Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors

We had a roof replaced as a result of hail damage. Our 1901 house is four-story and has a complicated roof line. Wright at Home replaced the roof in record time (four days!) and kept the work site clean. The quality of the work was far better in terms of neatness and finishing than the previous roofing work done by Sela.. I really appreciated the responsiveness of Levi Anderson, who was our contact at the company during the work. It seems like a minor thing, but for a homeowner, it's nice to know that if you call or email, you will get a quick response. I highly recommend Wright-at-Home to other homeowner for the most painless option for roofing. Not only does the company do great work, as evidenced by their consistently high grades on Angie's List, but they work with the insurance company to save the homeowner countless hours on the telephone.

We called Wright-At-Home Services for a small window project. Roxanne was extremely prompt in getting back to us regarding the project and informed us that they generally do windows in conjunction with siding and roofing. She very helpfully gave us the name and number of the subcontractor who does their windows for them so that we could call him directly and, in her words, "Save some money". Right away, I was extremely happy that her focus was on what was best for me and my family and not on selling us something no matter what. I called the subcontractor to have him come out and take a look at our project. He was extremely professional and spent a long time hanging around and answering our questions. While we have yet to get his estimate (he was just out last night) I did learn that Roxanne had contacted him directly (in addition to simply giving us his contact information) and made sure that he was aware we were trying to track him down. This made me extremely impressed by the lengths that Roxanne went to in order to make sure we were taken care of when in actuality, it didn't really benefit her at all (in the short run). Overall, I am extremely happy with the way that Wright-At-Home Services treated us and even though we are not having any work done through them at the moment, we will most definitely be looking their way when the inevitable siding/roofing projects come up in the future.

I contacted several roofing companies on Angie's List to provide an estimate for a new roof. While Wright-at-Home was a bit more expensive than some others, they were able to install the new roof in the time frame I needed. The communication was good, the estimate process was easy, and work was excellent. The project went well, and almost a year later the roof looks like it did the day it was installed. I would use Wright-at-Home again if the need comes up. When selecting a roofing company make sure to compare like products. We had several companies who came in with a lower bid, but once I looked at the shingle brand/type, the install method, and the warranty, I understood why they were cheaper.

The estimate, job and follow up were all handled very professionally. The cost estimate matched the final invoice exactly. The work crew was punctual and very professional as well. Their respect of our property and post job cleanup were excellent. I highly recommend this company and will use them again when needed!

My house had received some hail damage in a storm this spring. After contacting my insurance company, I called Wright at Home for an estimate. They agreed to meet with the insurance adjuster. They were very accommodating in their schedule and were able to meet with the adjuster without any delay. Addison (the Wright at Home representative) seemed very knowledgeable and was able to point out a couple of things that I think the adjuster would have missed. He also negotiated on my behalf for the most replacement. Once my insurance company had agreed to the damages, I went ahead and scheduled service. Despite the tornado that had occurred in the northern metro around that time, there was no delay in getting the job started. The roof was done in one day. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect going in, but I certainly thought it was going to take longer than that! After the roof was done, there was a bit of contention about how much the windows were going to cost. Again, Addison was able to put his industry knowledge to work and negotiate on my behalf. Once the insurance company agreed on what they'd pay, the order was put into to the window company. Once the windows came in, the installation again went flawlessly. I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I received from Wright at Home. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Right away when I spoke to Levi Anderson, representative of Wriht at Home services, I knew I was in good hands. He was very professional and straight to the point. He made me feel comfortable about the decision I had made, going with wright at home services for my repairs! He told me exactly what to expect in the following days so all of my questions were answered. Then an associate called me to schedule the appointment, the date was made, the crew came and completed the job in ONE day!!! The crew was also professional, respectful of my property, and clean! The next day the left over materials were picked up, along with the dumpster. And my yard was clean from all derby and in perfect condition!! Thank you, Wright at Home!!! You rock!!

A leak into a bathroom started during a storm. Since it was lightening when Bob arrived he could not get on the roof, but he was able to determine that the leak was internal to a fan vent and not causing problems in the attic or ceiling. On another visit Bob found the problem and repaired it. My gratitude for above and beyond service.

We were happy with all steps in the process. First , the sales rep, Phil was very helpful in assessing the damage and coming up with a detailed written proposal. He explained what he thought would be covered by insurance and discussed the options for us to upgrade in some areas. Then he worked directly with our insurance company to negotiate what was covered and the cost. We ended up paying about $10,000 out an approx $40,000 total bill due to upgrades and deductable. I can not comment of how the price compares with other options since we did not get other estimates. The roof to 1 1/2 days to finish. Large crew worked quickly and did good clean up. The siding took over 2 weeks to complete because of several early snowstorms and some subzero days. The siding crew did a great job. Guillermo, the head of the crew, updated us frequently along the way. The quality of the work seems excellent.

