CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

I had an issue with my garage door that I noticed on a Sunday evening, so I called Champion first thing Monday morning. They have a 24/7 hotline, so I was able to speak someone on the phone even though it was early. Chris, the technician, was able to visit me a couple hours later and attempted a repair. After replacing the sensors and wire, the problem persisted, so he thought the issue was with the electrical in the motor so we needed a full replacement. Chris had more jobs that day and was out of time so he scheduled to come the next day and called me first thing in the morning to let me know the time window in which he arrived. He arrived in the specified window and took him about an hour to replace the motor, sensors, and add an exterior keypad with a new Liftmaster system. Super happy with the quality of the new system (low noise, WIFI capability, keypad). This is the 2nd time I've used Champion, and I will continue to use them because of their fast response time and quality of service.

Chris deserves a medal for his customer service. He dealt with snow drifts and locked doors and sub zero temps. He was cheerful, prompt, came in on time off to do one tiny adjustment. He explained the damage and that replacement was only option. He installed a single double garage uninulated door. That works great. I was at a relatives house so the location of the work was 6109 Kellogg Ave in Edina, MN 55424-1802.

My car was trapped inside my garage. I called Champion and Rob, the owner, came out the next morning (Saturday). He said the gears were stripped in my garage door opener, and he could repair it or replace it. The garage door opener (Craftsman) was at least 15 yrs old, so I choose to replace it. Rob said he could have a tech out Monday morning. Rob showed me how to lift garage door, and I choose to park my car outside until Monday. Chris, the lead technician, called Monday, to let me know he was on his way. He asked if I had any questions. He replaced the garage door opener (Liftmaster), tuned up and lubricated the garage door, showed me how to operate everything, and how to maintain my garage door. Everything was completed in approx. 90 min. Rob and Chris were both very professional. I would definitely recommend them and I will call them again when I need a garage door tune-up.

Fantastic. Won't use anyone else in the future. Technician was professional, punctual, and took the time to show me how to do some future preventative maintenance on my own. Was able to address the sensor issue within a reasonable amount of time.

Great overall service. I called Champion on a Friday morning because a spring on our garage door broke. They not only fit me in that same day, but provided excellent service at a great price. The technician called before showing up, was very polite, and was very efficient. After fixing the springs, he patiently walked me through some maintenance tips which will help the garage door last longer. We will definitely be calling Champion back in the spring to replace the strip at the bottom of the door. I highly recommend this company to others.

Champion rearranged their service schedule and got a technician to us by mid-morning. Chris (technician) said he had never seen something like our problem but he was creative and got it fixed despite the door having a combination of residential and commercial door parts. We were out of the garage before noon.

They did a good job. I will recommend and use them, again.

Chris came out the same day I called, and not only fixed my door but educated me on how to do routine maintenance to help avoid future problems. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Very reasonable cost as well.

Chris the technician stated that also there was a problem with the belt drive opener as well. It was losing power and that we needed to call the company that made the opener which we did. It turned out the motor was under a lifetime warranty and we are being sent a new one.

I had used Rob a year ago and he did a great job at the time. Now I was having additional problems and contacted him - both times he said he would come on a certain day and he never showed or called. Very disappointing.

Chris arrived promptly and was extremely efficient, professional and personable. He recommended replacing rollers and the garage door bottom sealer which I agreed with and he did it quickly and expertly. Great guy, great job, I'll call them again if needed.

I called Champion and Rob immediately answered my call. I told him I wanted to schedule a tune up at the Angies Deal price and he was very friendly and helpful. He scheduled a tune up for the following week. Chris, the garage good technician, arrived promptly at my Minneapolis home on the scheduled date and inspected / tested my garage door and opener. He also lubricated all moving parts. He was extremely informative and instructed me (and my husband) about the operation of the door and provided maintenance details/suggestions to keep the door operating smoothly. I paid Chris the Angies List Deal price, which is a very good deal. I have used Champion Garage Doors services in the past and I will continue to do so in the future.

Champion did not respond to my e-mail or phone call to schedule service ahead of my voucher expiring so I wasted the money spent on the Angie's List deal since the service was never performed. I had purchased the voucher the previous spring and it was expiring in November 2017 so I called and e-mailed Champion but no response received.

I scheduled an appointment. However, nobody showed up. I called and nobody answered the phone. It was a wasted time for me.

Claim a deal $19.99 garage tune up. Provider never reached out to me. I called I called multiple times and left multiple messages. No return calls. These guys must be out of business or just do poor customer service. Otherwise I am not sure why they post looking for customers and then not respond

I talked with Chris on Thursday, and he was at my place on Friday. He fixed the problem quickly. Despite the repair, with a 17-year-old opener, I decided to get a new one installed. He did NOT do a hard sell for a new opener. In fact, he said he usually recommends running them until they die. However, it truly was on its last leg, and I wanted a reliable opener in place before the fall. He was back on Monday and had it done in under an hour. He was very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Champion.

I sent a request through Angie's List on Sunday night, got a response the same night. The next morning- Monday 7-23-18 confirmed an appointment for between 12 and 2. Jeremy arrived by 2 pm and had my working great within 20 minutes! The price was very good at $89.99 less a $20 off coupon on Angie's list. I will definitely use them again for any garage door issues!

After our garage door was hit on a Friday night, I found Champion garage Doors through Angie’s List. They were open until 10pm. My call was answeres by Rob at 8:30pm on Friday evening and he came out to give me an estimate Saturday morning. Pricing was a standard flat rate and we did have them install a new belt garage door opener. I was the one asking for the new garage door opener, as Rob was not trying to upsell. A new garage door was installed Monday morning. Installers Chris and Jeremey were energetic, polite and efficient. I would hire them again for any garage door needs. Its refreshing to have a crew working that seems to really enjoy their work. Payment was collected by credit card or check after the install and review of new opener/garage door general maintenance. The price I listed below was for the new garage door, without the new opener.

I was very, very impressed. Professional, courteous, fast, punctual, knowledgeable, and well-priced. I made it a point to get the service person's card because I will only use them from now on. I am a picky old guy who likes to complain about how service levels get worse every year, but I was totally satisfied in all respects.

I called for service at 3:20pm on Monday, was told that the next available appointment would be Tuesday morning. Then I told him that the door was stuck and would not go up or down. He called back in 5 min to say that Chris was on the way. By 5pm, my door was fixed. That, I would say, is superb responsiveness and service!! So fortunate to have great businesses like these in our neighborhood.

Excellent. Called midday Sunday and made appointment for 9 to 11 am Monday. Tech arrived around 10 am and done was in an hour. Honored Angie's list coupon. Provided maintenance tips. Answered my questions about garage door replacement options. Will definitely call them when I'm ready to replace.

Chris was great. Helped me find the right doors for my needs. Timely, professional work with a positive attitude.
