Description of Work: Bought garage door tune-up package. They were able to come out in a couple days. Good communication, arrived on time and went right to work. The tech had an apprentice with him and interacted well with him. Answered all my questions and sold me the roller and door seal replacement as well. Will use them again.

Description of Work: Replaced spring we asked to have coupon work done as well, he declined our coupon, said to get our $ back from Angie & charged $150 for the spring work. We expected to pay for repair separately & use the coupon to also have the maintenance done. We had purchased 2 coupons expecting to have my elderly mom's garage door maintenance too. |When we had to have adjustments to the spring he replaced we called some else. |We'd like a refund on these 2 coupons.

Description of Work: Our garage door got stuck half-way open on a very cold day with snow in the forecast. The door was making terrible noises and was under extreme pressure. I stopped it midway because I was frightened by the terrible sounds it was making. Major metal parts were seriously bent. My car was stuck in the garage. I called a wide variety of garage door repair companies (many offering emergency service), and most wanted me to wait over the weekend for someone to come out (it was only Tuesday). One operator even suggested I go out and try to pull it down myself, which would have been extremely dangerous. |Champion had a service person available the same day. He was able to help me safely get my car out, and then he was able to close the door for us due to the weather. We ordered a new door, and they installed it that Friday. It has performed well for us so far.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's list deal. We knew the garage door was sticking and out of align so had the inspection she offered. Person was very professional, took care of minor problems and made sure the door was level and working properly. I had used Champion before and would use them again.

Description of Work: Check-up of non-working garage door opener showed that the logic card was not working. Replacement would have been c. $175. The door opener was sixteen years old so replacement of the whole was recommended. I agreed to that and am happy with the new opener. I did decline the offer of a belt-driven (no chain) opener for another hundred dollars. Since the garage is not attached to the house, the quieter operatoin was hardly worth it.
