When we requested basic information from Enhanced Home Systems about billing, the representative actually stated ?I have better things to do.? We continue to wait for the requested information, and we have taken our business elsewhere and have been very happy with both the quality of the work and the manner in which we have been treated. If you want a world-class experience for one of the most important investments you will make, I would stay away from this company.
Description of Work: If the goal is a premium product with quality customer service, Enhanced Home Systems is not the choice for you. While the company is generally able to provide technology at a standard price, the quality of the customer service falls far short of what one would expect for projects costing well into five figures.

When they were here they seemed to do a good job. Every company that does quotes for business stands behind their quote. I don't understand how they can keep increasing their quotes and never stand behind the original quote. They have decided not to charge us for the $1107.67 for work that was completed in October 2012. We are happy with the outcome.
Description of Work: Install security system, extensive wiring to TV over a fireplace on a new townhouse. 1st quote was $8500.00. After the work was started they said they made a mistake and we owed another $4596.96 for a total of $13096.96. Last week we get another bill, 5 months after work was completed for $1107.67. We have called the company 4 times in less than a week and no one will return our calls. They said the $1107.67 that we owe they had a verbal authorization. From who?

I'm glad your were happy with the outcome. As I mentioned on the phone with you, Enhanced has a team approach to projects from sales, design, installation, and service. The sales portion of your project was not properly dialed in with your project and thus created the issue. We have worked with the new sales man to correct this issue moving forward.

Would never recommend for anything.
Description of Work: asked for a quote on setting up 4 tvs and sound system. After several calls they came out and said they would give a quote in a few days. Never heard back and they never returned calls. Very unprofessional.

Description of Work: Just bought a house. They installed the original system. Took all day hook the system up with our new directv unit. Guy said because he wasn't the original installer he had to figure it out as he went along. Asked him to install a wireless router in the master bed. He installed it directly under our 3-year-old's toddler bed ( which we discovered later that night. ) as he was rushing out the door to get to another appointment, we noticed a clicking sound coming from the back of the TV. We told him about it. He spent 30 seconds behind the TV, said ( there, hat should do it, then left. It's still clicking. Worst AV experience I've ever had.

Hi [member name removed], Sorry your experience with Enhanced was less then great. We strive to work toward customer satisfaction. We have performed thousands of high end installs for the past 23 years. We keep records on file of systems we have installed, etc. However, our installers can't know everything about every job, and some reacquainting with a project and the product installed does need to occur. Clients typically don’t understand the complexities of the AV world these days. For example, although it seems simple, Satellite and Cable TV boxes can take hours to install/activate. Regarding the Router, I can’t say why the tech placed it under the bed, accept for thinking this was the best coverage location. I do know that setting up a router can also take some time. Again, sorry your experience was less then great.

Our experience with them has been very good. They do have a trip charge, which I know a lot of electricians do. But then when the techs come they are so knowledgeable that it is worth the price.
Description of Work: They came out and corrected the mistakes that another company made while installing our home entertainment system.

We try to make our customers aware of the trip charge before coming out-as well as the hourly charge so they are aware of it before they even want us to come out.
