RAPID REGROUT

I needed to have grout repaired in two showers, and on the floor of two bathrooms. I found Rapid Re grout on Angie's List, and called Dan Holm. Dan came out right away and got started. He did a great job, and all three bathrooms are now like new! He was prompt, very neat, easy to work with and did outstanding work.

Dan was very accommodating and knew what he was doing. He provided a detailed estimate and had an Angie's List discount.

They turned out well. Dan is really excellent, and he's easy to work with.

We found Dan through Angie's List, liked what we read about his work, and called him first. Dan came to make an estimate in a matter of hours after we called. His estimate was below what we expected, his professionalism was obvious, and based on a gut feeling, we broke our own rule of requiring a minimum of two or three bids for a project and hired him on the spot. He was able to start almost immediately, worked very hard, cleaned up after himself, was cheerful and pleasant to have in our home. Dan also made sure that we would always be able to use either the tub or shower as he worked, so we were never without bathing facilities. Best of all, the finished work is gloriously beautiful, looks better than it did when brand new. Dan taught us about how to care for ceramic tile, recommended effective products that are eco-friendly, helped us understand how to know when it's time for another regrouting.

It went great. Dan was prompt, he explained everything to me, and he did the work exactly as he said he would.

The whole process went well. Dan said he could get the job done for us before Christmas and he did. He brought in a sub to help. They were both great to work with and Dan worked hard to complete the job. There was TONS of cutting to do and Travertine is not the nicest product to handle, but they stuck with it and did a great job. We've had lots of complements.

It went seamlessly. We are very pleased with the work he did. One small crack developed. He came out right away and repaired it.

Called company on a Wednesday, Dan came the next day to provide estimate and then started the job the next day. The job was completed the following Monday. Allowed Dan access to our house when we were not home. Job cost was per estimate. Area was cleaned up.

Work done professionally and within estimate. About 9 months later, some of the grout in a larger fill area cracked/crumbled. Called Dan and he came out and fixed the problem at no charge per his 1-2 year warranty. I highly recommend this diligent and professional craftsman.

Dan Holm was very easy to work with. He was able to accommodate our schedule and did a fantastic job. We are very happy with the results.

Dan showed up on time for appt and the morning of the work. I left him to work while I went to work. He was gone when I got home from work. Left it clean and let the dog out of the kennel so he wouldn't have to be cooped up. Came back later in the week to seal the tile. New grout makes the bathroom look so much cleaner.

Dan was outstanding. He actually started the work earlier than expected. He helped us locate tile that was appropriate to our needs and brought it to us.(The cost here also included the tile and pick up). He worked neatly and cleaned up after himself. The work in the kitchen proved to be more difficult than expected, but he stayed with it till it was done to everyone's satisfaction. He worked on the project longer than expected. Sometimes it was unclear when he would come again because he had several projects underway. However, he was very easily reached by cell phone and clarified his plans whenever needed. We were extremely pleased and have recommended him to family members.

It all came out very well. Their price was good and they were prompt.

Dan arrived to give an estimate to re-grout an entire bathroom, all walls and tub/shower area. His price was good and he was able to do the re-grout work that day. He returned later to seal the walls. He did a beautiful job; the place looks new. He's an extremely pleasant fellow, easy to talk with, and has a good work ethic. I enjoyed him personally and will enjoy his professional results for quite a long time to come. He is highly recommended.

Dan was extremely professional. He arrived within a couple days of my call to give us an estimate. He was then able to complete the work the following week, returning after 3 days to seal the grout. He actually worked on all 3 of our bathrooms, re-caulking the faucets and tiles of 2 bathtubs also. Our grout was very hard to remove and took extra time, but Dan did not charge us more for this. He had a very strong work ethic, and completely cleaned up after himself after he completed the job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his work to anyone.

