Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors

We sustained substantial damage during the 6-29-2015 hailstorm. There was the need to replace everything on the roof. Mike the salesman came out the day after I asked for an estimate. He sent me a detailed estimate by E-mail the following day. There then was some of the usual back & forth; I asking for clarification - details - on some items before signing the contract. The work on the roof was scheduled for 9-9-2015. On that day 7 men (which included the foreman of the crew) arrived at the appointed time. As he promised to do, Nick - the project manager - came by periodically during the day and was there to insure the finished product was correct. The work on the roof could not have been handled in a better - more professional - way. I was 100% satisfied. The firm used an outside company for the installation of the new rain gutters, downspouts and rain gutter screens. That work was also well done; again I was 100% satisfied. I have a stucco covered dwelling. The insurance company allowed for the painting of the exterior fascias and the wood around all of the windows, around the doors, etc. Wright at Home Services does not offer this service; they do not do painting. I do not recall being told this in my initial contacts with the salesman. This was cause for a bit of a hang up but it was then resolved to my satisfaction. This is the only reason I gave a "B" for professionalism in the above ratings. What impressed me as much as the quality of the work was the responsiveness of all members of the firm with whom I had contact. This includes Mike the salesman, Nick the project manager and Roxanne in the office. In this area they were terrific.

This has to be the BEST experience I have had working with a company. They were prompt, polite, outlined a realistic time line, organized, stayed on budget (I had gotten 5 other bids prior to this company) and the work performed was outstanding. No detail was missed. I have always tried to support family businesses as this company is and I couldn't be more happy with the job! Highly recommend them. This company is truly top notch!!

Salesman was professional, informative, prompt, and courteous. Crew was prompt, efficient, attentive to details and clean up!

Good but I had to call twice to get rebate information. Initial appointment scheduled. They lost.

The work was scheduled a week later. The crew was so professional. Worked 12 hours to try to finish the job (and it was hot and humid), cleaned up beautifully. They had to come back a few days later to finish re-roofing the shed, and again, did a fabulous job. The company took care of everything - permit, dumpster, inspection. The office staff kept me updated on scheduling of the roof work, re-screening of the gazebo and gutter work. They followed up to make sure everything was good. Could not be happier. Will definitely use the again.

Addison responded to my call within 45 minutes of leaving a message and came out early the next morning. From start to finish they were responsive, professional and great to work with. They work they performed was started quickly and very well done, none of our landscaping was damaged and the clean up was very thorough. They were not the cheapest nor the most expensive contractor from which I received bids. There was one error on the final work an it was fixed within two days upon noticing it. I could go on and on - but the truth is they are just great to work with and did an excellent job.

I called Wright-At-Home Services to look at a minor leak in our roof, and Phil was able to show me that we needed an entire new roof. He did have to reschedule our initial appointment, but it was well worth the wait. Phil and Roxanne were incredibly helpful when dealing with the insurance company. They were able to emergency tarp the roof the same day of our appointment, and have insurance cover the expenses. Phil was also very helpful in recognizing ice dam issues. We replaced the insulation on the second floor and removed some troublesome guards on the gutters. I would highly recommend Wright-At-Home Services to anyone needing work done on their home. I recognized a few nail holes that popped through the ceiling weeks after the roof was replaced, and Phil came out to fix them the next day, no problem, no questions asked.

Came out the next day and gave us a bid which was considerably lower than other bids. Started the work within a week and finished promptly. Work was professionally done. Furnished two shutters free of charge and installed new outdoor lighting.

This was the second time we have used Wright-At-Home for residential roof replacement. The first time was 9 years ago on a different house. The exceptional service at that time left no doubt who we would use for roof replacement due to hail damage on our current house. We called Bob Wright to inspect the roof after the hail storm and he said it appeared to him there was sufficient damage to warrant replacement but cautioned us the insurance claim might get refused. Bob accompanied the insurance adjuster during his inspection and was helpful in making observations for the adjuster. The claim was approved and the cost estimate was acceptable to Bob who took it from there. Bob was familiar with our city permitting process and handled that with ease. He was extremely helpful in recommending the materials needed to do the job in a first class condition. Most of his roofing crew have been with him since starting the company over 10 years ago. This is a huge plus in getting quality work performed by top notch installers. The work was carefully sequenced to avoid exposing a bare roof to rain which did occur and extended the work by a half a day. Bob or his experienced foreman were on site the whole time the work was in progress which further assured quality control of the installation. The completed roof looks great. Bob and his crew pay attention to finish details being done right and were most accommodating to requests we had on how to handle details such as the valley flashing extending further past the fascia. On their own, they painted the metal chimney flue to match the color of the valley flashing. The yard around the house was left spotless from debris, including nails, after the work was complete and the crew was ready to leave the site. Landscaping around the house was protected during the work without a single plant or tree being damaged. Bob is a very easy going person and has a way of making what could be a stressful process go smoothly. Wright-At-Home is definitely on our call back list if we ever need another roof job.

