Description of Work: After years of mediocre service from a better known and well-established vendor in Bloomington, I feel blessed to have found these guys. I had to replace a furnace/ac system at a huge expense, for what had been a defective product that my previous vendor was less than forthcoming about. Scott presented a solution that was superior to what we'd had earlier and at a far more reasonable price than the incumbent presented. The installation and follow-up were very professional. I call them for checkups now too and they are very reasonable.

Description of Work: I purchased their entire heating & A/C system, and they were just fantastic in the way they handled it all. They even did the paperwork for rebates, etc. When the City Inspector saw that they installed it, he said, "I don't even have to inspect it - - they're the best" This organization really knows how to take care of a customer!

Description of Work: I had my furnace and AC replaced. They work great now. The owner came out to give the estimate. I had 4 other companies do the same. They are cheapest after rebate. Not the cheapest before rebate. Owner is very knowledgeable. Everything was done in one day. Wiring is great, city approved the work right away. Very happy with it.

Description of Work: I purchased a complete system from Bloomington Heating in July 2010, see my report and it was an exceptionally good experience. I have not had the Carrier 100 BTU for about 17 months and it has run like a fine clock. Quiet, new zoning and a new thermostat and new air returns. Anyway, Scott told me he would do a follow up about one year after I purchased the system without charge and he said the unit looks in perfect shape. I've saved money with this new high efficiency unit, with the variable fan that is always running. i change the big honey well air filter now and the environment feels so fresh. I also had a honeywell humidifer installed from another contractor before Scott installed the Trane 100 BTU, and this adds much needed humidity during the dry winter months and it makes big difference. My old high school buddy is one of the city inspectors and I asked him for a few recommendations of reliable contractors and Scott Newgard of Bloomington Heating and Cooling was top on the list and I can see why. Very personable, reasonable (I checked with four other dealers) and punctional. Feel free to look at my July 2010 report, if you want but it is just a much more in depth report. Hire the firm with confidence. they exceeded my expectations.

Description of Work: We had them come put to recharge our A/C unit. The cost ws less than anticipated which is always a lovely surprise! They were courteous, prompt and economical. We will definately use them again.
