I sat down and documented everything for my neighbor. I had two typed pages! After calming down, I called Champion and the owner Rob answered. I wanted Champion to have an opportunity to respond before I posted this review. I explained what happened and he apologized. Rob did say the technician was not feeling well when he was there and is out sick now. Rob said that technician has 17 years experience and needed to talk with him before getting back to me. After a few minutes I felt Rob wanted to rush me off the phone. 04-07-2016 It has been over a week and I have not heard back. NO, I am not calling them. I am the customer, Champion Garage Doors should call me. YES, they dropped the ball and it is time to submit my review. UPDATE 5/16/16: I feel like the company is trying to save face on Angie's List. If he was truly interested in addressing the issues, he would have called either of us, he has bothe our numbers. But instead he called neither. We are still waiting on call.

Chris came on the day scheduled 3/21 and got the old door out and the new door in, but did not finish the job as he needed some parts. The door will not open in its current state. Have been calling since then to find out what is going on. first couple of calls were answered, but since 3/29 the calls went straight to voicemail, and today (4/5) the voicemail is full and accepting no more messages. I hope to be able to update this review soon

I called Champion Garage Door to fix two garage doors at a duplex I own. They diagnosed the problems and fixed one of the doors that day. They were able to replace the entire door and reconnect the opener. They ordered a part for the other door and stated they would call me when it arrived to schedule the installation. The first garage door was completed in a timely and convenient manner. However, I haven't heard from them regarding the second door. I called and spoke with Rob 4 times on the phone. Each time, he took my name and phone number and promised me he would call me back later in the day to schedule the installation. However, I never heard from him. I called him a 5th time (I know this sounds crazy, but I was impressed with the ease of business with the first door and didn't want to go through the hassle of having another round of quotes). This time I left a message and haven't heard back from anybody. Since half of the job was completed seamlessly and the other half has been a struggle, I think a C grade is justified.

Chris did my tune up today. He showed up on time, enthusiast and with a wealth of information. He taught me how to keep my door lubricated and made some adjustments to quiet the door down a bit. Champion installed my door 1-1/2 years ago and I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent. Chris came within the time frame he gave me. He clearly explained what he did and what I will need to do in the future to maintain my door.

Our garage door popped out of place, one of the rollers came off the track. We called Champion based on being a recommended Angie's list company. They were at our house within a couple hours of calling, Chris was even in the middle of dinner and still came out! He found out the problem, replaced the rollers, added lubricant and our garage was better than before within 45 minutes. When we need a new garage door we will definitely be calling these guys back

The overhead door for my business lost two rollers and was not working on a Monday evening. I called them at 7:30 am, they had a repair guy there around 10 am. He had the door back up and working in about a half hour. I won't hesitate to call them again for my biz or home!! Thanks!

I came home Wed night, discovered one of the spring broke. Contact them via Angie's list, they called me back on Wednesday night and said they could come out on Thursday between 11-1. I was out from morning til 2 so I had someone let them in and they completed the work as they advertised. Very professional and I highly recommend this company. I am so impressed they will be coming back to install my single car garage as well in the near future. Thank you Champion Garage Doors!

It went fine - showed up on time, installed new equipment. Showed me what was wrong with the old system.

He was punctual and very professional. Gave much needed input on the issues we were having. Easily fixed the sensor issue within the time (and therefore within the original price). Diagnosed the problem with our track and gave us an estimate of time and cost. Also, he told us that it was not an immediate issue and we could easily wait until it becomes more of a problem if we wanted to wait to fix it. We were quite satisfied.

Went great and will use Champion door again. They were great.

The repair went without a hitch. Aside from the repair, it was as though he wasn't even there. He suggested a couple of other maintenance type items as well.

Two days after my sister bought her new house, the garage door opener stopped working. Being a first time homeowner, she was clueless on how to fix it. I had her call Champion Garage Doors and work with Chris. He came out to her house while she was at work and installed the new opener. Then he called her to explain how it worked and to make sure she didn?t have any questions. He explained the importance of filling out the warranty and things to keep an eye on that might need to be replaced in the future. She is very happy with the service that she received from Chris! He definitely went above and beyond what was expected. Thank you for your help, we will be a returning customers for sure!

Went great. Arrived on time and worked efficiently.

I tried for three weeks to schedule him to come and kept having problems. I finally gave up and canceled the deal. I bought one through another company instead.

Chris was great. A very nice and knowledgeable young man who knew his stuff and was rapid and smart. Very kind and patient with me being older and not very knowledgeable. Thank you Chris, you are a great employee. It is this type of service and care that keeps me coming back to Champion. Only wish that the service call was 50 dollars or something similiar,,,,,
