In the end the work was excellent. The first technician did not do a complete cleaning of the fireplace. Although he vacuumed and cleaned the glass, he did not remove the logs nor did he remove the lava rocks. He also did not turn off the gas to check the pilot, etc. per manual instructions. And he did not vacuum the rug of some of the dirt from vacuum. I called the owner and explained the situation. He apologized and we rescheduled with the most experienced technician. I also asked if they would clean the refrigerator coils as an additional service. He said yes and would charge $59 for the fridge. Jesse and Chris did an complete fireplace cleaning, removed the lava rocks and replaced them with fireplace wool, reinstalled the logs, and checked the pilot light, etc. He also went over some of the fire place control operation. Additionally they vacuumed the rug before they went on to clean the fridge: vacuumed, air hosed, wiped floors, walls and all sides of fridge. I am pleased with their work and would highly recommend Jesse and Chris. I respectfully suggest the company does retraining with the first tech.

They were on time and in and out very quickly! The fireplace burns very differently after their service. No additional charges other than the deal I purchased from Angie's List! Quick and very courteous! Would definitely recommend their service.

They did the work for me. While they were here they were so helpful they helped me with two other fireplaces. I paid them a little bit more to do the second fireplace, and he adjusted the pilot light on the third. The gentleman that was here gave us some good pointers on our furnace as well. They were punctual. They were courteous. They left my house so you wouldn't know they were cleaning fireplaces. They were wonderful I would have them back.

They ended up replacing the unit. They are very good, we have used them a couple times. Everything was fine, did exactly what they said. The cost was exactly what they stated.

It was kind of a struggle getting them to do it correctly. They didn't really have the expertise that I thought they should. They had a hard time taking the glass cover off my gas fireplace. It is actually pretty easy, and I was trying to explain to the guy how to do it. He was basically trying ripping it off, which would ruin it. We finally got it off, but they had left and said they needed a special tool to take it off. It is a new fireplace, so I didn't know any better. I spent the better half of a day trying to call the manufacturer. I did find out there is not a special tool needed; they just weren't doing it right. I called them up and they came back out. They moved all of the logs in my fireplace, which have to go a certain way, so now there is a big gap where the flames shoots right up to the top of the fireplace. That is not good for the bricks. Two people came out and it took about two hours. One of the guys at least was friendly, and seemed more knowledgeable than the other. The other guy seemed real bossy for not knowing too much. He was the one that was really screwing things up. They replaced the wool that goes on top of the artificial logs to simulate ashes burning. It looks horrible actually. He just put it on the bottom where there's no logs, and he didn't put a single one on the logs itself. When the fire is on, you can just see the flat surface around the logs glowing, it doesn't simulate a real fire.

They were great, they were really really good. They were on time, they were professional, they were everything. They were good and I would have them again. There were 2 people and it took not even an hour, 45 minutes I think. They were good, excellent. Very clean, they ran a runner and everything.

Super friendly and professional all the way around. Fireplace looks fantastic. The fireplace also had stopped functioning before they arrived and they replaced the thermocouple and the fireplace works again! (I'm super happy the fireplace looks fantastic and works again but to add on $250 for the parts and installation for a thermocouple was a bit much given that the fireplace was already taken apart at the point and a thermocouple is fairly inexpensive, but hey, everyone has to make a living I suppose, just felt a little ripped off by the price is all). If all I were doing was getting a functioning fireplace cleaned by these folks, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them in a heartbeat--they truly did a wonderful job.

It wasn't extremely complicated so they did what they were require to do and they did and they did it very well done.

We have used Anderson's in the past and they have always been fast, reliable and of the highest quality work. Today we needed to call them for a more unusual request. We noticed quite an odor in our home and finally thought it was coming from the gas log fireplace. We called Anderson's and they came right away. They too thought the odor was coming from the fireplace and began to clean it. They found a dead red squirrel in the firebox! They completely cleaned the fireplace and went up on the roof to check the vents as well. They found where they though it got in! They were so thorough, courteous, and friendly and bagged the squirrel to be thrown out. They washed out the fireplace and did not quit until all signs and smells from the squirrel were gone. They made sure we were satisfied before leaving. We now have a very clean and odor free fireplace again. Thank you John and Shawn! I would never use another company for my fireplace. It is always Anderson I call! They never disappoint!

It went ok, but it took a while to get because apparently they did not receive my request. A couple of months passed and I finally got a hold of them and they sent someone right out. I think it was overvalued for what they did. The quality of service appears to be good. I don't know if it was corporate or what, but it seems they were not aware of the deal. Once they got a hold of it, it was fine.

Fine, except it always cost more than stated. They always find something else that needs repair.
