Sunshine Carpet and Air Duct Cleaning

I purchased a deal via Living Social for $49 for two rooms. When I called to schedule an appointment they informed me that they were "way booked" and that it would quite some time before I could get an appointment. After letting them know I only had one small room they were able to "fit me in" within the next two weeks. I was given a large timeslot for the appointment - sometime between 1:00 - 5:00. At 4:30 I finally called to see if they were coming. I was informed that they were running behind and couldn't make it until closer to 8:00 pm. I told them that this was unacceptable because I have small children that go to bed at 8:00 pm. I had guests coming into town that were going to be using the bedroom - thus the need to have the carpets cleaned. They were not able to provide the service before my guests arrived. After several attempts to reschedule the service - I think I left 3 or 4 messages. We were finally able to get it rescheduled. They did show up and were able to get the carpet cleaned ... but not before they informed me that there would be additional charges to clean the carpet. Since I was only getting one small room done vs. the two I paid for ... I asked them if they could include that as part of the services. The response was no. I did tell them that no one mentioned the possibility of additional charges when I scheduled the appointment the first or the second time. When I refused to pay the additional money - they basically said that I might as well not have the carpets cleaned. I told them to just proceed. Literally 10 minutes later they were done and leaving. No walking me through the room for a quality check, no instructions on how long to keep furniture off the carpet, no apology for not showing up for the first time .... All in all a terrible experience.
