ERIC'S HANDYMAN SERVICE

He was responsive before we started, prompt and efficient while doing the work, and reasonably priced. He did a great job and we would use him again.

I hired Eric on a time/material basis to replace a service door on my brother-in-laws garage. He came when scheduled. It was not a perfect situation by far, opening was no where close to square, house siding extremely thick, cold day, etc. But Eric had all the tools needed and patience and expertise to do the job. I would have done myself in the past, but wanted someone with hopefully more experience than I in case something went wrong. I was not disappointed by choosing Eric. He worked steady, not fast. It took a total of 6 hours, but the results were fantastic. The outside of the home where the frame meets the 1" siding that was not square when he started. When he finished it looked like an experienced cabinetmaker had done the work. An extremely well done retrofit by a "handyman". A tight seal all around the door and he cleaned up the area and hauled the old material and door away. In review, he was expensive per hour, but the work was exceptional. Would definitely hire Eric again if I ever need work done on my own home that I do not want to tackle myself. Thanks Eric!!

I called Eric after seeing he had excellent reviews on Angie's List. He promptly returned my call, got in touch with my neighbors to schedule repairs, and according to them, did a beautiful job. They showed me his work and it was flawless. Very professionally done. I won't hesitate to call him again when I need a handyman.

Everything went fine. Eric came three times, once for an assessment, returned to fix broken plaster, a third time to replace damaged facia.

He came gave and estimate, set day and time, arrived on day and did the job. All went well.

Eric is very reliable, trustworthy, professional, efficient, immaculate, and very knowledgeable. I feel very fortunate to have found such a competent handyman!

It went very well. It was excellent and he is meticulous.

We usually have him come in every 6 months because he is highly reliable and his handyman work is great. We usually call him a week or two in advance and let him know how many items we have on our list, then he does a great job of scheduling us at a time that is mutually convenient.

Eric arrived right on time and we discussed tasks to be done and he set right to work. I needed to leave mid-morning for a funeral and was concerned he would not finish his work, but he assured me he would leave the outside work til last and I could leave when I needed to. I trusted him to do the work and would have had no problem leaving. As it turned out, I was still at home when he finished. All work was done in an expeditious manner and price so reasonable for work done. I am a widow and would definitely call Eric again. He is my "go to guy" for handyman services.

Eric is a very professional worker who is competent, immaculate and efficient. He gets the job done perfectly without wasting any time. I had a major problem that someone else could not fix and Eric devised solutions and got the work done quickly. I felt his charges were extremely low for the amount of work he did and the time he spent doing it. I will always use him in the future, and I highly recommend him.

He is very competent. The sink started leaking so he came out and repaired it but then the other side started leaking which told me that it was a problem with the equipment. He didn't charge me the first time but then he charged a minimal price to repair it the second time. I think that was very fair.

The bottom line is that Eric is very good. He knows how to tackle seemingly difficult tasks and brings with him what he needs to get the job done and done right. How busy a contractor is is a great indication of how good they are. Plan ahead, Eric is very busy.

He told me that, as a one-man operation, he was uninterested in providing an estimate on a job he would not be hired to do -- sort of a "if I enter your home, then it's only to do the job" type of attitude. He specifically said he was not interested in a job that I was also going to get 1-2 other handymen to look at completing. While I can understand his apparent time constraints, I wonder if the word-of-mouth business is that good. My previous experience tells me that the lowest cost professional is not necessarily the best one. For my purpose, his visit would have essentially allowed me to determine if I were comfortable entering into a business relationship with him. I can emphatically state that I am not.

Eric was very professional, punctual and efficient. All work was of high quality. Eric kept the work site immaculate.

This was a small job to replace a defective siding panel but I had no extra siding available. Eric indicated that he was booked for a month but that he would stop by and take a look and let me know when he could fit it in. He did just that. Of the several companies that I called he was the only one responsive enough to actually look for and locate a possible replacement siding. He did a great job with the actual siding replacement. He was also very knowledgeable about general repairs and offered great advice on other repair activities. I would definitely use Erik again.

Everything he did was good, although we had to give him some advice on how to fix things. We were happy with his work, although my husband thought it was a little high for what he did.

This is the second time Eric completed some work for us. As usual, he was honest, professional, and easy to work with. Eric was extremely busy when I called to set-up a time but was able to fit us in. He communicated well in advance of any schedule changes. He completed the work efficiently and made sure everything was completed. I would highly recommend Eric!

Eric initially didn't think he'd have time to fix our leaking bathtub drain. He said he'd come over to give us an estimate and a date he could complete the work. When he showed up, he was polite and professional; we immediately felt comfortable with him in our house. He looked at our drain and surprised us by saying he had the needed part in his van. Thirty minutes later we had a new tub drain and he also cleaned out a clogged drain. He was so good we asked him to come back and help us with some exterior house repairs. As he was getting ready to leave, a dog we were babysitting escaped our house due to my own error. The dog ran down the street several blocks away. Seriously, this dog should be called Houdini. A few minutes later Eric calls us and says he found the dog and would wait for us to come get it. We were very appreciative of this.

The work went excellent. He seemed and was very honest. He was very flexible and willing to work with whatever we wanted to do. I would recommend them.
