We were very pleased. They both came and returned when promised. The work looks great. The workers were very polite. They explained to me what they were doing to address our concerns and provided information on caring for the concrete. They did a great job of cleaning up, both days. Our neighbor, who has some experience in these matters, watched with an eagle eye and told me they did a great job and he asked for their telephone number so he can contact them next spring for work at this house.

At first, the driveway looked excellent. After less than a year, however, the concrete began to spall and chip away. After two years, it is now terrible....deteriorating everywhere. We complained to Gardner Construction after we first began to notice the chipping and spalling and they tried to gaslight us, telling us it was fine, wasn't really all that bad, was "extremely rare", and "you can barely notice it from the street". We told them, flat out, fix it, refund, or we take you to small claims court. We ended up settling with them for 50% refund, which is still too little given that the entire driveway will need to be re-done...of course, by someone competent next time.

As a contractor myself, I recognize professionalism. Leanne was very helpful on the phone. Jerry and the crew arrived on time, were responsive to my requests, did a great job and cleaned up when done. Gardner Construction is a top shelf contractor.

Gardner Construction did an excellent job. They responded promptly to my request for a bid and were able to slot me in within a week. The job itself took about a day and a half to complete. The workers first scraped away all the cracked parging and then securely attached metal netting all around the foundation before finally applying a new parge layer on both sides of the metal netting. The workers were very conscientious and even took the time to tie up my hedges and bushes to prevent them from being stepped on while the work was done. The finished product looks excellent and I expect that it will last for many years to come.

The work was done well, the price was good considering most of the work was manual - shoveling, breaking up concrete, etc. Communication was not great between myself and the estimator after the estimate was given, and some of the workers showed up in personal vehicles rather than company vehicles, so it was hard to know if they were employees of the company or subcontractors. In the location where the concrete pad was removed, it would have been nice if they would have leveled out the dirt instead of just leaving a pile.

Called and left a message. They called back and I explained what we were looking for. They asked for me to send a picture of the existing porch. I sent the picture via message on the phone. After a few days and no response, I called again and left a message. They called back and said they would set up a time to come see me. After a week I call again. Again said they would set up a time to come see me. Never heard from them again.

Great. They secured the permit. Very helpful.

Extremely well! Scott and his team were very professional, on time and thorough. We are very impressed with this company, mostly in part to Scott as you could tell how much he cared about the company and making sure each client is well taken care of from start to finish. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Everyone was very professional -- job was done fast, and they even were extra careful not to damage the garden beds right in front of the work site. The results look great. Very happy.

Seth did a great job of explaining the project and answering all my questions. I was very impressed with the promptness, professionalism and friendliness of the workers: Seth, Corey, Ryan, Derrick and Juan. Ryan even repaired two unrelated downspouts. I was very pleased and would recommend them to friends and family.

We were prepping our house to put on the market and needed this done quickly before listing. Bill was great to work with!! He came out, did an estimate and explained how he was going to do the repair. He worked with in our short time frame to make sure the work was complete! We really appreciated his flexibility. Excellent, Jerry an crew are the greatest ! A little on the expensive side of things, but with that said QUALITY comes with a price! In my opinion they are the BEST in the BUSINESS hands down! I have another project for the company in May, they will be installing a concrete patio.

It wasn't for me, it was for somebody else. But, they seemed very good. The quote was thorough and well done. It took them just a day to get the quote.

I submitted a request online to be contacted for a quote. A Mark did leave me a message suggesting two dates that he could stop by the property. I called back and requested a different date, never received a call back. Left another message no call back. Done with this now, will move on to another company.

We're very pleased with the results. Seth and the other three members of his crew were very professional and all of them were hard workers. They answered our questions and provided good advice. The quality of their work is outstanding! We had hoped that they would be able to do the work this year before winter sets in, and indeed they were able to complete the job for us. We would definitely hire all of them again.

I knew I had an issue with my garage apron but wasn't sure how bad it was. I called Gardner Construction to arrange for someone to come out and ***** the situation and provide an estimate. Jerry stopped out within a couple of days. Jerry explained that some of the blocks were decaying and that this is a common occurrence. He explained that they would remove the apron, clean out the damaged blocks, repair the damage, and then pour a new apron. He was able to schedule me within a couple of weeks. He arrived to do the work as scheduled with a crew of 5 or 6 guys. The entire crew was friendly and professional. Everyone had their job and they worked very quickly. Within an hour and a half they had removed the old apron and also removed a portion of the asphalt driveway (I was putting in a larger apron than what I previously had). The next morning they quickly had the forms built and concrete poured. They cleaned everything up and swept the driveway when they were done. If I need concrete work done in the future, Gardner will be my first call.

Great - Was the best price and showed up on time and finished the work that day. Dug below grade, put in wire mesh and concrete and refilled trench.

The repair went very well. Got an estimate Sat., Aug. 13. The work was done and completed on Mon., Aug. 15. Gardner Construction was very friendly and responsive. I didn't expect to have the work done that quickly, but things worked out well.

I had an issue with water leaking into a bedroom in my basement after heavy rainfall. I received an estimate from one contractor and called to scheduled appointments with several other contractors, everyone was booked a week or two out. I called Gardner and they were able to come out the same evening to provide an estimate. Jerry was very knowledgeable and provided several options for me that would solve my problem and was open to whatever I decided. Gardner happen to have a cancellation for the next day so I decided to choose them and cancelled the other estimates I had scheduled. The day the work was being done, I received a call from Jerry with the approximate time they would be over. The crew showed up on time, were extremely professional and hard working. They were done in about 3 1/2 hours. Jerry showed me the work that was completed and an area of concern. The water had damaged some drywall that I would need to replace. They pulled off the drywall for me and put up plastic to cover up the area. They cleaned everything up very well in the front lawn and the bedroom. They also cleaned out one of my gutters which was an added bonus! You could not tell that any work was done that day. They were careful with pulling back my carpet as to not rip the carpet pad and Jerry also instructed me on how I should put the carpet back. I had such a great experience with Gardner Construction that I have already recommended them to others! My basement bedroom has been dry ever since even after several heavy rainfalls.
