+ -1 moreHe was booked out about a month but he came on the exact date he said he would and was very professional and on time. We hadn't purchased enough of the flooring so he even stopped at Home Depot to get a second batch of it. We'll be having him back soon to do a few more odds and ends around the house. A+++!
Description of Work: Eric helped finish off a breezeway we had started by a friend. He sanded the mud that was already on the walls and did a second layer and sanded it again. He patched some areas in the ceiling that were still exposed and laid down some laminate flooring.

+ -1 moreEric was happy to do every job I asked of him, from disposing of old mattresses at the dump to replacing ceiling panels in a dropped ceiling in the basement. He installed a disposal in the kitchen sink, caulked the bathroom, and put a heavy door back on its hinges. I could not recommend him more highly.

Eric was helpful in determining the degree of importance so we could discuss how we wanted the issue repaired. The painting and ceiling work was fantastic. I had Eric fix a bad paint job that someone else had done. We were very happy.
Description of Work: Eric changed out our lighting, painted ceiling and walls, painted cupboards, and other miscellaneous fixes to prepare our house to be sold. We were very successful with our sale and very happy with his work. I plan to have Eric do work in our current home.

He's also given me some good referrals. He's our go to person when we need small home repairs. His timeline for scheduling is reasonable as well.

Eric arrived and we reviewed the work to be done. I had added one project since Eric first visited my home; I had acquired the material. Eric did all the work to my expectations. Eric was always on time.
Description of Work: Installed window trim around six windows. Installed section of base trim that was missing. Installed sheetrock around a new window; applied first 2 coats of "mud". Installed removable cover for water meter cabinet.

+ 0 moreWe needed some light plumbing done in our basement. Eric saved us a bunch of money in comparisons with estimate we got from a large pluming company. Also, Eric thought out of the box to come up with solutions that actually saved us money in opposed to just doing what I asked him to. (He repaired a couple valves rather than replacing them, which I thought that needed to be done). He also suggested to use a lint catcher in our laundry tub which will prevent issues down the road. I didn't know something like this was necessary. I will definitely consider Eric again if I need other handyman services. The only unfortunate thing was that I had to make an appointment about 3 weeks ahead in order to get Eric. (He must have alot of customers)
Description of Work: Replaced 2 silcocks, one of which was a bit difficult because of the placement in a thick wall. Repaired 2 bad valves.

Description of Work: We needed someone to do some basic woodwork around our back door. I don't know anything about carpentry so I also needed someone to give us advice on what did and didn't need to be done. Eric dropped by, explained our options, told us what he thought were the best ones, and gave us an estimate of how long it would take. He bought the wood and other materials needed, showed up at our house on time, did a great job, and was very polite. Total bill: $203. My wife and I are already making a list of several more projects we plan to have Eric do.

+ -1 moreMy experience with Eric was great from start to finish. He was clearly careful, thoughtful, and punctual, and did very high quality work. I have a few projects that I have considered in the year or two since, and although I have not decided to tackle those yet, Eric always pops into my mind when I think of having some work done around my house. I have full confidence in both his honesty and quality workmanship. I would highly recommend Eric for any handyman task you need done.
Description of Work: I had water damage in my front entryway closet, from problems with the gutter and gutter intersection above. At the time, I was unaware of where the water was coming from, and thought that it may have resulted from wet shoes and boots being thrown in the closet with snow on them. I wanted Eric to tear out the damaged plaster, fix the rotten studs, and close it in with replacement plaster.

Description of Work: Removed old ceiling fan and installed my new one. Switch installed to replace old dimmer. Also hung new drape rods in same room. He had to climb into attic and a lot of insulation to update the box holding wiring, but was neat and great about it. That also required a quick hardware run.

+ 4 moreNeeded multiple repairs and updating in home to prepare for the sale of our house this Summer 2012. Eric charges per hour. He was very accommodating with dates and times. All of his work is completed efficiently and professionally. He shopped for and provided many of the repair items needed, especially the siding repair. He found almost a perfect match to our older current siding color. Eric is very honest and tries to save you money, but does not skimp on workmanship. He returned to our home three different requested times , we continue to find more work for him. He completes work in the estimated number of hours needed per job. I would highly recommend this very talented Handyman.
