Needed a replacement key for my vehicle. Blaine Lock and Safe quoted the following pricing: *Service call of $19.99 and a new key charge starting at $95.00. When the technician arrived, the story changed to: *$29.99 for the service call and he disputed that I was quoted $19.99. He quoted $185.00 for the new key and stated that I would not find a better price. I also inquired on the website front page offering a 15% discount for locksmith services, and despite no small print clarifying the discount, he stated that my key was" ineligible" for the discount. I asked several times what made the fob ineligible and he provided only double talk. Next morning - although the fob worked, the small mechanical key inside did not work. I phoned the manager of Blaine Locksmith to receive clarification on pricing misquotes, mechanical key not working, and the website discount was not offered by the technician and disappointment in their service. Despite asking for manager, Blaine Lock & Safe had the original technician phone me to discuss. The conversation between Blaine Locksmith evolved into arguing and that as I did not ask for the 15% discount at the first phone call, the discount would not apply. When I restated dthat the technician said the key fob made the discount ineligible, the technician stood his ground. Furthermore, they were unwilling to clarify pricing misquotes or address concerns, however, this company is willingly happy to argue. Do not use this service

Only problem was that they left spring lock locked. We only use the dead bolt. My husband went into garage and promptly locked himself out...all new keys inside. We had to call them back to let us into our own house.

Was fixed very quickly! Technician was knowledgeable and friendly.

I did not elect to take the service as "I only accept cash" is not standard for a business.

This was the first time I used Angies List and the first time needing a lock repair. After reviewing, I called Blaine Lock and asked for service, when they explained I could remove the lock and bring it in to save myself the trip charge. I removed the lock, drove over thinking I would need to drop off and pick up, when I was THRILLED to be told I could have a seat, it would be only a few minutes to look at it and fix. I swear by their service; fast, friendly and courteous. Plus HONEST and they helped me save money. Thank you so much!

Great. The individual was pleasant and did a great job.

I wouldn't do business with this company because one of their employees was driving the company van so irresponsibly and dangerously. If I needed the services of a locksmith, I'd rather pay double for any other locksmith than patronize this business.

Blaine Lock and Safe was professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. They provided same day service and arrived promptly.

The whole door lock on our 1965 camper broke, and I brought it in for repair. Due to the design of the lock, Blaine Lock was unable to repair it. I found a replacement lock on Craigslist and brought that in without a key. Blaine Lock was able to make a new key and copies for the lock.

The locksmith on duty was very helpful and courteous. I have had other small jobs done there and the staff has always been nothing short of friendly and professional, with reasonable prices. He did not try to upsell me on anything and didn't care that I had bought the locks somewhere else. He gave a reasonable quote and said to come back in a half hour. I returned then and the locks were done and all in perfect working order with the new keys. Spot-on service.
