Description of Work: This summer I had Wright-At-Home replace my roof after hail damage. I found them both by the GAF Website (looking for certified contractors) and here on Angie's List. I also saw that they were local to me and had a ton of great reviews. Those positive reviews are right on the mark from my standpoint. From beginning to end this was a great experience. The sales, project management, and office staff were easy to deal with; No pressure, no unwanted up-sells, very professional and very kind. (I did upgrade my shingles in the process, but I was the one who brought it up and they were happy to quote me a great price in making that happen.) What stood out the most was the team of laborers who came to replace the roof. They were excellent! So professional, quick, efficient, and skilled. José and his team were also very personable; They were happy to meet our dogs, they made little dogie paths so our pups could safely make trips outside during the day of construction. A great balance of acknowledging that people were home and getting the work done. They were right on time, they were careful, and they cleaned up after the job and left the place looking better than when they arrived. Seriously. They leaf blew my front steps and landscaping! Because of storms this June most of the houses in my neighborhood have new roofs, but mine probably looks the best thanks to a wonderful construction team, upgraded shingles, and great advice on what color would best match the siding and brickwork. If you need a new roof, absolutely stay away from the door knockers, stick with someone local, and definitely give Wright-At-Home a call.

Description of Work: They gave me an initial quote for my roof change. They promised me some inital numbers based on what I proceeded but later on they changed the price and said that they won't be able to do it with that price. Waste of time and lack of professionalism.

Description of Work: WRIGHT-AT-HOME SERVICES INC. were contacted to determine the cause of a suspicious-looking streak that had apparently recently developed on the living room ceiling of my home. Mr. Bob Wright examined the questionable area of the 25+ year-old roof, found a hole, and caulked it and other possible trouble spots. Although he stated that the old roof was probably "good" for a few more years, I decided not to "chance it" and had his company remove the old roofing and install a new roof (approximately 30 squares of shingles) on my residence. The work was done in one day by a crew of 3 plus one supervisor. I was amazed at the skill and speed of the one roofer (a 14 year employee of the company) whom I was able to watch up close. The crew did a wonderful job of protecting the gardens surrounding the home from mechanical damage and, at the end of a long hard day, did an amazingly thorough job of picking up all roofing debris. I am thoroughly happy with my home's new roof and would immediately turn to WRIGHT-AT-HOME if I were again in need of any of the services that the Wrights provide.

Description of Work: Bob came by and evaluated the damage to our siding. Unfortunately, he does not work with wood siding. However, he still took the time to explain the repairs that would be needed. We also have a hole that has resulted in water entering behind the siding and causing mold growth on our ceiling and behind wallpaper. Bob installed a temporary kick out diverter to prevent more water from getting in the hole (especially with the rainy weather we've been having). He installed it at no charge. He has a very nice disposition and I would definitely have selected him if we didn't have wood siding.

Description of Work: My aluminum fascia was peeling badly as a result of storm damage a few years back. The contractor who performed the original work refused to call me back. I looked on Angie's list and called Wright at Home. They called me back within one day and came out to give me an estimate the next day. The work was completed within 4 days at a very reaonable price. Aaron the installer was great! Called me with questions, sent a photo of completed work, followed up the next day, etc... It looks great and I would highly recommend this company to anyone that needs work done on their home!

Description of Work: The representative, Addison, met me on time at my house. He was very thorough and polite. The exterior of this house was in bad shape but he had ideas about how to correct every problem - for example, he knew how much slope was needed on gutters and suggested reducing the number of downspouts I had and putting them in better locations. I didn't feel pressured to buy expensive services or even hire his company at all, or to make up my mind on the spot. In the end I decided to go with painting instead of siding, but for what it's worth, Wright-at-Home Services made a good impression on me.

Description of Work: Lost a shingle from the wind. I believe it was the owner who came out a few days later. he replaced the shingle and did not charge me anything. he answered a few questions I had about my roof. I've dealt with this company before and it was the same great experience.

Description of Work: The sales consultant, Addison, came to our house on July 18 to determine whether we had roof damage from a hail storm last summer. He offered to come back the following Tues to meet with the insurance adjuster when he came to look at the possible damage. That Tues they both decided there was not enough damage to file a claim. Addison was very personable and professional. He offered his services in the future. We will definitely call him again if we ever need any kind of roof work.

Description of Work: I had a leaky kitchen vent. Project manager Nick came over and looked a it. He said the flashing was improperly installed. It took him about 1/2 hour to repair it. The repair was no charge. Nick explained that because I was delayed on my repair he said I didn't owe anything and he refused any payment. Very professional company and workman. He was identified with a marked truck and uniform shirt. I like that. So many companies spend money on advertising rather than just offering great customer service like this. I like their business model and will use them in the future for my roof work

Description of Work: I called to get an estimate for gutter repair. I was advised the company did not perform individual gutter repair unless it was in conjunction with a roofing or siding job. Then the woman I was speaking to (didn't catch her name) referred me to a person they use for gutter installation. She also spoke to me for a few minutes and gave me excellent advice regarding ice dams and maintaining a gutter system. Although they were unavailable for what I needed I appreciated being able to reach them right away as well as the referral and advice.
