Very well. We were kept informed of the time table and they were able to start quickly. We didn't do any comparison pricing so I don't know how they fared up with others - I trusted Angie's list.

They did an excellent job. Their people were very good and the foreman was very affable and knowledgeable. So far everything they did has held together and looks like new. There was a small crack left where they should have put a control joint and didn't.

Called for an estimate on Thursday and Eric arrived Friday. Gave us a detailed description of what our options were. We decided to do the most complete option, including adding a sump pump. Five workers arrived early the following Monday, and were done before noon. They also repaired the landscaping on the exterior, which we thought we would have to do ourselves. Pleasantly surprised. We were concerned about getting the work done before the ground froze, so were delighted they could get it done when they did.

The upfront work was wonderful with a full investigation of what's causing the problem. I discussed with Eric the cause of the moisture and the options. He spent a great deal of time explaining it all to me so I was very comfortable with the work they would perform and comfortable with the decision to go ahead. I had a tight time frame as I was selling my home and getting ready to leave for vacation. They were able to squeeze me in to their schedule within a few days and completed the job in one day. They called in many extra hands to help get it all done. They also had to tear out 2 closets to get to the floor and arranged for another company to come pick up the extra material (at my expense). It was a relief to get it all taken care of in one day. One of the owners was on sight during the project and actively involved in directing the team. They did a great job.

They came out within a couple of days to look at the project and provide an estimate. They did a thorough examination of the situation, and even provided advice on some areas that were not in the scope of the project. However, they did "toot their own horn" quite a bit, even suggesting that we did not need to seek other opinions and cautioning against using less reputable companies. I know they have a great reputation and do high quality work, but this was a bit off-putting. Their bid was also significantly higher than other bids we received. Again, I know they do good work, but it was just too much for our budget.

The company responded immediately to our call when our basement flooded after a very severe rain. Eric spent several hours here over two days, giving our problem much more considered thought than either of the other two companies we consulted. The work was accomplished quickly, professionally and neatly. Employees were very careful with the interior and the exterior of our home. Eric called several times to check in with us after the job was done.

The person who came out to do the estimate was very nice, but the price was much higher. Almost double other contractors for the exact same bid.

I was very impressed with Gardner construction and their crews. They were able to fit us in their schedule right away. I had the basement fixed first and then decided to call them back to have the landscape regraded and have the patio and walkway put in. They came out the next day and started the work. They did a fantastic job on my patio/ walkway! I love it!! I would hire them again if I have any other cement needs.

Everything turned out beautifully, and I still can't believe it was accomplished in 5 days! They did an excellent job with cleanup after they were finished also. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The cost was a little over the estimate, but some things were added on my part during construction.

We had a few estimates done before deciding to hire this company. They were around the same price as others, but we were most impressed with Gardner after talking with them. They poured our concrete and did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. We have been very happy with the work that was done.

We were a couple of days away from hosting 100+ people at our house for a wedding, when water started pouring into the well room in our basement through a deteriorated brick in the wall, due to heavy rains. I called Gardner Construction at about 4:30 or 4:45pm and they sent Bill Kuhan out the very next morning at 8:00am to take a look at the problem. Bill arrived on time. I only expected to get an estimate because I thought it would be very costly to repair, however, Bill clearly explained the problem and offered to fix it on the spot. The cost was much lower than I expected it would be. Bill was very responsive and answered all of my questions about the repair job. In addition, he also answered questions about cracks in the cement of our garage floor. Bill's a really nice guy and provided excellent service. I will definitely call them for future concrete work.

I am very, very pleased with the work that Gardner Construction did on my garage foundation. They were prompt and fast for both the estimate and the work. They are clearly experts and were even able to fix the bowed wall which I did not even think was possible. I was also pleasantly surprised that they fixed the area under the service door (which I had forgotten to mention), enabling the door to open and close normally, which it hadn't done for some time. What a treat!

He was very communicative. He was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. He seemed to be good to his helpers and his helpers knew what they were doing. He is wonderful.

He was great, coming out on almost a moments notice to examine and estimate repairs during our inspection. Although we did not use Gardner for the repairs he was very prompt and professional.

Got four quotes ranging from $1000 to this quote. The others were for just tuckpointing, and some itemized out an overlay over the foundation. This quote was for installation of wire lath with resurfacing of walls, and we were blown away by the price quoted...well beyond what we were thinking!

I called Rob on a Friday morning. He came that afternoon to give an estimate. The crew started work on Monday morning and was finished with the whole project by Wednesday. The job was complicated because the front step was over an old well room with plumbing in it, so they had to be very careful. I was very happy with the work and also pleased that they cleaned up so well afterward. I think I might have gotten a better price, but didn't get any other estimates because they were able to start the work so soon.

This was a major construction project and we selected Gardner Construction based on their industry knowledge (approach to our particular situation), professionalism, experience and strong references. We had less expensive bids but lacked confidence in other contractors abilities to solve our core problem. Jerry and his crew started on time and put in full days, finishing in just 7 business days. They were conscientious about protecting floors and installing poly to minimize construction dust. They did a nice job of cleaning up inside and out at the end of the project. The first day was quite a shock as our yard, driveway and family room was gutted and converted into a staging area and full blown construction site. Jerrys crew was careful to minimize damage and destruction - and repaired incidental damage to siding and one gutter.

