YDE'S MAJOR APPLIANCE SVC

Great! He came and looked at it and said he need to order a part and that he would order it and give me a call when it came in. Which didn't take long, and few days later he called and wanted to know when would be a good time to come out and between his busy summer schedule and mine we set up a day and a time and he was here and fixed it. He was pleasant and called to make sure I was home before he showed up and to let me know he was on his way. He did a great job. Ydes will be the first one I call next time I need help with an appliance.

The repairman came within the time allotted (2:30 p.m.). He asked about the problem and I informed him that I thought it was the belt not turning the drum. He turned the dryer on, and it immediately started working!! Needless to say, I felt slightly embarrassed. However, he informed me that it happens quite often, and there could still be something wrong. He asked a few questions about exactly what happened before the dryer stopped, and he said he was going to turn it on and let it run for a while to see what happened. After approximately 5 minutes of running, the dryer started making a HUGE noise again, and I was redeemed! He then said he thought he knew what the problem was, and he began taking the dryer apart. About 10 minutes later he called me into the laundry room and informed me that he had found the problem.....a pair of women's panties stuck in the fan motor! He said it was a common problem with dryers, and suggested using a garment bag for washing very small items such as underwear and children's socks. He quickly put the dryer together again, wrote up a repair sheet with the charges, reminded me about the garment bag, and was on his way. He was VERY courteous, and respectful and professional. The charge of $90.00 seemed very reasonable, and I am very happy with my experience with this company. The ONLY suggestion I have is that if this is a common problem, I feel the repairmen could carry an inexpensive, basic garment bag with them for sale to the customer. I know I would have purchased one from him if he had indicated that he had one available for sale.

Quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and returned a few weeks later to replace it.

They were so prompt, and do a fine job. I have no complaints with them and they have even repaired a microwave for us in the past. They're located a little farther out, but they still came and did great work! They were not overpriced for what they did, and I'd highly recommend their services.

We have experienced difficulty finding reliable repair service in our area. The serviceman was prompt, figured out what needed to be done and repaired it!

This was my first time using YDE's and the results were excellent. The repairman ( Rob) was on time, resolved the problem quickly qnd did not waste any time. Cost was average and what I expected. Will use them again and recommend them to anyone for appliance repair

The experience has been, very positive. We asked for which part wasn't confirmed; and, if it was the correct part for our machine. We had looked it up from the internet so we were pretty sure we had the right part; but, they confirmed it and had it for us within, two or three days. They had to order it; they, didn't have in stock.
