Staff is very friendly and does a good job at communicating what they are doing. Results were very positive. I would recommend them to anyone needing pest control.

I initially paid to have Abra Kadabra come out to remove a squirrel from my home. The technician spent more than 2 hours searching for the squirrel. He did a very thorough job. However, the squirrel could not be found. In order to determine how the squirrel got into my home, I was told that I needed to pay for an inspection. Two days later, Andy came out to do the inspection. The inspection that I was given was minimal. Andy was in my home for less than 10 minutes. He did not even walk through the entire home. He spent about 20 minutes walking around the exterior of my home. There was no getting on the roof or checking of the more difficult locations. Everything was minimally done. At the end of the "inspection," Andy reassured me that the squirrel was not in my home. I asked if he might leave a trap just in case. Since we had now paid Abra Kadabra more than $500 in fees without any squirrel being caught, my request didn't seem like I was asking for much. He told me that if he did that, he would need to charge me $649. I said for one trap? He told me that was the price. I did not pay $649 for a trap. Instead, I went to Menards, bought a trap and trapped the squirrel that Andy said was not in my home. My neighbors had recently had had a squirrel inspection done and that technician went through every room in their home, got up on the roof, thoroughly inspected the exterior, etc. This was a large part of my disappointment. I was not given what I had paid for. Additionally, I was given an invoice but not any report for the inspection. When I called the next day to ask about the inspection report and to ask about the estimate for trapping, they said that it both would be emailed. When I received the estimate for trapping, the cost was now $100 more than the night before. When I paid the inspection fee online, I was charged more than on my invoice. I emailed to ask about the cost difference and asked for a refund. I was told, "There is a surcharge of $5.78 that was not part of the invoice total. Sara" I asked for more details, instead of answering my questions, the response was, "It is printed on the invoice." There is nothing on the invoice about a surcharge. I have contested this extra charge with my credit card. Everything about this company is upcharging, false charging, and trying to get as much money from clients as possible. Find a different company with better customer service.

He showed up on time and explained what he was going to do. The spray worked really good as we have very few spiders and bugs the rest of the summer.

Matt responded immediately after our purchase of an Angie's List deal but, unfortunately, he did so via Angie's List e-mail which we do not check so it took a while for us to contact him. He had some technical/phone issues but once we made contact he was responsive. He seemed to know his stuff in spraying our house exterior etc. Don't be put off by the lack of a vehicle with signage when he arrives in his private vehicle. Of course, the proof is in the pudding so we will see if we have a wasp or yellow jacket problem hereafter, although i am confident that he will follow up as necessary if more needs to be done. So far i would certainly recommend him.

They came when scheduled and got the work done. I have not seen a bee or wasp near my house since they were there, which is great since I am allergic to bee stings.

They are always on time and they stayed on the original price for the work they did.

We've always been impressed by Mike's service. We moved into our home 6 years ago and had issues with tons of Japanese Beetles and Bees/Wasps in the front of our house. Mike came out to address the initial issue and we've used their services since then. Mike makes it easy by taking care of everything. He also sprays for mosquitos for us early each summer. He is focused on his job and also goes above and beyond our expectations by telling us about other issues as he goes around our house.

We pay them quarterly. The owners, Mike and Cindy, take a very personal interest in their customers. We originally called them because we had a huge snake problem outside and they came within an hour of being called. They were so good at what they did. They spent two years eradicating the big snake problem we had. They have sprayed for mosquitoes and come back out, even when they have just been out, without any additional charges. One year we kept getting bee nests in our fruit trees and he was coming out probably every two weeks. There was never an additional charge and he was always smiling.

I am on a quarterly contract with Abra Kadabra and they are excellent every time. Mike always shows up when he says he will, and we have not had an insect or rodent problem since using them. I would highly recommend Abra Kadabra!
