Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors

I was very happy with the work. I needed a new roof because the old shingles were wearing out and a water leak had already begun. I picked Wright-At-Home over several competing bids because their price was the best and they had strong reviews on this site. I was also impressed with their planning. They made some suggestions to improve ventilation in my attic. They also noted an area where I needed extended ice and water sheeting over the front stoop. They were also able to handle connecting the kitchen exhaust fan to vent through the roof instead of into the attic as it had previously. The crew worked hard and finished the job in one day. They cleaned up very thoroughly and I didn't find any nails in the yard. The new roof looks great! I was very happy with the service overall.

They don't work on steep roofs so don't call this company if that's what you need.

After researching 3 different roofing companies, we decided to go with Wright At Home due to the excellent reviews. We are definitely glad that we made the right choice. They use top materials - Timberline or Owens Corning. Excellent communication throughout the project. If we had any questions, they were address right away. The on-site crew worked efficiently. We have a really steep roof and is 3 stories tall at the back. They brought in an extra team and was able to turn the 3 day job into 2 days, in which we were thankful to have our driveway back. They cleaned up all the materials and even put my potted plants to exactly where they were before. They used tarp to cover our deck, driveway, walkways, and landscaping. We love the look of our new roof!

Great. Phil was on time & explained the process, he even helped me w/the removal of my glass door so I could add the summer screen. The work was done well. There was a mistake with a light that he fixed right away.

Very well. The crew showed up early around 6:30am. They worked throughout the day, even in one of the hottest days of the year, with a 110 degree heat index. They removed the existing shingles without creating a mess, and were very careful not to damage any of our plants under the overhang of the house. They finished around 4:30pm, and the entire crew walked through the yard to pick up any debris and nails that were missed, and they even used a magnetic roller. Overall very pleased, and the sales people and project managers were great to work with. Phil was our sales guy, and did a great job listening to what our needs were without pushing product right away. Nick was our project manager, and one of the family members, also very good. The owner was also helping to start the project and he walked me through what they were doing and what the roof looked like under the shingles.

All the work went smoothly. It was well coordinated so that the entire job was done in just two days (not counting the advance delivery of materials for the job). Crews cleaned up everything each day. I would hire again and have recommended to a couple of friends. This company is not the cheapest, but well worth the money for the professionalism and freedom from worries, hassles, and shoddy workmanship. The gutters were done by a subcontractor but kept to the same standards.

I recently purchased a house to remodel and "flip". The house was in poor condition and needed a new roof, all new siding, and gutters. Wright-At-Home gave me the best price (out of 5 competing vendors) and got the job done. A few issues surfaced during the job : 1) A stubborn rain water issue was fixed, 2) An electrical short circuit, caused by the siding installation - which was remedied by Wright-At-Home having a licensed electrician troubleshoot and fix the problem, and 3) The drip edging (material between the roof and siding) was warping and mis-behaving, and they completely fixed that with no reservation. There were some changes along the way - modifying the type of siding from lap to shake and adding shutters - but they were all taken in stride with no additional charges. Any and all concerns or issues were addressed and fixed. The project was managed well. Wright-At-Home is a solid company that 100% stood behind their work. I would hire them again.

Complete satisfaction with Wrght-at-Home Services. Sales -Addison, on site managers -Bob and Nick, roofing crew chief- Raphael and his crew and office manager- Roxanne were all very professional and a pleasure to work with. The materials were delivered accurately and on time. Extreme care was taken to protect plantings and decks. Clean-up daily was complete and when job was finished a thorough job of cleaning was done. Addison and Roxanne worked diligently with our insurance company as well as with the materials manufacturer to facilitate the project. Wright-at- Home Services is a family run company so all facets of the project coordinated easily amongst division departments. I would heartily recommend this company and will certainly use them for any future projects that are needed.

Crew arrived exactly when they said they would.Worked very hard: amazed at the guy who stood on the dumpster heaving bundle after bundle of shingles to the guys on the roof. Guys appeared to take just one break. Great job & it looks great!

They were very professional and helpful when first meeting about plans. Worker were professional and did an excellent job installing roof-finished in one day. Roof looked great yard was clean. Gutters were installed wrong an one end but quickly fixed the next day.

Fantastic experience. Wright-at-Home got the job scheduled and completed quickly, and the finished product looks great and has performed flawlessly. They also dealt with all of the insurance claim details and got my claim fully approved and reimbursed. Phil, Roxanne, and all of the team members were exceptionally professional and courteous. I would definitely use them again and would refer them to others without hesitation.

I didn't know where to start for roofing companies so I research several sites and had five different quotes. I went with the best follow-up and reviews. Competitive pricing and quality workmanship. Roxanna kept me informed the whole time.

I got a response to my request right away and someone came out the next day. He was on-time, professional, and did a great job of explaining to me what was happening and that there really wasn't a problem that needed to be fixed. Provider was very responsive during entire process (from initial proposal, roof install, through final invoicing and approval). The employees were friendly, courteous, and ethical. I am very happy with the entire process.

