Gardner Construction did an incredible job. They were responsive, timely, and efficient. They bid the job and the final invoice came in at the exact amount. The crew was here every day right on time and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. Jerry was on-site through the entire project. The crew worked hard all the time. No one ever sat around and they never had to wait for any supplies or additional crew to arrive. They were the most efficient team I've ever seen. They were very professional and courteous to our family. They explained the project to us with each step, even accommodating our desire to get pictures of the process. They finished the project in a shorter amount of time than we expected. The city inspector commented that Gardner does an incredible job. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend Gardner Construction, Inc and will use them again if we have a need. Thanks, Jerry, Rich & crew! We were very impressed.

Seth was excellent to work with. He was responsive and helpful along the way. Their bid came in under the competitors, but they did a superb job. The sidewalk is beautiful, and best of all, we won't worry any longer about water getting in the basement. They also raised the yard by 8 inches and installed a window well on the other side of the house. It was nice to have one crew do the whole thing. They even put up with the 4 sets of eyes watching them from the kids. I will definitely be calling them again for more cement work.

Gardner was recommended by two co-workers. Everything went great. They came out and inspected the issue and set up a time to do the repair within one week. The crew came out and did the work and even checked out another area with an issue and took care of that. We would definitely use them again.

They did really good. I was pretty satisfied with them. They were quick. Everything seems to be ok. We haven’t had water problems like we had this time last year. Everything seems to be working ok. They are coming back in the spring to acid wash the cement. We are probably thinking of using them in the spring for couple of things.

After I accepted the estimate, he said it would be three to four weeks. No date as the weather has been unpredictable. That gave me time to clear out the garage. A call came one morning and they came after lunch. They were a well -oiled machine, working together efficiently. No slackers. They were to return the next morning at 7:30 AM. All the men converged before 7:30 and started right in. Very organized and cleaned up after each day's work. I was told that they also replaced some of the bricks. Everyone was courteous from the office to construction crew members.

The job couldn't have gone better. Seth gave us several options for fixing our garage foundation and floor with several different price options. He responded immediately to our request for a proposal. The prices were very reasonable and the work top notch. He made sure the new garage floor section drained properly, which was our major concern. We did not have to wait long for the job to be completed. We would definitely use Gardner Construction, Inc. again.

AWESOME SERVICE! Previously, we contacted two other companies on Angie?s List to inquire about correcting a chronic drainage issue we have in our back yard pertaining to our basement sump pump and both companies either never got back to us with estimates or could not ever give us a firm start date. In frustration, we searched Angie?s List again and inquired with Gardner Construction, Inc. They promptly came out, gave us a bid (note: it was on the high side), and they began Monday the following week. Our job was a day and a half and entailed work both outside and inside. Ryan, who was in charge of the project on-site, was meticulous about every last little detail and all crew men involved with the job were observed to be hard workers with attention to detail. Gardner took additional steps to ensure positive project outcome that other companies didn?t offer. Obviously Gardner Construction has a reputation for excellence: when the sanitation company arrived to haul away the dumpster at project completion, the driver had nothing but high praise for the work he's observed that Gardner consistently does and said that when he needs work done he will call them. This company is very, very thorough, did an excellent job for us and we highly recommend them!

Seth was prompt throughout including showing up for the estimate through the completed projects. The price was reasonable, scheduling was prompt, and all services were completed as estimated. The entire crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. I would highly recommend Seth and his crew.

In advance we were told they were booked out 6-8 weeks. This was fine. however, as the dates became closer, the communication wasn't the best. We had intermittent response. When this was brought to their attention, they quickly resolved it and things were great. My husband and I can't say enough great things about the crew that did the work, the owner, Leanne in the office. They were all remarkable. Had great suggestions for us. Very knowledgeable. They certainly weren't the least expensive, but we are so pleased we spent more to get the quality. Well worth it. Can't wait for another project to bring them in on! Thanks!

Wow. I contacted them on Friday and by Tuesday at 10am the work was done! They were quick to respond. They were on time. Their price was right in line with the competition. They were NICE and EASY to work with. I had a crack in my foundation that had been poorly "repaired" by a previous owner. The lousy patch job and come undone and we were getting water whenever it rained. They repaired the crack, made sure there was nothing clogging the drain tile, regraded the problem area outside and replaced/cleaned everything up so it looks better than ever. I will be calling them again and letting my neighbors know who to call when they have water issues. Thank you!

