This company is good. They came when they said they would, did the work fast, thoroughly, and efficiently — and in the time they said they'd take. Randy is personable and a pleasure to deal with and the price is quite reasonable. This was a walkway lined with garden plants that came right up to the cement. The crew took care not to damage them. Not a single plant was damaged. We'd use them again in a heartbeat.

They told me what the problem was over the phone and were able to recommend using a landscaping company to fix the slope of my yard. They were very honest in suggesting the type of work needed.

Randy is very personable and professional. The job seemed a little spendy but the work was great. He brought a large enough crew so that they were in and out in half a day. The cement looks very uniform and attractive. When we had pulled out our dying shrubs, the partially painted foundation blocks looked hideous. They now look great and we are ready to put in new plantings.

The person doing the estimate was very personable and professional. However, the estimate was $5000 to $6000 higher than the other three bids we received, so we had to choose another company.

They gave me a good quote and did exactly what they said they were going to do.

We were very pleased with the service we received from G Gardner. We had a minor leak in our finished basement and G. Gardner knew that it did not call for a sump pump, but simply drain tile along the wall to collect any further seepage. When they opened up the concrete floor to install the drain pipe, they saw that the previous owners had installed drain pipe, but it ended just where we were having water problems. So they connected the new drainpipe to the old and that was that. In the meantime, we realized that we had a much bigger problem with water in an old section of our basement (100+ yrs old) that required additional drain tile and a sump pump. They tacked this other job to the first at a minor cost and included a sump pump with the job. While they were at it, they helped to shore up the exterior of the house to prevent water from drifting towards the house AND installed a bike rack that we've been waiting to install for a year. They figured since they had the cement, why not! Love that kind of customer service. They answered a million questions and concerns I had along the way, being both responsive and timely. So appreciated working with them. Would highly recommend them!

G Gardner did a great job repairing our foundation. They had done the same work on our neighbor's house so we had an example of their work. They were very professional with communicating the timeframe of the repairs. They came out a little later than they expected but that was due to recent rain. The guys that did a good job and cleaned up the site well when they left. The work took less time than they thought it would but it looks great!

The company was prompt, professional and responsive. They quickly returned emails and produced an estimate. I opted to contract with another company but I feel confident that G. Gardner Concrete would have done a fine job as well.

G Gardner was great to work with. We are in the middle of a remodeling project and the drain tile was a bit of an afterthought...but after getting water in the basement again, we decided it was a must. Richard came out and gave us an estimate within 5 days of our call and they were able to do the work the day after the estimate was completed. The crew was professional and all of the work was completed within one day. We had some tricky spots to get around, including under stairs and through a bathroom and they did it all without complaint. Richard is really an approachable, knowledgeable and friendly guy and I enjoyed working with him. G Gardner will be my concrete company of choice for any future work I need.

G. Gardner's bid was in $2,000 less than another water company. I like that G. Gardner doesn't use salesman or high pressure sales tactics. Gary came out to our house and talked us through the work process (instead of showing us a video). Gary and his crew did great work. They were friendly, professional and efficient. The work was completed ahead of schedule!

This was a pretty good experience. The crew showed up when they said they would and did the job in the time they predicted. Our only quibble was with a couple of small pitted places we discovered after they'd gone that were oddly left unpatched. But overall we were quite happy with the job.

Nice work done. Cleaned up well and worked around the items in our basement. They solved the problem of going under the stairs without tearing them out. Communicated with us on the placement of the drainpipe to the exterior as well as the actual pump.

We chose this company based on their ratings in Angie's list. Randy, the owner of the company, came promptly for an estimate and his very capable crew arrived on the day scheduled. The crew was careful, highly skilled and affable. The older foundation coating was removed, wire lathe was fixed to the exposed block, and two coats of cement were applied. Where the block had deteriorated concrete was pored into the core. Shrubs were protected and the work site was immaculate after the job was completed. Working with Randy has been one of the most enjoyable contractor experiences we have had, and we have had many over the years.

We have a unique problem which involves cement, brick, waterproofing, and asphalt. It's a brick-walled area above our garage we use as a deck.Because the basic problem is water damage, I thought I'd try this company. Randy returned my call the same day and set up an appointment for the following week. He was prompt and pleasant to work with. He spent a lot of time accessing the problem, looking at it from all angles and giving a little insight as to how he would go about the repair. He said he would get back to me the next week with a definite plan of action. When I spoke with him the next week he admitted he did not think he was the person for this particular job and recommended a flat roof specialist. I appreciated his integrity and candidness.

Everything has been great. He came the day after I called him, and he showed up the next day to come do it. I use him for all of my concrete work. He does great work, and the price was reasonable.

Spoke with Randy who said that he doesn't work with stone. He explained that the process is more of an art form and we should find someone who has experience working with stone. He gave some suggestions. Overall, he was very helpful.

Email Randy based on reading good reviews on AL. Received a return email later that night. Arranged time to meet and discuss. Randy arrived on time and provided a estimate on the spot. We were leaving on vacation the next week. Randy was able to move around their schedule to accomodate our job so it could be done while we were away. This was helpful, since we would not have been able to drive on it for 7 days. As it was, the concrete was able to set while we were away. I've seen lower prices advertised via inserts in our mailbox, etc. but we went w/ Randy based on his ability to accommodate our schedule, good reviews from others, etc. All in all, a great experience.

Randy did exactly what he said he would do at the time of the bid, for the price he estimated. Fair, professional and a nice guy to work with was a bonus.

Positive experience overall. I have dealt with Randy before on another project. Communication is excellent. Scheduling is timely. Workmanship is very good.

They were flexible. Came when they said they would come. Finished before they thought, cleaned up completely, and explained very clearly what they were doing.

I felt that this company was very honest in telling me that they couldn't do the work because there concrete wouldn't match. They also gave me info on what company to call to get the job done right.