I selected Wright -at-Home last year to replace my roof and gutters. This Spring I noticed some minor issues, so I called Bob and he responded immediately. Today Bob had his son and crew there to take care of everything. This is why you do business with a reputable company who has a long list of satisfied customers. Myself included! If your looking for a roof or roof repair this is the company you can trust.

We purchased our home in May of 2015, knowing that it had a roof that was 20+ years old. Through a coworker I got a referral for Wright-at-Home Services, and was put in contact with Addison. Addison agreed to meet me at the property and did a full quote for us, including new flashing, ice protection, shingles, roof vent, and gutters with leaf protection. He was very straight forward with his quoting and never pushed us or swayed us in terms of the pricing options. The price came in as expected for a full replacement, and the labor seemed fair for the amount of work needed. We agreed upon the price and a few weeks later signed the contract for the work to be done. Unfortunately for us, before the roofing and gutter work could start we needed the trees and branches around the roof trimmed. This turned into a significant delay as the earliest we could trim them was October. Even with a 5 month delay, Addison was very patient with us and was very accommodating as we found a tree trimming service. He was always available for questions we had and worked hard to make sure the roof was scheduled right after our tree trimming was done. Once the trees were trimmed, the roofing commenced. The roof was done on time and without any incidents. The Wright-at-Home crew cleaned up after themselves and showed a sense of professionalism during the 3 day job. The gutters and leaf guards were done by a different contractor, but they called a few days after the roof was done and completed them in a day. They even fixed a small section of rotting fascia board on the garage free of charge before the gutters were installed. Overall, the roof looked fantastic, the flashing was installed in the right locations, and the gutters were working spectacularly. A week went by and I noticed that Wright-at-Home had forgotten to install the roof vent. I called up Addison to discuss this, and found out that through a mix up between the initial quote discussion we had and the contract we signed, the roof vent was not included in the work. Instead of asking for additional money to come back out and add the roof vent, Addison honored our initial quote discussion and had the roof vent installed free of charge. Through out the whole process, we were glad to have worked with someone who was professional and accommodating from the initial quote to the final product. Wright-at-Home Services did the work promptly and properly, and even came back to finish the job when there was a mix up. We are very satisfied with our new roof and gutters and have not seen any issues since it was installed in October.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I'd like to write one for Wright-at-Home (WAH), who has helped us with both roof leaks and replacing rotting siding. After some heavy rains we noticed some leaks in our roof (we had only been in the house a couple years at the time). We called a guy, who did some work on the exterior, mostly with caulk, that resulted in absolutely no benefit the next time we had a hard rain. So, I called up a bunch of roofers and they all came out to tell me all kinds of things. One even suggested I replace the entire roof (which was only installed about five years ago). Only Phil at WAH seemed to fully understand where the leaks were coming from and how to address them. He did the work himself for less than any of the other roofers had bid and we have had no further leaks. In a separate project we needed to replace about 1,800 linear feet of siding. WAH provided a very reasonable estimate and sent out an experienced crew to do the work (including replacing the siding on six dormers). After doing the first dormer the crew asked me to inspect their work. When I commented that I preferred that the smooth side of the rough cedar face outward instead of the rough side (which they had done), they were happy to redo that dormer and use the smooth side for all the remaining work. I really appreciated the crew's desire to ensure that I was informed and happy with the way they were doing (or going to do) the work. In short, I really don't think you could go wrong hiring Wright-at-Home for your roofing and siding projects. They're experienced, considerate, and reasonably priced.

We called on the company because our daughter had them do their roof several years before with good results. Mike came out and examined our roof and said he would come out again to meet with our insurance adjuster. Mike stopped by several times with single samples and ideas while we were planning on color etc. He was very helpful in removing some overhanging branches by getting up in the tree with his saw for no additional cost. There was no pressure on us by him or the company. Once we decided on a color and date, the appointment was quickly set up. The crew arrived as scheduled and did a fast and neat job within the day. They left a extra bundle of shingles per our request for patchwork in the future. Two neighbors and my brother-in-law had roofs replaced by Wright-at-Home around the same time on our recommendation. We were very pleased with our experience with the company. We appreciated they were a family-owned, local business with great reviews.

