It went as well as anyone could expect. The workers were on time (calling a head during the window I had been given), were courteous and answered all my questions. Because they did such a good job, I had them back in early January to clean my furnace ducts.

It was a negative experience. He was rude on the phone and not patient when answering questions on the price. They were going to charge two and half times more for every 500 square feet larger than 2500 square feet.

The entire process took about an hour. We've now had our fireplace in use much of these last couple of months and everything works perfectly. We will use them again in 2 years.

He provided a quote for a return visit if the dishwasher failed to empty again, which was a reasonable sum if we needed to take advantage of their service in the future. It is worth the price to have someone else crawled about among two appliances and save our bodies that discomfort.

We wanted to get it back working. They were courteous etc. and told us we would need a new thermopile. We called in a second contractor who said we were all set and the thermopile was in accordance with the age of the house. Basically started the fireplace and left. I am disappointed in having spent the $99 with AAA and have gotten bad advice in return.

Very well. The ductwork had evidently not been cleaned since we were in the house - about 17 years - so there was a dust mass out of every thing which they showed me and which was about the size of a bobcat. While they were there, as side jobs for me at reasonable cost, they cleaned the dryer vent - which I had been meaning to schedule - and the water heater vent, which was a good idea also. They were a cheerful crew of 2 and they kept me informed of what they were doing at each stage. They explained the recommended service intervals for the work they did and put reminder notes on our equipment.

The provider corresponded after I paid for the deal via the messages page on Angie's List. The provider called 30 -45 minutes in advance. The guys were amazing and helped me to understand how to keep my gas fireplace well serviced and when to call them back (normally once a year). Both men were very comfortable explaining the differences between the types of gas fireplaces and parts. I could see where I had made mistakes in cleaning the glass and they spoke about maintenance as well. I was having an appliance problem (washing machine) and they were able to tell me a bit about some causes before having me call their office for an appointment with the repair part of their company. The other two gentlemen showed up the very next day, at a time that was convenient for me and for just $90, they were able to save me from having to spend $1,000 or more on a replacement washer. Both experiences were very effective and I am quite pleased with the company's services.

I can't say enough about how great these guys are. After purchasing the deal on Angie's List, I was contacted the very next day to schedule an appt. I mentioned the fireplace pilot light had gone out and was willing to pay extra if repair was required. I was given a window of time for the appointment, but requested to be contacted 30 minutes out if possible so I could go into work during the time frame. I was called 30 minutes before which allowed me to be home before they arrived. The two gentlemen who worked on the fireplace were friendly and very professional. I have a two sided fireplace, and thought that might cost more, but they took care of both sides without charging extra. They thoroughly cleaned the glass on both sides, vacuumed out and replaced all the rocks and ember wool, and replaced the logs. They also cleaned out all the parts and unplugged vents that were preventing one side of the fireplace from working properly. They relit the pilot light and ensured all was working properly before cleaning up and leaving. The fireplace looks and works great! I have had this fireplace serviced many times over the years but have never been this pleased with the result. I will only use this company for future fireplace servicing.

Came into the house with a large workshop vacuum cleaner.Set down a tarp in the work area.Vacuum ran for a good period of time.Removed heavy front panel on fireplace.Cleaning sounded complete.Replaced cinders on log rack which improved the appearance of the fire.Looks more natural.
