Steven is a superlative painting professional. His work in intricate places is amazing, such as expertly painting up to detailed wood without leaving any trace of paint on the wood, nor missing a spot. We comfortably can leave the house and come back to a cleaned-up finished area.

Steve was great to work with! Carefully listened as we explained work we wanted done, clearly communicated his estimate for the project and followed through on the work schedule he outlined for us. His work was excellent--everything we hoped for and more!

Steve did a fantastic job. He was available right away and was willing to tackle a large project for us including removing wallpaper from a two story entryway. The walls looked great once he completed the project. I will be having him back to do other painting down the line. Great work and professionalism!

We couldn't be happier with Phillips Painting Plus. We needed a contractor on short notice for work to be completed before our movers were scheduled. We also needed to keep within budget and Steve came through on all aspects. He responded the same day with a fair bid and was available to start that week. He was friendly, easy to communicate with & very clear on what to expect throughout the project. It was a stressful time after selling our home & moving twice. Steve's great sense of humor helped to lighten our moods & get through the chaos. Steve painted our vaulted walls with ease and his work was proof of many years of experience. He was an organized & clean worker, each day making sure to remove or set aside his tools & equipment. This might be the most pleasant experience I have had with workers in my home..Steve responded very quickly at my request for service. He came out, & made a very reasonable quote. As usual, I changed my mind, so he came out again. Steve is so willing to answer questions, or deal with concerns. He is so professional....arrived on time...cleaned up every day. I am so pleased with final result. Maybe at the top of the list...he is a very friendly person and pleasant to be around. PS He has a GREAT sense of humor. We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

It went very well. He did a very nice job on a tough and messy chore. My only omplaint was that there were some blobs of paste left on the carpet.

Fantastic! We hired him on a time & materials basis and thought he was very fair in his final bill. He was very careful, always wanted his work to be perfect. He was open to having us bring up other areas that needed some touchup work. He was excellent at blending old & new paint as he went. He always cleaned up at the end of each day, and let us know what time he would be back the next day. He was a joy to have around!

It was a two story entryway with grass cloth wallpaper. Big job! Steve did a great job! Would hire again.

Phillips Painting Plus was able to start my job sooner than promised and came in under budget. They let me do as much work as I could to help reduce my costs. They cleaned up everything and left everything nice. They even replaced some light bulbs while they were on the ladder in a light fixture that was high and hard to get to.

My experience was fine. There was one painter here. He did a good job. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule.

Showed up promptly for scoping the job. I had the price estimate and approximate start date within 24 hours. Showed up on time both mornings he painted and was very knowledgeable and professional. My cost was lower than the original estimate as I forgot to give Steve my Angie's List discount coupon when he first showed up. Owner did all work -- no subbing out of the job. Very personable. I would absolutely use Phillips Painting Plus again.

The service went well. I actually had them remove wallpaper. Two technicians came out and complete the job in 1 day. I had no difficulty scheduling the deal.

The painting itself went well. I had two colors in my bedroom, one color in my office. Both rooms have vaulted (13') ceilings on one side, which with this particular Big Deal was not a limiting factor. Steve did a great job. The lines where the two very different colors in my bedroom are crisp and clean. His attention to detail shows in how clean his lines are and no oops anywhere. The job took two days, due to Steve's vehicle having issues. He went over the eight hours in the deal, which cost me another $135. I believe in paying a professional because they like (love) what they do and they have the tools to do the job right the first time. It would have taken me forever and it would have been sloppy, compared his neat and clean.