Gardner construction is the most professional, hard-working, careful, thorough, and helpful construction company I have ever dealt with. Their salesperson, Bill, assisted me with design choices and color choices. He was very flexible with times and dates. My 11th hour change in color did not even phase him. The construction crew, which was sometimes as many as 9 people, was excellent. They did a stellar job and despite the heavy machinery in my yard, they did not damage a single thing. My landscaping, just inches away from the work areas, was left unscathed. They were on time and their clean up each day was exceptional. I would recommend them without a doubt!! Concrete is expensive work and I am always shocked by the price, but their bid was very competitive with others.

The job was challenging in that many solutions and decisions could only be made after the dirt was removed, revealing the original structure. All phases of their work were done very professionally, along with excellent clean-up after each day. Jerry and his crew came when they said they would and worked on each phase of the project straight through until it was completed.

Jerry Gardner, came out the very day that I called. He was very knowledgeable, and knew right away what the problem was, and how to fix it. After an unsuccessful attempt to get the original contractor to come, and fix it immediately, I called Jerry back, and he rearranged his work crew to come the NEXT DAY to do this work. The crew was very nice, and polite. They cleaned up after the cutting was done. They even attempted to correct the brick facing that had been pushed out. This was not something I wanted to have to pay for, I wish I could have had the original guy come out, and fix what he caused to be broken. But since that didn't happen, I am so grateful to Gardner for their quick response. I feel that Gardner did a wonderful job, were very responsive, and I would definitely hire them again.

HORRIBLE. ON 9/14 THEY WERE AWARDED THE JOB TO REMOVE ASPHALT DRIVEWAY AND LAY A NEW CONCRETE ONE WITH A 2 WEEK PROMISED DELIVERY. AFTER NUMEROUS DELAY EXCUSES, ON 11/7 THEY SAID COULDN'T GET IT IN THIS YEAR AND GUARANTEE IT. THEY WILL NOT BE INCLUDED WHEN I REBID NEXT YEAR.

ROB RETURNED MY CALL RIGHT AWAY WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. HE REFERRED ME TO HIS ESTIMATOR, BILL, WHO CAME OUT SEVERAL DAYS LATER. BILL SAID HE COULD DO THE JOB, HIMSELF, INSTEAD OF GOING THROUGH THE COMPANY, TO SAVE ME TIME AND MONEY. HE SAID HE WOULD GET ME AN ESTIMATE RIGHT AWAY, BUT INSTEAD JUST SHOWED UP SEVERAL DAYS LATER, SAYING HE HAD A CREW LINED UP AND WOULD START THE NEXT DAY, BEFORE EVEN TELLING ME HOW MUCH IT WOULD BE. I INSISTED HE PUT A FIGURE IN WRITING AND GIVE ME SOME TIME TO DECIDE. HIS FIGURE TURNED OUT TO BE ABOUT WHAT HE SAID THE COMPANY WOULD CHARGE, $2200, AND WAS ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD WITH THE NAME CROSSED OUT. MAYBE IT'S ALL OKAY WITH ROB, BUT IT MADE ME VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND I DECIDED TO DO THE WORK, MYSELF, INSTEAD. MY COMMENTS ARE NOT MEANT TO REFLECT POORLY ON GARDNER, WHO DESERVES AN A, JUST THE EMPLOYEE DEALING ON THE SIDE.

ROB AND JERRY WERE GREAT TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE CREW ARRIVED PROMPTLY ON THE ARRANGED DATE AND WORKED HARD AND EFFICIENTLY. THE JOB WAS ESSENTIALLY FINISHED IN ONE DAY (WITH RETURN TRIPS ONLY FOR ADDITIONAL SEALING AND CUTTING). EXCEPT FOR A COUPLE OF MINOR PROBLEMS WITH THE SEALER, THE WORK DONE APPEARS TO BE OF HIGH QUALITY. IT IS A HUGE IMPROVEMENT OVER WHAT WE HAD.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. BILL RESPONDED TO MY CALL AND QUICKLY CAME OUT FOR ESTIMATE. HE RECOMMENDED REPAIRS THAT SEEMED TO BE A PERMANENT FIX. GOOD WORKMANSHIP ON ALL ASPECTS OF THE JOB. VERY PROFESSIONAL IN RESPONDING TO MY QUESTION ABOUT SCOPE OF WORK VS. ORIGINAL QUOTE. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THE ESTIMATE WAS SIMILAR TO OTHERS THAT I GOT. VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. AFTER HE CAME OUT TO MEASURE AND ESTIMATE THE JOB ($13000), I REALIZED HE DIDN'T MEASURE THE WAY I WANTED THE PORCH POURED. HE SAID HE'D HAVE TO COME OUT ANOTHER DAY. HE NEVER CALLED BACK TO RESCHEDULE. I WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.
