Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors

We were very impressed with Wright at Home. They were quick. They left no nails or debris. This finished product looks great!

Very pleased with all aspects of the work. Actual tear-off and replacement of roof was done in less than 8 hours. Advance work and follow-up was pleasant and professional. A project I had been dreading turned out to be not bad at all.

We haven't yet hired Wright At Home, however, they have been to our home twice to provide an estimate. The first time was two years ago when we thought we had the beginnings of an ice **** and I wanted a roofing expert to look at our roof. When I scheduled this visit I specifically told them that we were not looking to replace the roof at that time. Phil came out and thoroughly looked over our roof. He took the time to discuss his findings and gave us an estimate for a new one just so we knew the ballpark of what we would be looking at for one we were ready to replace. At no point during this visit did we feel pressured to purchase anything. The second time was few weeks ago. We had thought we were ready to purchase a roof and new gutters. Addison and another gentleman (I apologize, I forgot his name :( ) came out and again they thoroughly looked over our roof and gutters. They then sat down with us and we discussed a number of options to replace our roof and gutters at the best possible price but yet to ensure we get the project done right and well! For our own personal reasons we decided to hold off one more year to replace our roof and gutters, but Wright At Home is definitely one we will be reaching out to again! I have had a number of other contractors come out to provide estimates and most of them have quickly looked over our roof and then tell me they will provide an estimate within a week. Write At Home gives me an estimate when they are at the house. I love that they sit down and talk through ALL the options. Also, as a women I regularly have contractors make the assumption that I don't know anything about the project we're hiring for. I'm not a super handy person, however, I do my homework. I often get people wanting to talk to my husband, these guys have not done that and its appreciated!!

The Sales Consultant (Addison K.) was professional, thorough, informative, and knowledgeable I appreciated his opinion and advise.

The price included an Angie's list discount of $1000, but the additional cost of extra and upgraded ice and water shield (Grace) and replacement of 14 ft. of fascia on one of the eves. The project went very well. The old shingles were removed and replaced with CertainTeed Landmark shingles with 4 star warranty which provides 50 yr. coverage that can be transferred to another owner for 12 years. The roof had 83 ft. of valley and 7 vents that were replaced and 35 ft. of ridge ventilation was also added along the main ridge. This was quite a project and was finished in two days. The clean up was excellent and the plants around the house were not damaged. The roof looks beautiful and we have had a number of heavy rains since then and the roof has not leaked. Both the salesman and the project manager were very easy to work with. Wright-AT-Home exceeded my expectations for this project.

Did a great job-especially in working with my insurance company, in fact without Wright-At-Home’s help I would have had to pay for the entire roof myself. They were very patient in getting cooperation from the insurance company

This is a followup to my initial review 7 years ago. It applies to roofing not the other work they did for us. After having moisture issues and after our bathroom vent fan burned out we had the fan replaced. The installer noticed that the roofers covered over the fan exhaust hole. An outside vent cover was placed on top of a hole that was blocked by shingles. I called the company and they cut a hole in teh shingles . I asked them to check the other bathroom and they said it appeared that that bathroom was vented into the soffits. At this point I was skeptical so hired a house inspector who discovered that the vent to the second bathroom used to be in the roof but it too was shingled over. So I had a second company come to fix that because I lost confidence in Wright at homes roofing department. We have some flashing issues since the roof replacement but we are still working on a fix for that

I couldn't be happier with the job Wright-At-Home installing new siding on my home. From the first meeting with Addison I knew it was the company I wanted to work with. I was especially please that their bid was a little lower than other bids I had gotten. Great communication through the entire process from Addison and Aaron, our project manager. The crew did an exceptional job replacing the old siding and hiding all the cables on the outside of the house under the new siding. The job was completed right on schedule and they did an amazing job! Would definitely hire them again for projects in the future.

Phil and his crew were professional, fast & courteous. In matter of a day, they removed the old roof, replace a bunch of the plywood, shingled and cleaned up all the mess before I got home from work. They did an amazing job.

Addison came out to view roof and explain product. Seemed very knowledgable. Quote was received less than 24 hours later. No high pressure sales pitch to sign with them. After accepting quote job was easily scheduled for the following week. Crew arrived early and began work right at 7am. Crew was professional and worked efficiently to finish the same day. Both Nick and Addison did stop on site to check in throughout the day. Clean up was impressive. Overall we were highly satisfied with Wright at Home and would use again!

My roof and siding was damaged from hail. I obtained three quotes. Addison from WAHS was the only bidder who actually walked around the property and got up on the roof to survey the damage. The others just looked at the insurance statement and said they could do the work for that price. I chose WAHS because I felt they understood what needed to be done. Further Addison felt that while only the siding on the West side of the house was damaged, due to MN law the whole house would need to be done. He worked with the insurance company and got it approved for replacement. I booked the job in December 2017 and the work was started at the end of May 2018. This was my choice as I didn’t want the work done in Winter. Addison was great and explained the insurance process. The roof was done first and it only took a few days. Nick was the Project Manager and kept me informed the duration of the project. The siding was done about 2 weeks later. We incurred some delays due to weather which was beyond their control. The Project Manager was Aaron. They started on a Friday and finished on Wednesday. I was so impressed when Friday evening Willie (crew lead) came back to put some trim over one of the windows because rain was forecasted for the weekend and he didn’t want water to drain behind the window. They also put the downspouts up so we wouldn’t have all the rain drain around the foundation. The crew for both the roof and siding cleaned up every night, which was appreciated as we have dogs and worried about nails. I would definitely use and recommend WAHS.

They were very responsive and came out to repair my roof almost immediately. I called multiple companies and they were the only ones willing to send someone so soon. The cost was extremely reasonable and less than their competitors. They were very easy to deal with and friendly. I will use them again if I need to. Give them a call. You won't be disappointed.

