It went well, but I thought the total cost was a bit high for the work done.

We received an email from Garage Doors Plus LLC the day after buying the deal, and then a phone call to setup the preferred day/time. We picked a time that worked out ok for us, but then the actual technician called us and asked if we could move it because he didn't think he'd be able to do it at that time. He joked that he could start at 7am, and we told him that would fit our schedule perfectly (I don't think he was expecting that!). The technician arrived on-time and was great to work with. He not only explained what he was doing, but also did a great job telling us how we could do this ourselves in the future. He discussed the longevity of the opener, the rollers, and the springs, explained that we had a very good garage door (and what a "better" one would consist of, not that he was selling it or anything). He also noticed that our second garage door track wasn't quite long enough and explained that he could fix that in the future if we wanted - but that it wasn't really a big deal due to limited use. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend the company!

Garage door performing much better. It is definitely elderly and Thomas explained what we will want to do in a couple of years..what needs replacing and what we can keep. Very helpful.

Thomas was at our house right on time on Tuesday morning for the install. Nothing to add except he did a great job. He had received the wrong hardware so had to come back later the same day to finish up which was no problem at all. Awesome service overall and we are very happy with the new door. Definitely would recommend this business to others !

Brian was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He met with me and reviewed the options available and we scheduled the new door replacement for about 4 business days after our meeting. The old garage door was original and in bad shape. Brian removed that , installed the new door and new mechanisms and was done in just a few hours. After the installation he even called and left a voicemail asking if all was as I expected and if I had any questions or concerns! I have been having a lot of work done on my house and can only wish that every other service team was as delightful an experience to work with as Garage Doors Plus. If you need garage door work or replacement, this is the place to call!

Excellent company! I worked with Thomas, who was prompt, professional, personable, and very customer focused. I originally bought an Angie's List deal for garage door tune-up. My garage door opener had also stopped working, so I wanted Thomas to check it. After examining my ancient opener and rusty garage door springs and rollers, Thomas recommended a new garage door and opener, which I was anticipating. He did not try to oversell, but laid out several options and helped me decide the best choice for my situation. Two days later he was back to install everything. He arrived on time, installed everything, and also went over how to maintain the door, work the new opening system, and provided tips for cold weather, vacations, etc. Friendly, great service! I highly recommend this local, small business.

I purchased the garage door tune-up through Angie's List. He arrived promptly during the agreed upon time frame, check over the door, lubricated what needed to be and made recommendations on proper maintenance procedures for me to follow.

He came with the supplies and was able to fix it right away. So, the cost was higher than I anticipated, but completely necessary. He was very friendly, professional, and the fix works great! Thanks!

The work was completed to satisfaction. Tom (one of the two partners owning the company) was quite upfront and willing to explain what he was doing. He was convincing about what really needed to be done. Overall, I was pleased with his work, his openness and punctuality. I plan to do business with him again in the future---I have set up to have him check with me on a yearly inspection.

I was very pleased with the service that Mr. Ballinger provided to me. I was not given a hard sell on items that I didn't need. He greeted me with a friendly handshake and made me feel that I was his only custom of the day. I asked him if he could help me with 2 garage controls that had stopped working and we had put new batteries in them and they still didn't work. He was able to get one to work but the other may have had a bad battery or we could like for an universal control. He sprayed to stop the squeak that' was happening when the door was going down. I will use Garage Doors Plus for any necessary repairs that may occur. I will also request the Dave Ballinger provide the service that would be needed.

First, Thomas thoroughly explained options and helped me pick out a garage door that is not only quiet, strong, long lasting, and safe, but also the right style and color. He did so in a manner that was highly professional and showed he cared that I got the product that would best meet my needs. Second, he installed the garage door and replaced the opener which was 13 years old. Again, he was prompt and professional. The garage door is so quiet I, at first, had to glance over my shoulder to make sure the door was closed. Third, he taught me how to do routine maintenance and promised to be back in a year for a check-up. Thomas was at all times prompt, professional yet friendly, and cared that I got a good door and opener. I highly recommend Garage Doors Plus, LLC.

After checking it out he found a gear that is worn out and can't be fixed. He oiled and adjusted everything. After he had done all he could do thoroughly explained the problem and quoted us a price for a new opener. The really bad noise ceased and so far we have gotten by without replacing it.

It went fine. They ended up replacing some springs that I didn't think needed replaced. And as of today, March 4th, 2015, my garage door won't open so I'm calling them to come out again.
