Tad Hoskins Construction

Email sent to provider on October 4th. Talked to neighbor and good mutual friend on October 6th, who vouched for quality of work and said he would call Tad. On October 7th, reached Tad Hoskins by phone, who said he had received email, but was very busy and would call by the weekend to arrange appointment for estimate for interior remodelling. There was no return call or message, and the mutual friend said he hadn't returned his call either. Have since found another contractor whose efficient employees are doing an excellent job with work covered by our home insurance, and who has agreed to get the miscellaneous "handyman" jobs done and take care of the remodeling project I was going to give to Tad. It is now October 15th and there has been no word from Mr. Hoskins.

Found this business on Angies List. Contacted him September 25th, discribed my projects and what I was looking for. He said he would be in my area on October 4th and would call me to arrange a meeting at my home that day. Never heard from him either way. Would have appreciated a phone call telling me he couldn't meet and to reschedule. Now I am over a week behind on my project. Just not very happy with his lack of following through on our stated agreement. Not how I would run a business. I guess I just wasn't important enough for him.....

He had to come back later in the week to install the heater, but he did exactly what I needed and sent pictures so I could forward the completed project to the new buyers and appraiser. I'm a realtor in the Minneapolis area and I hire contractors all the time in my business. My previous experience with many contractors in the Brainerd Lakes area is that phone calls are never returned and people don't show up. I really appreciate a work ethic and I was thrilled to find Tad and would hire him again anytime. Tracy Minneapolis MN
