ERIC'S HANDYMAN SERVICE

Description of Work: Eric performed various repairs: installed backflow preventers, did some toilet repair, sink drain plumbing, installed a smoke alarm, installed drywall, checked an electric panel, installed a CO detector, repaired a towel rack in the bathroom, cleaned a couple of bathroom vents. 4-6 hours total work.

Description of Work: Removed old Bathroom vanity and bathroom mirror. Cut a small piece of mold of the drywall in the bathroom and repaired drywall. Installed new bathroom vanity base and vanity top. Installed new faucet and mirror. Also patched up and painted areas that the new vanity didn't cover up.

Description of Work: Eric completed a list of projects to correct issues identified with a Home Inspection Report. The list included minor electrical work, toilet replacement, exterior maintenance, and plumbing repair.

Description of Work: Eric handled a number of jobs around my condo including working on the interior doors so they'd close better, fixing a problem with the fan above my electric range, putting in a new threshold for the door to my deck (which was letting moisture in, causing damage to my carpet) and several other small projects.

Description of Work: Eric's Handyman Service installed a door. I've used them a couple of times for door installation.

Description of Work: Eric repaired a dozen different things - a toilet flusher, several electrical and lighting malfunctions, carpentry matters. He did them all extremely efficiently and well.

Description of Work: Eric re-plastered several areas on the livingroom wall where water had infiltrated. He also diagnosed two other problems with the wall in the attic, discovering possible water infiltration points.

Description of Work: Eric removed an outdoor antenna that was mounted on the roof of our rambler. He also patched the roof.

Description of Work: Eric has done outdoor uplighting for my friend and a variety of jobs in my house including repair of damaged kitchen ceiling, installation of new door locks, fixing damage to storm door, fixing various cabinets in kitchen, making an access spot in spare bedroom for the bathroom next door, etc. The price is for all of the work, which occurred over the course of 2010.

Description of Work: Eric arrived on time with his tools, ready to work. The job ws to install two wall-mount microwaves, one in the kitchen upstairs and one in the basement. He wound up installing only one as there needs to be a small cabinet put in to which the microwave will be bolted in the basement.

Description of Work: I purchased my house in May and the previous owner installed a satellite dish on the roof. This concerned me because I was worried about water damage as a result of hole in my roof. In order to protect my roof from the elements, I elected to call Eric and have him remove the dish and repair the hole left behind.

Description of Work: Eric has provided multiple home and yard services in our home, big and small. Eric completes an A+ job on everything he does. He has experience on a broad range of projects and is very efficient and tidy. He gets on with the jobs without fuss and minimal disruption to the home. Eric is very pleasant to work with, flexible and extremely courteous. He charges a very fair rate for his work. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone who needs a hand with projects at home, large or small.

Description of Work: Cut and attached wall base trim in my basement, finished and framed my two basement windows which required him to drywall both spaces, took out my old laundry tub and attached new laundry tub.

Description of Work: Reconnect and replace valve on fridge water line, fix garbage disposal, fix garage door opener, caulk around home, repair loose and broken panels in cedar closet and replace shelves.

Description of Work: He replaced rotted fascia and installed drip edge along entire front of house. He bought the lumber, painted it to match with our paint. It looks great.

Description of Work: Replaced rotting soffit and fascia. Removed and replaced gutter and cut a metal strip to fill in an unprotected area. Braced up basement stairs with framing lumber.

Description of Work: I had an emergency kitchen sink plumbing problem: clogged pipes, and leaking faucet and pipe. When I called Eric I fully expected he would come out in a day or two, but he handled the emergency as his last job of the day. He worked professionally and even though the job turned out to be more than I had anticipated, he stayed to quoted price. I would defnitely hire Eric for more handyman jobs. Next time I call him, I will have list of jobs that need doing. He handled this emergency so well and in such a timely manner, that he is definitely what one wants in a "handyman". Description of Work: various light electrical, plumbing and handyman services

Description of Work: Installed a range hood which included removing a builtin microwave and enlarging an outside vent to accomodate the hood. Also changed out a circuit breaker to the correct size for the hood. Took the microwave to a recycle center for proper disposal.

Description of Work: I had Eric remove an old service door and install a new one on my detached garage.

Description of Work: Eric stayed for two hours (his minimum charge is for 2 hours--$55 each hour) at my house and did the following: put up a window box on a second story window (he brought his own ladder), did minor work on the stack coming off of my furnace (it needed just a few nails and a little caulk) and then replaced two light figures in my kitchen.

Description of Work: Installed about 6 light fixtures, hung shelf, removed electrical outlet, installed a dimmer switch, fixed two ceiling fans, adjusted spacers on garage door, installed fixtures in bathroom, etc.

Description of Work: The amount spent included a new screen door, fiberglass ladder, etc. He also removed the old screen door, hung the new one, and perfectly matched the color. He unclogged a shower-head in one bathroom, installed a new shower-head and flexible hose in one bathroom, and installed a new shower-head in a third bathroom. He also fixed many doors that were loose or not closing properly, caulked one bath, and installed many bulbs in various hard-to-reach fixtures around the house. He also identified and found the correct door grid pins for the front door grids and then installed them.

Description of Work: I hired Eric to help me install Kitchen cabinets in an apartment that I had recently purchased but not seen. This job entailed removing old cabinets which were huge. Remove old paneling and popcorn ceiling. Repair plaster walls and paint. Plumbing included putting in a refrigerator line as well as electrical work. The job turned out to be much bigger than originally thought due to the status of the walls and floor after cabinet removal. I had hired Eric for a total of 16 hours initially based on what I thought was needed but that was woefully inadequate as the work unfolded. Even though it was his busy season he worked extra hours and Saturday to help me out. He brought in a well qualified assistant when even that was not enough. Eric did the work beautifully and quickly and to my complete satisfaction. When he was done the kitchen was ready for cabinet installation. Even though he had put in way more hours than planned there were still lots to do. Eric found me a qualified carpenter to finish the job as Eric had other commitments and had gone well above and beyond. He was always there on time picked up whatever material was needed and cleaned up. I highly recommend this man for his skill, patience and professionalism.
