ERIC'S HANDYMAN SERVICE

We purchased our home in May and have a lot of tasks around the home that we needed help with. Eric spent a day at our house fixing lots of things (big and small). He adjusted / fixed doors that weren't closing properly, a ventilation fan in our bathroom that fell into the attic, molding that had separated from the wall, skylight that was leaking, a few windows sills that were rotting, etc. He fixes things really well; he is phenomenal at what he does. He does a really great job keeping the integrity of the home (for example, when he shaved down a door that was sticking, he shaves on the back side (hinge side) so that it's not visible to the homeowner. We will use him again and are already looking for dates in the Winter/Spring to have him come back for another day as my list of fix-it tasks grows.

I spoke to him and he was responsive but I didn't hire him because I haven't decided to do the work as yet. I think he was good, he was responsive, I sent him and text and he got back to me. I got a little 2 year old that destroys everything so I'm just going to wait until he gets a little older so he doesn't tear the screen off the door again. I was asking him about fixing it but the estimate was to replace the whole door frame so I would have to order the screen and he would install it so I think it was $250 for the labor.

Always does what he says he'll do. He's prompt and does a good job. If there's a problem he gets right back to fix it.

He is very competent. He came out and told me he couldn't do it and it won't do me any good to do it anyway. And then he referred me to another carpenter that could do another project.

I called Eric while out of town because I wanted part of the roof raked or shoveled after a snowstorm this winter. I had never met him before so it was kind of a cold call on my part. I find him very easy to work with, including remotely. He went to the house when he said he would and he texted me a picture to make sure that he was working on the correct area of the roof. I called him a second time a few weeks later to do the same thing and we had to negotiate a date and time - he was super busy but offered me a few options a week out. I liked the way he communicated during that process. He then called me to tell me he would need to postpone, but he did it several days beforehand and I was OK with the delay - again, the way he communicated made all the difference. I've since met him in person and he is getting ready to do some work inside the house. He comes across as very knowledgeable and very thoughtful about his work, and I like the way he consults me about options available.

Eric is fantastic, everything went very well. He pays attention to detail and is very meticulous. When the framing for the new front door did not fit he rebuilt it completely from the materials at hand and did a beautiful job.

Ended up with a bigger job than thought. Everything corroded and difficult to repair, so new mechanism put in. .More expensive than estimated. Would have checked around more.

We had used him before for general handyman work and knew that he would do quality work for a reasonable price. Because he does good work, he's often booked a month or two out but he's worth waiting for if you don't need the work done immediately. He assessed the situation with the bathroom door and gave us a couple of options to try to resolve the issue. We were happy with the results.

Eric did a great job. He repaired everything promptly and within his estimates. Everything was cleaned up as though he wasn't there. Would recommend.

Eric answered my call right away and he was very prompt with all future correspondence which was primarily email. He came over before the day scheduled to review our needs and he made very helpful suggestions which were thoughtful and reasonable and price concious. Some things he suggested we do in a a less expensive way, some things he suggested we do a more thorough / definitive repair that was slightly more expensive but made more sense. He is very busy so we had to schedule the work out a couple months (which was fine with us ) and he arrived on time on the scheduled day, he was polite, professional, pleasant to have in our home, very trustworthy, made an adjustment in one project when there appeared to all of us to be a better way ( and he didn't get frustrated by that adjustment at all). At the end, he provided us with a hand written detailed bill including hours and materials. I would definitely use him again and I emailed his name and info to my local neighbors so they can use him too!

He charged by the hour, he was here for a couple of hours and his price was reasonable. He's good.

It went perfectly. I told Eric what was happening. He grabbed a ladder to assess the situation and made the repair. He showed me what he found and what he did to correct the problem. Just as in all prior jobs, Eric is responsive, punctual, professional, and honest.

The finished result was perfect! No one would ever know there had been a problem. Eric responded quickly to my phone call, showed up on time for our work appointment on both days, and professionally conducted all the work beautifully, and at a decent price. I was very happy with his service and I will call him again in the future.

Great job as always! Eric has helped us out many times. He is prompt, thorough, and knowledgable. He made some suggestions for better ways to put up the ceiling tile and vent, and then carried them out

Eric has performed services for me previously and never disappoints! Personable, ethical and accountable. He delivers as he promises and drives to complete to the home owners satisfaction. He asks questions to ensure he fully understands one's needs and then is very direct in advising the homeowner on "a more reasonable option". Eric is so great, that I find myself using him as the gold standard for all.

Eric did an outstanding job. The work was flawless. He is completely trustworthy and the price was very fair. We will, and have, used him for additional projects since. I can not recommend him highly enough.

Excellent as always. I called Eric last week and arranged a date within 5 working days. He arrived on time, completed the tasks with explanations, and cleaned up after tasks were complete.

Eric did an excellent job. He gave us an estimate and a time of service. He arrived on time on the days he had planned and did all the work in the time he promised and for the price he quoted. He was very accommodating to our schedules and was more than happy to spend time with us going through our options and explaining how best to accomplish our goals. We already have some future projects lined up in which we plan to use Eric to complete.

I would use his services again every time I need handy services. I live in a 53 unit condo and am going to highly recommend him to my homeowners association and to my neighbors. The appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM and he arrived at 12:55-PM. Eric installed 5 new smoke alarms, fixed and adjusted some kitchen and bathroom cabinets, fixed some shelves in the kitchen, and caulked 4 window sills; all in an hour in a half. He went from one job to another and got the jobs done in a timely manner.