It went extremely well. We had a number of estimates from other vendors. Addison was very through and made sure he was quoting apples to apples to the other vendors. Some of the other salespeople were kind of cheesy and just wanted to get the "deal." Addison explained things but didn't abuse our time. He measured the house, the window and told us different types we could get. Then follow-up with an estimate. He was quick and easy to talk with. Then the work began and he followed up to make sure everything was going well. Along with the foreman of the job. The work was done very well and I was very pleased. We also had a window replaced. So they didn't do the area around the window until that was done. It was a custom window, so it took longer for the window to come in. Once the window came in they were back out the next day finishing the siding. The window was replaced quickly and well. They were even willing to put the blinds back on. I would definitely hire them again. The pricing was very fair. They were much less than Anderson windows on the window and comparing on consumer reports their window was considered even higher quality. The siding used was also rated very high. The price was lower than some estimate and really all because they included items that were not included in the other estimates I received. So apples to apples they were the best. Very professional, very punctual, and very easy to work with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

wah came on to the job midstream. this was a full restoration/repair job from a hail storm (may, 2015) in the area. the roof (house & garage), siding (aluminum), gutters/downspouts, shutters, screens, front door, deck, etc., were all damaged...per insurance. the company i originally hired was a problem (i'm being kind). the 2 roofs were completed first, and after the nightmare was over, i pink-slipped that company (referred to me by me insurance agent--eek), and searched angie's list!!! wright-at-home had great reviews, several were from people that had been in similar situations, the firing of another company midstream. without hesitation & looking no further, i contacted wah and explained what i was up against...they were out to my house the next day. and it was smooth sailing from the word go. the first thing that made me feel good about the company is the fact that it's "all in the family." mother, sons, brothers, uncle, nephews...they have a good, long-standing relationship with the workers/laborers that came each day. i got to know them (afterall, they are on your property, right out your front/back door EVERY DAY while the work is being done) and they were kind, respectful gentlemen. (one of my issues with the other company.) communication was frequent an on-going; i never felt as though i was annoying or being stupid. but high on the list of importance is the finished product!!! IT IS BEAUTIFUL!! just after the house was completed, we had a neighborhood meeting, and people were gushing at how great my house looks!!! i am super proud! and MORE THAN HAPPY to brag about the company who helped make it all happen: wright-at-home!

Let me start with I research all major home improvements quite extensively .I started in August and finally decided by end of Sept. to go with Wright. Product wise...The roof system is offered by many, but Mike sold me on the fact they are a LOCAL FAMILY owned business who use the same crew for roof jobs for the past 8 years!!! they don't sub- contract roofs.....JUST the GUTTERS. more on that later. Michael M is a GREAT salesperson, who believes in his product and business and was wonderfully responsive when I was drilling him about his business via email. We finally sealed a deal in late Sept.a...price wise they were in ball park of the other bids,..and in some cases considerably lower.. Again, it was how Mike talked about family business and how they stand behind their work. Once Mike sent me contract, Roxanne was in contact to set up a schedule and make sure that we prepped yard and driveway accordingly. Mike ran out a few times to measure gutters and drop off color samples. His customer service was wonderful. The crew was on time...and done in a day. Great group of guys who were easy to talk to...addressed my questions as I observed and clean up was wonderful. Nick and Mike were both out to check on their crew..check status etc. great follow up. WRIGHT at HOME....KUDOs....you made a roof job seem fairly seamless and affordable. I was so happy with my choice... Now..the gutters install....MID STATE SEAMLESS...not as pleasant. It started out nice, Zack came out and we walked around to discuss any possible change in layout. I am thinking...GREAT...he really knows his stuff and cares. we talked about schedule and seemed to be on same page since I was in no hurry and I travel a lot. I worked through Michael to set up schedule...so they would install when I was home. Didn't show up 1st time....I am mad, but understand that perhaps there was a communication issue. Sooo, I call Roxanne, she apologizes and we set up a new time. Again.I travel so we are talking a week later...its mid- October and rainy with no gutters. Install day and NO ONE shows for 2nd time. AAUUGGHHHH. Again, Roxanne deals with the problem and provides solution. I will give MID STATE a C rating...their work looks good and seems installed securely. Their customer service is NOT GOOD and clearly suffer some schedule issues. Sadly, they tainted an otherwise very pleasant experience with Wright. BUT..when I do siding..or other exterior proj.. I am calling tWRIGHT!!!!

I interviewed four companies, and their bid was right in the ballpark with others. They were very responsive to my questions before the work, and the work was done really well. All of the roofing for both home and garage was done in one day, as well as most of the clean-up. The crew came back the next morning to fine-tune the clean-up, which was done immaculately. Wright-at-Home really went the extra mile to do a great job - I highly recommend them!

Completed in one day. Excellent quality work. Good cleanup.

Addison came and inspected my roof upon my request. I elected to get a quote from Wright At Home Services because of their reviews on Angie's List. He let me know that the roof did not look bad but there was minimal damage to my roof from a hail storm this past summer. He suggested that I contact my insurance company and have their adjuster examine my roof. I called the insurance company and scheduled the adjuster to come out and survey my roof. I was quite surprised that he allowed for a full replacement of the roof. I contacted Addison and he promptly came over to our house and then took the information and sent us an estimate by email. Obviously, the estimate parroted the adjuster's estimate. I would have gone with Addison because of his counsel and he took the time to go up on my roof and physically examine it. However, I was also considering putting on a steel roof which I have done. Therefore, I decided to go with another contractor since Wright At Home Services does not put on steel roofs.
