Description of Work: Tune up the garage door.

Description of Work: They had to replace a whole panel ($300 in all), but they got it working very well again—for as long as it lasted, several months, when it became necessary to replace my entire garage. I didn’t like paying more than special rate, but it was obvious to me as to the them that the door was not working right and under considerable strain because of a break that wasn’t fatal but was under pressure. I thought the price for materials and labor fair, and they were prompt and capable.

Description of Work: I paid $39 for the garage door check. They sprayed some lubricant on the rollers and replaced my metal rollers with plastic ones. It all took about 15 minutes. The total price was way out of line for what they did.

Description of Work: They repaired my garage sweeper, which had fallen off and also tuned the door. They coordinated well with me and were very professional.

Description of Work: I purchased a garage "tune up". When the provider arrived (on time) he determined that the door had issues with the cables that raise and lower the door. The cable had much wear and broken strands and needed to be replaced. The replacement was done and the door is back in good working condition.

Description of Work: My garage door got stuck and Champion was able to immediately come out and get it open for me. It was no surprise to me that I needed a new door and new opener and they were able to order both right away -- nothing fancy. The reason that they are getting a "B" is that I specifically needed a key release in the event of a power outage and that was clearly on the invoice/order (which was done as a carbon copy). When they came to install the door, there was no key release, but I didn't notice it until after they did the installation. I looked at the invoice/order that the installer had, and although it was the same price, it was missing the key release. I was confused, so I compared it to the carbon copy that I had and it didn't match. That is just odd. The good news is that when I called they immediately agreed that I had ordered and paid for a key release, but it took a couple of weeks (and at least one reminder phone call) for them to come back and install it.

Description of Work: Nice guys... Tried to do the upsell and replace rollers and bearings, but it was a lower level door used infrequently. They were OK when I said, no thanks.

The technician was on time, was efficient yet thorough, and took the time to explain what he found and what he had done. We received a quote on additional services and will be moving forward with this company. They were excellent!

Description of Work: Garage door tuneup. Door bottom strip pulled off, difficult to reattach due to length, twisting. He reattached at no charge, excellent service, will use them again, when needed.