Our roof was in rough shape and we had roofing companies knocking on the door day and night promising free roofs through our insurance and crazy quotes. I came on Angie's List to find a better bet. I found Wright-at-Home. Addison came out in the summer of 2014, gave us a fair quote based on what we needed. It came in at about half what the others wanted to talk us into. Because there were no financing options available, we decided to wait. This summer we called about a deal posted on Angie's List, and unfortunately it didn't fit our needs. However, we found out they now have financing options! We had our new roof within two weeks of calling. Crew was punctual, professional, and they cleaned up after themselves. The office was great, specifically Roxanne. I come from a small town, and talking to her felt like talking to a neighbor. She listened to concerns and always communicated with Addison, who then called us back promptly. They never seemed annoyed and never made us feel stupid or silly with our questions. The gutter installation date was a bit unclear. With the roof we had a set day given when the crew would be there. With the gutters, it wasn't as clear when they would be done. They were done within a couple of weeks and the work was done well. It would be nice to have a more specific date right up front if possible. There was some confusion, on our part, about the number of gutters we would have installed. Wright-at-Home apologized for the confusion, even though it was on us, and quickly sent out a quote to get the additional work done. They are very responsive to customer needs. Roxanne and Addison were a pleasure to work with.

Everything went great. Insurance company at first only wanted to repair the roof, but Wright was able to prove that there was no match for our shingles. Insurance company agreed to replace the roof entirely because of this evidence. Roof work was done on time and by seasoned professionals. I am very happy with the result and the five star service I received. They even paid for my new tire that had been punctured by a roofing nail inadvertently left behind.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Talk about Rock Stars and Top Service. I hired a contractor that my neighbors had just used for their new roof. Talk about a mess. This contractor, after almost a week in from when he was suppose to start had tore off 1/2 my roof and was never showing up. My dumpster was suppose to be picked up on Monday and it was already Sunday with another call from the contractor stating that he had something come up and it would be tomorrow. I was in panic mode! I went to Angie's list and found Wright-At-Home. It was Sunday and outside of their business hours but figured I would leave a message. Roxanne, the owner, answered the phone by my surprise. I told her what was going on and I needed some help. She reached out to her crews and stated she could get me in on Monday. She stated that one of her crews and a Project Manager would be there at my house between 7-8am. Like clockwork, at 7:15 my door bell rang. They were always starting to go up on the roof and get to work. By 3:30 that day, I had my new roof. Talk about luck! What impressed me was that she took my call and was able to help. She could have not answered or had me call back on Monday. But no, she took her Sunday to make call and work with me to get everything lined up. Roxanne even called me at 8am to make sure that the crew had arrived and started. Roxanne even followed up again with me that afternoon to see how everything went and if I was satisfied. Also, while onsite, the Project Manager also was awesome. She kept us informed of everything and was a pleasure to work with. For those that are reading this, keep in mind... I had already pulled my permit, had materials onsite, and the dumpter sitting in my driveway. This helped with the quick turn-around but in any case, still... to help me this quickly and to perform with such quality is outstanding. I will always use Roxanne and her team for anything I need to do on the exterior of my homes. Thanks Roxanne for being a life saver!

Although Wright at Home was not able to do the repairs we were seeking a bid on due to the unique qualities of our roof, Bob provided us top notch service in letting us know many aspects about our specific roof, despite the fact he knew in advance they would not be bidding on our job. This is the mark of a truly high quality company/business operation and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them in the future for other services.

A very knowledgeable representative visited us and inspected our roof. Our third estimate, he pointed out something the other two had not: We live in a twin home, and our twin-neighbors were not able to re-roof at this time. Because our existing shingles were not the more desireable (and expensive) "architectural style," we could not have that type of shingle, as it wouldn't weave properly into the neighbors' remaining old shingles. (All three companies inspected the roof from atop, and two didn't point this out to us.) So that saved us a world of confusion that seemed likely to follow if we'd not gotten this information. We got quick, courteous, informative replies to all our questions, and set up a project date. The workers arrived promptly and finished the job in just part of a single day. They were meticulous in their detail, to the point of vacuuming up grit that had washed off our (22-year-old) shingles onto the lawn. They replaced our furniture to our patio, though we'd moved it away from the house onto the lawn before they arrived. Not one single thing for us to do or to request be done; perfect delivery! My B on responsiveness is only me being persnickety. I shot an email to ensure a particular part of the project was on schedule because I'd not heard from the company. It was, I had just not been notified. I would recommend this company whole-heartedly.

