Description of Work: It went okay. There was some miscommunication when I bought the Angie's List deal and the gentleman said it was over, but he still honored the work. The only glitch was the original day the work was to be performed, his truck broke down. I had taken the day to be at home but getting updates was difficult and by the time, he confirmed he wasn't going to make it, it was too late for me to get back to the office. He then went on vacation and I didn't know when we were to be rescheduled. Overall, I think it was just an exception to this experience, and the quality was decent. He was a nice individual.

Description of Work: Service went well. They installed several light fixtures and a punch list of small carpentry projects.

Description of Work: We exchanged a few emails, and the last I heard, he was going to call me to get an estimate and get things moving. Never called. Also had a deal through Angie's List, but didn't want me to buy through Angie's List. Wanted cash up front.

Description of Work: Roger Kelly and Affordable Design were advertised on Angie's List as a "Big Deal" for kitchen remodeling and granite countertops. He referred us to Steven Confield of Design and Granite for our kitchen countertops. After his initial consult he did not return my phone call regarding my inquiry on floor refinishing. I had a very unsatisfactory experience with Design and Granite.

Description of Work: We hired Roger to help finish our basement. He got to the job quickly, did quality work and referred subs that were professional and did a great job. Roger prices his work fairly and is committed to quality service. Roger was referred to me by a friend and after working with Roger I would also recommend!

Description of Work: I bid my unfinished basement out to three contractors. Roger did come in at the lowest bid, but also provided references to prove the quality of his work would not be reflective of his lower prices. Roger and his team finished my basement in the timeframe stated and at the price he stated, except for the upgrades I chose. He came up with good strategies for 'issues/challenges' with my basement and really knows his stuff. I found his team to be professional and they provided quality work as well. I had a flood in my brand new basement on a Friday night and he came out Saturday morning to pull carpet, pad etc. to save the sheet rock; which I would have not been able to do myself. He also fixed the outside plumbing to prevent future water issues. I do recommend Roger and his team for just about anything needed for a house! :)