Dan was truly a pleasure to work with. His estimate was very fair and he even pointed out where I didn't need additional work that other people said I did. He also made the grout match which I had been told was nearly impossible. He made every effort to reuse much of the old tile as possible and only purchased an additional $30 in new tile to complete the job. I had previously removed the old tile, wallboard and insulation and he replaced everything and re-tiled in one day! Only returning later to seal the grout. He did a beautiful job and saved me the anxiety of attempting it on me own. I would hire him again without hesitation.

We were particularly impressed with Dan's prompt return of our call and ability to work us into his schedule and match our schedule. He thoroughly and carefully cleaned every nook and corner of the floors, working as if it was his personal house. He received my wife s seal of approval for the quality of his work and his pleasant, friendly personality. His meticulous attention to detail makes it easy for us to give hum a five star rating. He will get all of our future work.

They came out on time for an estimate. They did the repair work on time at the price they quoted and they did a very good job.

Dan was on time and did a good job. I had something different in mind for how the base tile was placed and he reset the tiles without complaint.

THE REPLACED GROUT LOOKS GREAT, THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE AND THE WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY. THERE WAS A LITTLE LEFTOVER GROUT IN A FEW PLACES, BUT THAT WAS EASY FOR US TO CELAN UP (DIDN'T SEE THE POINT IN ASKING THEM TO COME OUT AGAIN FOR SOMETHING SO MINOR). DAN WAS ON TIME AND VERY ACCOMMODATING. EVEN LET OUR DOG OUT AND THEN MADE SURE SHE GOT BACK IN THE KENNEL.

DAN WAS PROMPT TO GIVE A BID ON THE PROJECT AND ABLE TO WORK US INTO HIS SCHEDULE QUICKLY. ENTIRE BATHROOM WAS REGROUTED AND I ASKED DAN TO SEAL THE GROUT AT END OF PROJECT SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO. FIRST TIME OF USING SHOWER AFTER PROJECT WAS COMPLETED GROUT APPEARED TO BE SOAKING UP WATER AND DID NOT APPEAR TO BE SEALED. I HAD ALREADY PAID DAN AS HE SAID HE SEALED THE TILE. I LEFT A MESSAGE FOR DAN ASKING QUESTIONS ABOUT TILE GROUT CHANGING COLOR, SOAKING UP WATER WHEN WET, BUT DID NOT EVER HEAR BACK FROM HIM. I INQUIRED AT THE TILE SHOP AS TO IF GROUT THAT ACTED THIS WAY HAD BEEN SEALED, AND THEY SAID ''NO'', SO AFTER ALL, I ENDED UP HAVING TO BUY GROUT SEALER AND TAKING HOURS TO FINISH THE JOB ON MY OWN. AS I WAS HAVING TO RESEAL THE GROUT, I NOTICED SOME HIGHER AREAS THAT I HAD NOT NOTICED EARLIER WHERE GROUT WAS CLUMPED ON TILE, AND NOT VERY NEAT ALONG EDGES. OVERALL THE BATHROOM IS REGROUTED, BUT THERE COULD HAVE BEEN MORE ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THERE WAS A PERSISTENT PROBLEM, BUT HE RESPONDED CONSISTENTLY, & PROFESSIONALLY EACH TIME. THE RESULTS ARE GREAT, THE PRICE WAS COMPETITIVE, & WE ARE QUITE PLEASED.

AFTER ALMOST TWO WEEKS OF PHONE TAG WITH DAN, HE STOPPED BY AT AN APPOINTED TIME TO LOOK AT THE FLOOR. AFTER A BRIEF SPOT TEST CLEANING, DAN TOLD ME HE DIDN'T THINK THERE WAS MUCH HE COULD DO THAT I COULDN'T DO MYSELF WITH A GOOD CLEANER (HE PROVIDED A RECOMMENDATION ON WHAT TO USE) AND A LOT OF ELBOW GREASE. I APPRECIATED HIS CANDOR, RATHER THAN PAYING TO HAVE WORK DONE AND THEN BEING DISAPPOINTED IN THE RESULTS.
