The window install process went very well. The Apex representative came to my door. He answered questions and gave me the information I asked for. This wasn’t a hard sell. I set up an appointment for a window measure and it went well. On the day of the install, there enough workers to do the install in one day. The workers were very efficient and did a great job. This was great to have the project completed in one day and I didn’t need to take extra time off work. I loved that I could have the window exteriors white and the interior as a very authentic wood. Looks great.

Installation went well. The installers worked through cold and snow to get the project done in two days. The windows look great and I'm very satisfied with the product. The new windows are triple pane vs double pane for the old ones. I used an infrared laser thermometer to do a before and after comparison of how well the windows keep out the cold. With the thermometer aimed at the inside of the windows the new windows were about 15 degrees warmer than the old ones. The measurements were done at -3 degrees and at +20 degrees. The new windows work well in cold and hot weather. They keep a tight seal, open easily and close easily at -3 degrees and at +88 degrees.

Great! Good windows, very fair pricing, good service. Lifetime guarantee. We got a sliding glass door and replaced about 5 larger windows throughout the house. I will be coming back for more.

Apex is a great company! We spent plenty of time researching Apex as well and other common window companies and here is why we chose Apex and a little about our experience working with them: 1: The Insignia windows are excellent: triple pane, argon filled, and created with materials designed to withstand harsh climate changes! 2: Customer service! From the initial exploration and sales process with Adam, to the measure with Eric, and the install with Ron, we experienced excellent communication, a team that was really willing to help us figure out what would work best for our house, and also people who clearly are invested in what they do each day. This team was willing to go the extra mile to make sure our windows work best for us and our house, which is a tough job when the window frames, and house, are not level to start with! They had awesome design ideas and helped maintain the historic architecture of the house! 3: Warranty! The work and the product are warrantied for much longer than some of the other common window brands. A company that is willing to stand behind their product and their work for many years, with a transferrable warranty, believes in both the quality of the work and the product and are invested in making sure it lives up to expectation.

Overall we are very happy with our new windows. Can't beat the price for the quality product that you get, but we did have some issues during the install. The window jamb in our basement wasn't measured correctly during the initial measurement and therefore was ordered in the wrong size. We were told it would be about a week to get the new jamb in and installed. Our project began mid-October and the new part wasn't installed until after Thanksgiving which caused some issues for company that we had in town. Once the new piece came in they were scheduled out 2 weeks and couldn't squeeze us in sooner to finish our project. I took the day off of work to be home to let someone in and at 9:30am before a 10:00am appointment was called to say that they weren't coming. The casings/jambs also don't seem to be very high quality. We had one piece replaced during install because the nail gun cracked the wood and I had a jamb split on me when I was installing shades (after pre-drilling the holes). Another issue that is ongoing is that the nail holes on just about all of our casings are visible from across the room and many aren't entirely filled. The fill for the nail holes looks gray like the fill was either the wrong color or the installers hands were dirty when filling the holes. I met with Matt the owner and discussed our frustrations over these two issues. Was told that we would get paint that matches our trim to make the holes less visible, but haven't received yet. I'm also not too keen about having to touch up a job that I paid someone else to do.

Beautiful windows. Exceeded our expectations. Quality and value of our house greatly improved. Exceptional customer service. Professional, hard working, efficient and thorough installers. Couldn't be more pleased!

The fact they were pitching me vinyl windows and using Pella and Anderson higher end product to price against made the entire pitch a joke. They should have priced at a min. the Anderson 100 series, but were trying to quote Anderson Renewal, which is not vinyl. They price we ended up getting was the same price we got from Anderson Renewal. We didn't end up going with either Anderson or Apex - we went with a different Vinyl, with a better warranty and $40% cheaper.

Great installers . 6 windows in 6 hours. They took the time to explain how to open and clean the windows. They cleaned up nice before they left. I'm super happy with my windows.

I would never do business with a company that doesn't respect the law or people's privacy. Go somewhere else.

There were a few hiccups with the installation of our windows; however, the company went above and beyond in correcting the issues and making sure we were happy with our new windows.

) 1) they custom produced windows to replace existing windows. 2) The new windows are Energy Star rated and matched the existing woodwork; 3) The installation was done in a very professional manner (I was impressed with their care and professionalism). 4) The work was done in the agreed time frame.

Their price was reasonable for the quality of the windows. They were pretty quick and the installers were out here right on time every time.

The people were wonderful to work with from Tracy to Robert and crew. Punctual, fair, worked with some obvious problems and corrected them without me prompting them.

We are very happy with the product and would (and have) recommend this company to others.

In hindsight, they use high-pressure sales tactics and tell you they are looking for spec homes to give a great deal too. Well, after they intalled our windows, the neighborhood never saw them again. We were not a spec home. We needed replacement windows and decided on APEX Energy Solutions. We signed our agreement in July. The windows weren't ordered until August after multiple phone calls to the company. Then were were told some of our windows could not be engineered so they offered us a lower quality window for the same price. After phone calls and face-to-face interactions, they did engineer us the windows we ordered and paid for. It's now October. They kept telling us they were waiting on one more window before the installers would come out. The installation started in December. We came home after all the outside wraps were complete...and they were the wrong color. Two windows broke in transit, so the installers came back mid-January to replace those and replace all the wraps. Six plus months it took and over 25 phone calls to APEX, including conversations with the owner. In the end, they gave us a sheet to refer our friends.

the project went very well. All the window measurements were accurate and the windows arrived as scheduled and the installation was completed in two days. The staining and varnishing went as planned. The crews were very careful and cleaned up completely every day.

They were outstanding.
