CHAMPION GARAGE DOORS

He put new nylon rollers on and now it is quiet! He recommended that I don't replace the opener until it quits. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need yet. Great Work!

They made immediate contact. Worked with our schedule. Showed up when they said they would and solved the problem.

The tech that showed up spent about 18 minutes on site. I am no garage door expert but I watched as he did a hurried look at the motor, worm gear and drive chain, and then grabbed a can of spray lubricant and did a quick "pssst" over the outside casing at all the hinges locations. I asked if that was the proper way to lube the hinges and he said that was the way to do them. I asked if the spray should be directed into the hinge rotation point and he said what he did as all you had to do. He never did remove the cover and check the condition of the nylon drive gear or grease it up. He never checked the roller condition or checked for the proper pressure on the automatic door reversal. I do a better job of checking the operation and condition of the system when I go over it in the spring and the fall. Maybe I expected more from a professional than a quick in and out. I will say he talked a good job and explained what the parts were and what part they played in the overall operation.

I was completely happy with the service. Chris, the repairman from Champion, also noticed that our weather strip on the bottom of the door needed to be replaced. He did that as well and took the time to go over maintenance items that I can do to keep the garage door operating without problems. They came out the day I called, which was great since one of our cars was stuck in the garage.

Chris is an excellent craftsman. Not only did he get the old door removed and the new door in, he renovated and reattached our old door opener. I was able to watch him work for a couple of hours and was very impressed with his problem solving skills. A very good work ethic and ability to communicate. There were no extra fees and the price quoted before he started was honored even though he had to do a couple of things beyond a standard job. Ask for Chris!

Perfectly. The service technician was friendly, efficient, effective at what he did, and he took extra time to show us how we should lubricate the rollers and to tell us how often to do this. He told us that since our aged garage door opener was still working we should not replace it; in other words, he did not try to sell us something we did not ask for.

They came out to my home. The technician said I would need a whole new door. Told me it would cost 2000.00. I gave them $500 in advance. That same day another company came out and fixed the coil and door for $200. I called Champion Monday telling them I want to cancel. the owner/manager said he would NOT cash my check and would send it back. 2 days later the check went through. I called and e said he would send the money back. A week later I received 200.00 back. I called about it again and he said that he had to charge for the service call! What service? They came and did an estimate and a poor one at best! I complained and he sent back another $200.00. So I still am out $100 for nothing. This is the most unprofessional company that I have encountered,

Serviceman arrived on time, called ahead to make sure we were ready for him. Performed services and left the area clean and neat.

Mechanical things don't have a calendar and they usually break at the poorest times. This was the case with our garage door spring. The day before Christmas we needed to replace our garage door spring. We called a few places and they were either completely booked up or would charge us a high emergency fee. Champion Garage Doors had availability to fit us in and did not charge us an emergency fee. The service professional was prompt, nice, respectful, and thorough. He replaced our broken spring and also the roller wheels after we approved once he explained to us the recommended need, benefits and cost. We will hire them again if needed and would recommend them to a friend.

The offer was for exactly what I needed done: check and tune up of my squeaking garage door opener, and replacement of the several-years-old worn weatherstrip that had finally ripped after being frozen to the garage floor. Everything went perfectly: Champion called promptly this morning to give me the timeframe for my service, Chris showed up on time to perform it, and was extremely knowledgeable about proper installation and maintenance of garage doors and openers. I liked that he was concerned and spent the time to walk me through how, where, when, and with what type of lubricating product to oil the joints and moving parts of the garage door opener - no previous service persons over the years have taken the time to do that. Champion came out and let us know that they couldn't do it because they didn't have weather stripping that fit our door. They checked the opener system and lubricated it for a nominal cost. They said we should call Angie's list and they would refund our money for the deal, which Angie's list did.

They were there the next day, fixed the door opener, put in a new door, springs, rails and hardware. They also took away the old door. Super fast and professional. They made my life easier I would recommend them to anyone!

I made a Big Deal purchase with them. It worked out good. There was no extra charge. They seemed fine. I wouldn't have any problem using them again. I never met the workers; it was all over the phone. This was my first time using them.

It has been okay. I am going to recommend them.