Came highly recommended by a neighbor. . . that + reviews here and we gave them a call. Addison was extremely knowledgable, professional and helpful with navigating the insurance process. The crew was prompt, polite, fast (I never had the chance to offer them water and watermelon when I got home from work!) and extremely neat. I was certain I'd find at least one nail or piece of asphalt in the yard somewhere, but not a thing. The roof looks great and I feel confident will hold up well throughout our most challenging, snowy winters!

Write at home, replaced the roof and siding for a home I own in Lino Lakes a few years ago. I have since had a few large picture windows replaced. The men who replaced the windows told us ‘who ever installed your siding did a nice job and went by the book’. Recently, I had some minor things that needed to be looked at. Bob came, looked at the issues and even fixed some siding that the irrigation company broke for free! Since experiencing his integrity, I called them to give me an opinion of a roof on a home I was selling. I knew it has life left in it and was concerned getting a roofer up there to be honest would be difficult. They could very well have said I need a brand new roof with the hopes of a job in the future and creating additional hassles with my pending sale. However, Bob was honest. He said it like it was, the roof still has some life in it. Honesty and Integrity Write at Home has earned a repeat customer in me.

Came at the scheduled time and introduced themselves, described their product. Did a thorough inspection on the roof and gave a detailed estimate (down to the number of nails they would use per shingle). Was very helpful about getting compensation from the manufacturer as the shingles were defective. They even agreed to work with me on the payment. I got a number of estimates from other providers, most were less expensive but also weren't as specific about materials or workmanship. (One even gave me an estimate without going on the roof!) The dumpster arrived the day before work was to begin and was placed on the street in front of our house. The crew arrived on time for the tear-off and install and were finished that day. The foreman was present most of the morning. The roof looks beautiful. Clean-up was good. They even replaced the satellite dish. My only complaint would be that when they tore off the old roof they started at the worst area and put it immediately into the dumpster even though I had requested one of those to submit with my claim. I did get one that wasn't so bad, and they did take lots of photos and helped fill out the form so I will have documentation for the class action suit. As a side note... when the satellite TV people came to replace the old dish, the Association complained about the placement of the dish in its old location and it had to be moved. This left their 'plate' and hardware attached in the 'bad' location. I talked to Wright -At-Home and they offered to send someone out to remove it and replace those shingles. You can't ask for nicer than that!

I called to schedule an appointment with Wright-at-Home Services a few days ago. My roof had been damaged by hail. I settled with my insurance company and I'm in the process of collecting bids for my home which has about 90 to 100 squares of roof surface (9,000 to 10,000 square feet); a big job. I asked the scheduler if the estimator who was coming out had experience. She told me he had been with the company four years. The estimator even called Thursday to confirm the morning appointment, which was for Friday, moving the time from 8:30 to 9:00. He apparently had to go to another job site in Minnetonka just south of me, then he would swing up to my home which is just a few miles north but close by. When I spoke to him, (I had to call him back), I stated my name and the city in which I live. Today (Friday), the estimator was a no show. When I spoke to the estimator around mid-day, he said the home office messed up and had sent him to another town entirely. The scheduler called to apologize this afternoon and to take the blame. I don't think it was her fault. These are very nice people but my roof is important to me and I waited at home until noon. I know it will be a $30,000 to $50,000 job depending on the type of impact resistant shingles that I select.

From the moment we called Wright-At-Home about getting an estimate for a new roof, the service was great. Our sales consultant, Addison, was pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. He oversaw the job from beginning to end and made sure that the details and work took place according to what was originally communicated to us. Addison seemed to truly care that we were pleased with our entire "new roofing" experience. We definitely are!

I had a very positive experience with them. The work was covered by insurance. They charged more than almost every other provider, but I am glad that I went with them. I was very happy with their quality, and I have not had any problems with the roof. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

We obtained three quotes and Wright was in the middle but seemed to be the most knowledgeable and had the best approach to solving our problem (suffered from water damaged due to ice dams). Sales rep was courteous and showed up in a timely manner. Work was completed in one day and Wright did a good job of clean-up and follow-up.

They were fine. There was no mess left.

We contacted Wright-at-Home to evaluate our roof to see if there was wind or hail damage, as many other homes in the area recently had their roofs replaced for this reason, and we also had ice dams over the winter. Roxanne (one of the owners) was very nice and quite helpful when I explained what we wanted. She scheduled Phil to come out. He arrived on schedule and spent a lot of time with us evaluating the roof and answering our questions. Our goal was to minimize the liklihood of future ice dams and he gave us several suggestions. He checked the roof and siding and said he would meet with the insurance adjuster to help point out areas of damage. We contacted the insurance company and scheduled a time with the adjuster. Phil met the adjuster at the house at the agreed-upon time. The insurance company agreed to replace the roof. Phil came back out to the house and was very patient as we questioned various products and ideas. We agreed to upgrade the shingles from what was currently on the house, add additional rows of ice and water shield, and to remove existing vents and install ridge vents along the roof of both the garage and house. Phil seemed very knowledgeable about roofing and roofing products. They did not require any money down. The roof was scheduled to be installed on a Saturday, but on Friday we received a call from Roxanne that rain was expected, so we rescheduled for the next Monday. The dumpster and materials arrived as scheduled. Bob (one of the owners) arrived before 8 in the morning, and introduced himself. A crew of 6 showed up soon thereafter, and we were introduced to the lead roofer. Either the owner or his son Nick was on the job site all day (except for a short lunch break), and they communicated with the roofers and watched over the job. Everyone was very professional, friendly, and really good about explaining what was happening with the roof as the job progressed. They answered all our questions. The workers also went around the yard to collect any staples or other roofing material. They used a blower to clean up the garage/driveway area, and made sure all debris was put in the dumpster. The roof was completed by approximately 7:00 p.m. and we paid for a portion of the total cost at that time. The dumpster was picked up early the next morning. Roxanne submitted an invoice to the insurance company as there was an additional cost for the permit. Once the check came from the insurance company, we sent the final payment to Wright-at-Home. The roof looks great, and we are pretty confident there won't be many ice dam problems in the future.

