I called and they gave me an estimate over the phone. They then came and installed the solatubes. They were very efficient and they did what we asked them for. I would use them in future if need be.

Their guys don’t make a mess, and they clean up after themselves. They are really nice as they do it, and their product is really good. My brother and sister-in-law had 1 solar tube put in and they loved it, so they had another one put in. We are thinking of having another put in into another apartment.

They did a great job. They showed up on time and their price was good.

Outstanding service and value! With plantation shutters and a non-effective front window, our house was dark as a cave. The solar tubes allow us to have bright light during the day even with the shutters fully closed for privacy. Tom was very professional and courteous and was careful to explain everything and get approval on planned and final holes. He worked quickly and efficiently. They say natural light improves production in a work setting; we have three small businesses and since the day they've been installed, I've suddenly had the energy and motivation to work 12 hour days (which I enjoy) rather than sitting around like a bump on a log. We are looking forward to installing another in our bathroom. It's fun to get up in the morning to see the light and also during a lightning storm in the dark. A+++!

They did a minor repair for $90. They were professional, responsive and nice to work with.

Perfect. On a sunny day the light coming from these devices is super! The installer made quick work of putting these in and had to navigate some tricky structures in our roof. As another person reported, I do recommend visiting their showroom to see samples first. I was worried about what would happen in rain, but so far with three heavy rain storms since installation, and no leaks, everything is fine!

Excellent from start to finish. I met with the office manager at their showroom, and she gave me a full walk-through to show me the different types of solatubes & diffusers. They have a great showroom set-up - you can see how a solatube would look in a bathroom, stairwell, commercial office space, living area, etc. The office manager also offered me their State Fair pricing discount. The work was scheduled for the next week. The installer was excellent. He was quick, professional, and cleaned up after himself. He brought two different types of diffusers so I could see which one I preferred. The entire job was finished in less than two hours. We love the solatube - the quality of the light is very natural.

This is my 3rd skylight installed by Solar Midwest and each time has been smooth sailing. The quality of the product is tops. The service is excellent. I can't really comment on the cost, as I have nothing to compare to; but the overall value is very high. Gary did an excellent job with the installation. He's pleasant to work with, and very professional in his manner. He helped out with a few odds & ends, too (moving furniture, installing a heavy 4x12 sheet of drywall ceiling) which weren't planned for. We're running out of rooms to install skylights, but I'd hire this company again in an instant and highly recommend them.

Very well - prompt and thorough, cleaned up their mess, and especially the installer is very knowledgeable about the products, which sizes would be best in which locations, etc. I'm very happy with the work, and the products (which have a 10 year guarantee with 2 year guarantee on workmanship.)

Love the product. We actually have daylight in our bathrooms now. Salesperson was professional and helpful. Installer was polite and did an excellent job.

A visit to the show room of the Solartube/Solar Midwest company is a must, because this was so helpful to us. Diane was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Joe, the installer, came prepared with a 10 inch and a 14 inch Solartube and all the diffuser options; this was great because it helped us make the best decision for your hallway. The job was completed in 2 hours, and, WOW, the light and brightness we have in our hallway is wonderful. Joe was neat as a pin.

THE INSTALLATION WAS PROFESSIONAL. GOOD WORK. THEY LOOK VERY NICE AND HAVE DEFINITELY BRIGHTENED UP OUR LIVING AREA.

THEY HAVE A GREAT SHOWROOM WITH LOTS OF SAMPLE INSTALLATIONS TO GET A GREAT FEEL FOR WHAT IT WILL REALLY LOOK LIKE AND HOW IT WILL PERFORM. THEY HAVE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE AND ARE VERY LOW PRESSURE.

EXCELLENT PHONE STAFF, EXCELLENT INSTALLER. BOTH VERY FRIENDLY. THE SOLATUBES ARE AMAZING! THEY WERE INSTALLED IN PLACE OF THE EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES. OUR WINDOWLESS, DARK, AND NARROW HALLWAY FEELS WIDER, AND IS BRIGHTER. THE LIGHT KITS ARE A GREAT ADDITION. VERY HAPPY WITH THE COMPANY AND THE PRODUCT.

THE PERSON ON THE PHONE WAS VERY HELPFUL IN RECOMMENDING THE SMALLER 10" SOLARTUBE FOR ONE LONG DARK HALLWAY. THE INSTALLER DID A GREAT, QUICK JOB - 3 HOURS - AND CLEANED NICELY.

PETE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AT OUR HOUSE AT 11:00 AM, BUT DUE TO A CANCELLATION, HE CALLED AND THEN ARRIVED AT 9:30. HE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, PLEASANT AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL US ANYTHING THAT WE DIDN'T NEED. HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF VERY WELL AND WAS CAREFUL NOT TO TRACK DIRT INTO THE HOUSE. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE LIGHT THAT NOW COMES INTO A PREVIOUSLY DARK ROOM. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I LOVE THE SKYLIGHTS, THE INSTALLER WAS GREAT AND I THINK THEY HAVE ADDED A GREAT DEAL OF VALUE TO MY HOME. JUST A FEW MINOR ISSUES. I WAS FOOLISHLY UNAWARE THAT THE INSTALLER NEEDED ACCESS TO THE ATTIC, AND I HAD TO SCRAMBLE TO GET STUFF OUT OF THE ACCESS AREA. FURTHER, THE ORDER FOR LIGHT KITS WAS NOT INDICATED ON THE JOB SHEET, BUT IT ALL WORKED OUT IN THE END. A TIP, I WAS ASKED IF THE LIGHT KITS WERE TO REPLACE EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES, AND I HAD ANSWERED YES, BUT I SHOULD HAVE ANSWERED NO. THE QUESTION WAS MEANT TO INDICATE IF THE SKYLIGHT WOULD REPLACE LIGHT FIXTURES IN THE EXACT SAME PLACE IN THE CEILING. MY LIGHTS WHICH THE SKYLIGHTS ARE TO REPLACE ARE WALL MOUNTED, SO WIRING THE LIGHT KIT WILL REQUIRE AN ELECTRICIAN TO MOVE THE WIRES. HAD I ANSWERED THE QUESTION CORRECTLY, I WOULD HAVE KNOW THAT PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION.

I CANNOT BELIEVE THE AMOUNT OF LIGHT THEY BRING INTO MY TOWNHOUSE.

EXCELLENT JOB IN A 90 YEAR OLD BATHROOM. MINIMAL WAIT FOR INSTALL APPOINTMENT - A WEEK OUT, MOSTLY BECAUSE OF MY SCHEDULE. THEY ARRANGED FOR THEIR SUB TO DO THE NECESSARY ELECTRICAL WORK, SO I DIDN''T NEED TO HIRE SOMEONE SEPARATELY TO DO THE WIRING. THE SOLATUBE WITH THE HIDDEN BATHROOM VENT IS A BEAUTIFUL UNIT. INSTALLER WAS EASY TO WORK WITH - PROMPT, TIDY, AND INFORMATIVE. SMOOTH, ALMOST EFFORTLESS, HOME IMPROVEMENT EXPERIENCE.

THEY ARE EXTREMELY PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND GREAT TO WORK WITH.
