Response from Windows of Hope Services
Hello, I'd like to make an amendment on this review because I want to correct some statements that were made. First of all, with punctuality. The worker arrived exactly when he was supposed to (the residents of the home were both there when he started). We were told that there would be about 20 panes less than there actually were so naturally the work did take longer than expected. Not only that, but because the screens were of a lower cleaner it took us longer to clean because we were being careful to not break them. The customer admitted that they were weak and we said we would do our best to be careful but one did break while cleaning. Secondly, the price was discussed before beginning with Marlene and she told us to go ahead with the cleaning. The screens that were broken were obviously not factored into the price. Not only that but our worker did extra work and apologized for it happening but the customers were aware that their screens may easily break. Our worker did make the mistake of trying to put one screen back in and one was broken that way. The worker apologized. We take responsibility in part but the review makes the worker out to be very reckless which wasn't the case at all. On top of that, the work was done for a total of $260 after tax, not $300, which is very standard for the work that was done. And lastly, based on the information the customer gave us, the amount of work given was perfect for one person to do- not for two people. That's why he went alone. Please consider both sides when looking at this review... Our other reviews speak very well of our company.