Overall quality good. Price fair. Siding took much longer than estimated causing sleep issue with tenant working third shift. Manager did apologize to him for the inconvenience. Just one or two smaller things I would have done differently if the issues would have been communicated at the time of work.

It was a great job.The work crew arrived right on time, worked as a team, and very efficiently had the job finished by 5:00. A project manager was on the scene to check on progress, and came by the next day to make sure we were satisfied. Clean up was excellent and the only thing left behind was a beautiful new roof!

These folks were great. From sales to clean up, professional all the way. Lots of extra attention to detail, respect for my property, and a deep clean after. Over all, a great value. Given what else is out there, I consider us lucky to have chosen this company.

Bob came to inspect the siding as we noticed a leak around the window. He caulked the top edge of the window and fixed one of the sidings which had come loose. He also inspected the window on the 2nd floor to make sure it was caulked properly. We also asked him to take a look at the roof as some of the houses in the neighborhood were replacing their roofs after a recent storm. He looked around the house and the roof above the garage but did not find any major damage. I liked that he was honest and not pushy. He was very nice and answered all our queries to our satisfaction. We were very happy with the prompt and honest service and will hire them again when we need to replace the roof.

I needed roof repair done on a home pending sale. Phil was prompt and professional in providing the full estimate and service repairing the roof shingles and additional recommended repairs.

We'll see the next time we have a severe storm but hopefully that fixed the leak.

Plymouth area was hit by hail a few weeks ago and the neighborhood has been flooded with roofing companies agreeing to inspect "with no obligation" we had one of them check things out and he said there was definite damage and we should sign the contract and get our adjuster out there. i told him i wouldnt sign anything until i checked them out and asked if they were Angies List....they were not. So i checked Angies List Monday the 6th and found glowing reports about Wright at Home. The very next day he was out. He walked around the house, found some damage i didnt even see, but felt the roof did not show the damage the first company said i had, and suggested i wait until after a winter as often winter made damaged areas more visible. He was honest and professional and if in fact things look worse next spring, Wright at Home will absolutely get my business! As busy as these guys are, to be out the next day is fabulous! We bought our house new about 27 years ago. About 7 years ago we noticed some minor issues with the roof (normal wear type things). To save money we had an ex-neighbor/friend who worked in roofing do a second layer. Unfortunately it wasn't the right choice and he probably wasn't experienced enough. This spring we noticed from a bedroom window that the shingles on the garage seemed to be covering our gutter system. After a roof inspection by another provider and a visit from our insurance adjuster we found out that the shingles covering about half of the garage were coming loose and sliding down. Insurance would not cover it because it boiled down to a workmanship thing. I contacted WAH via email and asked about a quote. Roxanne called me back a couple hours later and we set up a visit. Bob did the evaluation/quote. I liked Bob right from the start. He instinctively knew what we were looking for and was very thorough. We discussed the problem, the best fix, and he was able to specifically tell me what the WAH solution would be. I knew up front what shingles, the warranty, the vents, the building permit, the weather seal, the cap, and everything I wanted to hear (and everything was included in their quote). This gave me a nice level of confidence. When I asked about the pre-payment thing that most contractors have he looked at me and said "you look like a pretty honest guy, don't worry about it". I discussed things with the wife and called back to commit the next day. Roxanne was back to me the following day with a tentative date and plan. We deiceded on Monday June 29th (bear in mind I only talked to them the week before). That Monday the crew was there at 7:00 am as they said they would be. The dumpster was in place around 7:30 am, the roof was totally stripped of both layers before 9:00 am, my wife talked to them and they told her to just go to work and they would take care of everything. I came home at noon and they were totally done, the garage door was down, and everything was picked up. Later in the afternoon the dumpster guy came by, picked up the dumpster, and swept the driveway. It was a totally excellent experience in professional work.

I submitted a web form for an estimate on a Monday. I received an email within an hour asking what day and time work best for someone to come to our home to do an estimate. I responded back within an hour with the requested information. I didn't get a response. Finally Wed night someone called me to set up an appointment. We scheduled for the next day. The guy didn't show up and didn't call. I still haven't heard from anyone at the company. I won't be using this company for any services I need in the future.

The person who came to our house was punctual and got me very detailed estimates within a day or two.