They did fine job. I will recommend them and absolutely.

Everything looks great. They are very good to work with and easy to get a hold of. They worked with my insurance company and took care of everything. They have been excellent to work with.

They never showed for the estimate appointment. No call or anything to explain where they were or to reschedule.

Couldn't have asked for more. Called on a Tuesday,fixed on a Thursday just before a big snow storm. Friendly, helpful, professional. I would definately work with them again.

Addison was helping and flexible to work with as we learned about our options and made our choices. The start date shifted a little, but once the work started, it went smoothly. The finished work looks great. Our window contractor even complimented the quality of Wright-At-Home's work.

Phil,Roxanne,Aron,and Ashley were great to work with.There crew were wonderful. This is a very good company and we will hire again. No trouble with there work at all.

He came he saw and then did not even consider completing our roof. Told my husband they were already super busy. So, why waste our time??

Excellent!!! My earlier review was tentative because they hadn't got back to the gutters and spouts. I couldn't figure out how to edit that review when they did get it down and probably should have been quicker to just add this second review. Wright-At-Home is great they did all the roof stuff in August and in early September the gutter guy came and took care of all the gutter and spout damage when we were on vacation. We just kind of got home and said OMG all the gutters are done!!! He also did a great job!!! I can't recommend them any higher. They worked with our USAA insurance folks to the point where USAA basically accepted Wright's assessment and photos and gave them free rein to handle everything.......

We were very impressed with the final product and actually had at least a dozen neighbors stop by to compliment the finished product. Project was completed in a timely manner. We had an issue with the gutters pooling water in the middle shortly after the project was completed and the team was happy to come back out and fix the issue quickly. Our only couple negative comments about the siding crew is about everyday they would name another thing that we could choose to replace (light fixtures, porch lights, doorbell). It would have been nice to be told all at once so I didn't need to run to home depot so many times. the other small issue was that they ended up using the garage without our permission and we would have liked to clean out some room for them to work and put our valuables away first. they did apologize for this though. Overall would hire again.

We were very pleased with Wright at Home. We were surprised to learn, upon our initial consult with Phil, that we had storm damage. They worked directly with State Farm Insurance to process the claim for a new roof and new siding for the entire house. The workers and day to day management was exceptional. They worked so hard I had no issues buying them lunch when I could.

The process was excellent. We called 5 companies. Due to the recent number of storms in our area one couldn’t handle our work and another would be delayed until the end of October. Of the 3 remaining companies that submitted proposals, Wright-at-Home-Services was the most complete and included everything that was detailed in the insurance adjuster’s report. Wright-at-Home Services took all responsibility for scheduling all the work and this took the responsibility for getting the smaller jobs off from our shoulders. The communication from Wright-at-Home was great. We received a phone call in advance of all the different subs and were given a date and time for the work to be completed. All subs showed up on time, were very courteous and did great work. We don’t have a lot of experience working with contractors, but this is by far the best communication we’ve had. The work was completed in a timely fashion. Contract was signed on 8/3/2017 and final payment was made on 9/8/2017. This included additional soffit repair which was not included in the storm damage claim. That was done at a reasonable price and was completed promptly. Contact with the company was excellent. Levi Anderson was our salesperson, Aaron Parenteau was the project manager, Jericha works in the office and called us to schedule most of the work, and Roxanne Kaasa, the owner also scheduled some of the work. All were easy to work with, thorough and professional. We were very pleased with Wright-at-Home Services and would strongly recommend them to others.

I would highly recommend Wright at Home! I never had to hire a contractor before the hail damage on 6/11/17. The only stressful part of the whole process was the hiring. My neighborhood in Blaine looked like an election year with all of the yard signs and flyers I didn't know who to go through. The only recommendation I got from my insurance agent or anyone else I talked to was to go with someone local. My co-worker showed me the Twin-Cities checkbook. I took three highly rated companies from there and compared to reviews that were in Angie's List and had them come out. The first two sales people that showed up didn't really give me much information. The last one I had an appt. was with Phil Kopesky from Wright at Home Services. He walked me through everything and called my insurance agent for the Intel report. My insurance adjuster already gave me an estimate and took a piece of my siding to see if he could find a match since only one side of my home and garage was damaged. Phil came back out a few days later with a piece of the “acceptable replacement siding” and installed it on one side of my home. The color didn’t match and the texture didn’t either. Phil took pictures and sent them to my insurance. My insurance reviewed them and approved to replace all of my siding instead of just one side. Phil came out a few days after that to show me my options for the roof and siding. I told him what I wanted and he had recommendations and pictures of houses he has done so I could see what it would look like. I made my selections and signed the contract at this time. They were able to get my roof and siding done earlier then what he originally said. My roof was done in a day (8/23/17) and my siding took two days (9/6-9/7/17). They cleaned up after themselves on each of the jobs and the dumpster was removed the day after. When they were working on the siding, Aaron the project manager called me about the light fixtures since they wouldn’t match the new color and brought up that my house numbers were looking worn. He said they could put the old ones back on if I wanted, or if I bought new ones they would install for me. Bottom-line: Phil the sales rep went the extra mile and helped me understand the process and started to work with my insurance agent from day one. The office staff was professional when they called to schedule my roof and siding. Both the office and Phil answered their phones every time that I called. Aaron the project manager made sure all the details were taken care of and called the day after to make sure I was happy with their work. My house and garage look wonderful! My neighbors have complimented on how nice it looks. I would hire again in a heart-beat!

They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone. They had a team of people and had the whole job done by 2 pm. They did beautiful work. They provide excellent personal services. They're a family run business so they work to really meet your needs.
