I would highly recommend Northland Electrical Service! My older home did not have adequate electrical service to handle all my electrical needs. Northland Electrical Service did a wonderful job of removing the old knob & tube wiring and fuse box in my home and replaced it with new wiring, a breaker box and increased service to the house. I found Tim, Master Electrician to be very helpful and knowledgeable about his trade. Upon initial inspection of my home, he made several suggestions with explanations, such as the placement of switches & receptacles and he brought everything up to code. I was not always present when the work was done and appreciated the work status notes he left for me. I always felt safe & secure in doing so, which was important to me, as a single female. The inspector approved the work without issue and commented that it was very neat work. I plan on using Northland Electrical Service for many years to come!

Outlets were not working in our family room. Diagnosed the problem and fixed promptly.

They were curtious, friendly, prompt. It was a dad and two sons that did the work. They explained what they did. There was no extra costs. They were very, very nice.

Tim and his apprentice son Jacob came to my home as promised and on time. Previous to the work, i asked him to come out and give me an estimate and review the plan for the work that needed to be done which he did. He gave me detailed information about what was required to satisfy the building code in a way that was understandable to me. When they came to do the work, Tim was a diligent worker, easy to communicate with, answered any of my many curiosities, was clean and neat with his work and appearance, and completed the work in a timely fashion under budget. i felt treated respectfully and am very satisfied with the work he did. All things; outlets, ceiling fan, and outdoor lighting he installed are still in excellent working condition. He also did some extra work with a power line that runs from the power pole in my yard to my house that had come off its stabilizer housing at no extra charge. Tim has been my rock steady electrician since i moved into my home in 1992 and i wouldn't have it any other way! Nice to know i have a firm, more than fair, friendly , and professional person i can count on for my electrical needs.

Quick, low cost, painless.

Tim and I spoke about a time to begin the work which depended upon when the shed/garage was completed. He stopped over shortly after the building was finished and said he would be over within two days as he had another job he needed to finish up. I gave him a tour of the building and we discussed the plans again. Tim came over when he said he would...very reliable...and came with all the materials and equipment he needed to perform and complete the job. As he worked through the job, he would periodically explain what he was doing and how he was doing it. He decided to add another overhead pull-string light fixture for added convenience at no extra charge...a pleasant surprise. Tim worked efficiently and was careful to get the job done right. I am, once again, a happy, satisfied customer.
