Description of Work: I requested a quote for refinishing hardwood floors in two houses I own, both in the same town, 45 minutes from the provider's location. Initial e-mail contact was prompt and courteous, and an in-home visit was scheduled soon after initial contact. Service person was friendly and on-time for scheduled visit; however, I never received a quote, nor heard a word from the guy afterward. If he didn't want the job, he could have been up front about it. I am going with a different provider from Fargo.

+ -1 moreDavid was outstanding in his craftsmanship. He was also very conscientious about his schedule, always letting us know if his schedule was going to be different than he had told us. He worked with us to get our ideal stain color. We even had to call him back the day after he thought he was done to tell him we had made a footprint in the wet varnish. He was very good-natured as he returned to fix it. During the last week, there was much sanding dust and then odor from the varnish, so we moved out. The end result was well worth it! We highly recommend Legacy Hardwood Floors! We have no negative observations.
Description of Work: Ripped out old hardwood and carpeting in three rooms. Laid new hickory hardwood in these rooms. Stained, sanded, and sealed three coats of finish. Replaced all trim boards. Took approximately two weeks.

+ -1 moreQuality of work was very good to excellent, timeframe in which was completed was within the agreed upon time. I asked for an additional bid for additional hard wood floors to be installed, which was quite Competitive. I would use this person again.
Description of Work: The provider refinished approximately 800 ft.² of hard wood floors.

+ -1 moreThe floors turned out beautifully. I pulled up old carpeting and there was the original 65 year old maple flooring. It was in pretty rough shape with pet stains and caked on carpet sprinkles. David was able to remove not only the old finish but a vast majority of the pet stains. I truly did not believe something that was in that bad of shape could look so great when it was done. David was very professional and the work was done exactly when he said it would be.
Description of Work: Refinish old maple flooring that had been covered by carpeting.