We worked with Scott Morris. He came out and talked with us and provided a quote. We thought it looked good so we accepted. There was some initial confusion about scheduling but we were able to clear that up after a few calls. Scott and his crew showed up on time and worked quickly. They tore out the old pavers and created the forms while having to account for a few surprises (we have an 89 year old house). Scott and his crew were polite and professional and answered all of my questions during the build. They were done in 2 days which was one day early. We think he did good work and have had our neighbors comment on how nice it looks.

They stopped by within a day of first being contacted to quote the job. They were out three days later to perform the project. There was about a twenty foot channel that was cut in the basement floor. They were careful of supply and drain pipes, and kept the dust to a minimum with a great exhaust system. They laid sheets all along their path including the stairs. The finished product looks great and they were finished in about four hours.

It went alright. They did leave a bit of a mess to clean up. They seem professional in their knowledge of the problem we had and they were very punctual.

Went great. With their analysis of the problem and what I can do myself gave me a sense of relief and this house has has several major issues to deal with. Thanks for their honesty.

Original contact person, Bill, dropped the ball. I do not think he took me seriously or paid much attention. After waiting 6 weeks without any communication I called again and was told he would call me by the next day. He didn't. I contacted them again rather than start fresh with another company. They came out the next week and did the work. I sent their $4500 payment and foolishly a thank you note that afternoon because it was a relief to have the work done. I called them the following Monday after realizing they didn't do one bed of rocks that I asked to have done. I also asked Luann for a revised invoice. Luann said I'd get the invoice and that Gerry would call me about the bed. It is going on the second week and I have not heard from either of them. They will try to blame the rain for the backlog and delay, but that is no excuse for poor customer service. I realized that after Gerry asked how much my job was before he scheduled my job that they are all about the dollar.

Seth came out the day I called him. He sized up the problem quickly and came back with a very reasonable quote in a day or two. Showed up at the scheduled time and did an excellent job on the driveway and other landscaping replacement work we requested... can highly recommend this company and Seth in particular.

After some initial delay in getting the quote to us (they were very busy with the recent rain storms) they were able to get a crew out the day after we committed to the work - the other contractors needed 4-6 weeks to get us on the schedule. The two-man crew did a great job and left no mess for us to deal with. The fast response allowed us to get new carpeting installed sooner rather than 1-2 months from then.

Seth was responsive, professional, and punctual. We had another contractor bid for the work, but Seth offered the best (& cheapest) solution to our waterlogged basement. The other contractor wanted to install a sump pump as if we had a concrete foundation, which included digging a trench + gravel in the perimeter of the concrete floor of our basement. However, Seth suggested that was not needed since we had a wood foundation, and there was already rock under our concrete floor. His solution was to dig a hole and use a deep enough basket to reach our already existing gravel. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Seth! We are eternally grateful for all you did and how responsive you were to helping us solve our problem. It's not often in life that you get something better for less, so I count this as a blessing.

I like many other folks in Minnesota had water in my basement June 2014. I had two bid's and decided to go with Gardner Construction. I felt Gardner Construction was the most knowledgeable due to the fact they install foundations and exterior drain tile as well. They like many other companies cannot keep up with the volume of calls they have received. Jerry came out and provided a bid which I accepted the same day. Work was completed 3 1/2 weeks later. The crew was very professional and arrived on time. They did a great job minimizing the dust from cutting the concrete floor. They installed 82' of interior drain tile and a sump pump. I cannot say enough what a great job they did!!! I would highly recommend them. Also, they corrected a drainage issue on the south side of my house. This involved digging a 6 x 6 x 6 hole and filling it with gravel. They placed a drainage pipe in the middle and covered it with treated plywood and a patio stone. The area was re-sodded as well. The crew covered my lawn and my neighbors lawn with plywood so grass was not damaged by equipment and removal of the cement for interior drain tile. Did a great job cleaning up inside and outside of my house! I would highly recommend this company!!!!

Jerry and his crew of five arrived on time. They were friendly and made every effort to keep things as clean as possible. They worked hard for about four hours and finished in estimated time.