A great experience! Would I use Bob again? YOU BET! Would I recommend him? TO EVERYONE I KNOW!

Excellent service. Roxanne was very professional and helpful in setting up an inspection. Bob showed up on time, was very professional and spent 30-45min inspecting our roof. He added sealant under the shingles adjacent to 2 skylights and under a valley/trough area in the roofing. He gave us some good information about ice dams. I was all set to pay for his time and assessment, but he declined any payment--Wow! I will definitely use Wright-At-Home Services again and recommend them highly.

I had interior water damage due to ice dams. Scheduled an estimate and Bob arrived on time. He did a thorough inspection and explained that my roof was in good condition and gave me some advice for controlling the ice dams. I appreciated his honesty and the time he put into discussing this with me.

After water leaked into my home this past winter, I contacted several contractors to inspect and estimate the cost of repair or replacement of the roof. Bob from Wright at Home came to my home and inspected the roof. He was very professional and told me honestly that my roof was not in need of replacement and still has several years of life remaining. When I explained where I thought the leak was coming from, he investigated that area further and quickly identified an insecure cap as the likely cause. He repaired and secured the cap within 15 minutes and didn't even charge for the service! I can't express how impressed I am with Wright at Home! They were honest and courteous and identified a problem that the other guys completely missed! Although my roof may not need replacement now, when it does, Wright at Home will be the first place I call.

I’m finally getting to the feedback that should have done over a year ago. After a little mix-up with the initial scheduling due to hospital emergency, Bob came out to look at our roof on a Saturday morning. Even though it was really cold & the roof was icy, Bob went up to check out the source of our leak. After a half hour of investigation, Bob felt there wasn’t anything structurally wrong with the roof & didn’t find any evidence of holes that would have caused the leak (I did caulk some of the areas that I thought could be causing the problem). He also said he would love the work but didn’t think any repair was needed. He did however, ensure that if there were any other future problems he didn’t think the roof would need to be replaced & he could provide the appropriate repairs. My experience with Wright-At-Home-Services was very positive. Bob’s customer service was great & he earned my trust as he wasn’t just out to “make a buck. He was very thorough & forthright & I would have no problem using them in the future & recommending them to others. Even with the initial scheduling mix-up, I could Bob was sincerely apologetic for the mix-up & went above & beyond to make it right. As a representative of Wright-At-Home-Services, Bob’s honesty & integrity is invaluable & can be difficult to find out there these days.

It was time to replace our roof. I had used this company several years ago for some minor roof repair, and was pleased then, so when it was time to redo the whole roof I called them again. Their sales person came out within a couple of days and looked over the roof, as well as bringing a brochure explaining what was available with him. We sat down and talked about what I was looking for and went through the process of picking out shingles, etc. I told him I'd get back to them in a couple of days, which I did - and he came back again to finalize the transaction and show me an actual sample of the shingles I had picked out. The first day we had scheduled for the reroofing, it poured rain so we rescheduled for a couple of days later. They were there on time and had the whole roof done that day. The most amazing thing to me was the awesome clean-up job this crew did. They of course had laid tarps all around the house which caught most of the mess. However, after they had picked those all up they went around a couple of more times picking up the smaller things, using a magnet, etc. There was no sign of any nails, shingles, etc., left. I am extrermely pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of this company and would definitely use them again.

I called Wright-At-Home to check on a siding issue. Initially, they were very prompt about calling me back. When someone showed up for a look, he noticed some issues with my roof. He was to provide an estimate for the siding repair and then work with me on filing a claim with the shingle company. I was told that the roof needed to be clear of snow. Two times, the snow melted off the roof. Two times I called to have them come over. And Two times they failed to come over/return my calls. This week, I called the main line and informed the company that their employee had simply ignored me. The response was that they were going to have him contact me to follow up. He never did. It's a seemingly good company, but the lack of response and professionalism killed it for me. What's funny is that I might need a new roof - and someone else will get the work now.

Outstanding. They responded quickly, were on-time, they removed the snow from the roof and then cleared the deck/patio, they had excellent communication skills, were professional, and the price was reasonable. I will use them again and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
