My experience with them was wonderful. They took the ice off very well. They were polite and professional in the appointment. They cleaned up especially well after themselves. For the enormous amount of work they did, it was worth the price.

This is my second time using United and it was every bit as great as the first. They respond immediately to appointment requests. They are punctual, professional, and polite. My windows sparkle and there isn't one streak, even on the big plate glass window! Our windows are quite old and require quite a bit of manuvering to dismantle them for proper cleaning.. Ryan and his team are fantastic! They include the screen cleaning in the price quote so you aren't surprised and don't feel nickled and dimed to death. I will definitely call them back for fall!

This is always more expensive then you would think. At $250/hour, I believe they were comparable. Did the work well.

He was friendly. But first said he couldn't do it until first week of June, but then heard I was in Oakdale and was apprehensive of coming here. Even though it was right next to Maplewood which he does service. He said he had been meaning to contact AL to tell them he wanted to stop the promotion. However, he did give me the name of another company who responded quickly.

We were not able to have them come out last year due to the weather, but they have been very easy to work with so far, and they will be doing the work in June.

I had an ice dam I needed removed so there were additional fees which I had anticipated. The service was great. The two workers showed up on time, were professional and got straight to work. He prorated the charges so I was only paying for the time spent working instead of by the hour which I appreciated.

Called because my roof was leaking due to an ice jam and heavy snow. Removed both by steam to protect the roof materials and offered solutions to prevent future ice dams; not a cheap problem to solve. Thank goodness I had no structural damage. I recommend using United Window Cleaning for ice dam removal. Still waiting for an estimate for window cleaning requested.

Ryan and his guys cleaned my windows last fall and did such a good job, when I saw that he was removing ice dams I called him. He was just leaving the house and was booked up and couldn't do it until the following Wed. He took the time to give me the names and numbers of 3 other companies that remove ice dams. They couldn't do it either. I left a message for Ryan on Angie's List and said that both I and my neighbor would like to get on the list for Wed. the 5, and if they had a cancellation to put us in. He called a short time later and scheduled us. I was impressed with the fact that he did all this even though he was extremely busy. The guys who came were great. They gave me an estimate, said it would take approximately 4 hours, but would try to get it done sooner if they could. They worked every minute and got it done in 3 and a half hours. They did a great job. They went next door to my neighbors, and I don't think they even took a lunch break. My neighbor is very hard to please and she was delighted with them. She called me to thank me for referring them, and also called Ryan to tell him how much she liked their work. The cost was about $900.00 but Ryan charges $270.00 an hour which is a lot less than some of the other companies charge. I talked to a lady at our neighborhood Curves and it cost her $1600.00 for 4 hours with another company. Even though $900.00 was a lot for my pocketbook, it was a fair price, and I was happy that it wasn't more.

It went fantastic. Ryan is so hard-working and so personable and professional. He worked straight through, by himself, for about 4+ hours and was able to remove some very stubborn ice dams from our roof. We were very impressed by the quality of his work and by his work ethic, and by his niceness and responsiveness. Hire him with confidence!

The men who were here worked very hard. They were professional and communicated with me to keep updated on what they were doing. I had sticker shock from the bill however. We have had this done before and the cost was about 1/2. This was a snowier year than most, so I am sure the figured into how long it took. When they left they do not re-hook up our washer from where they used the water from and unfortunately my husband was leaving on a business trip. By the time he realized why the washer wasn't working he had to leave without several of his clothes because they were not dry.

I called at 7-8 places for ice dam removal when water begin seeping between the windows in the space where my porch is attached to the kitchen. Only 3 responded; two could not do the job for at least 2 weeks. Ryan from United windows assured me that he would be here in 5 days. Fortunately I could see by the weather forecast that it was going to remain cold that long and hired them immediately. He also gave a quote for the job that was at least $200 lower than others. Ben and his co-worker arrived close to the time that Ryan had stated. They got right to work and completed the job in about 2-1/2 hours. I apparently had forgotten to clean out the sticks and debris from this gutter last fall which Ben explained had caused the back up. It was a messy job with sticks, leaves and other matter flying all over, the guys cleaned the mess up very efficiently and also shoveled the deck which was not necessary. The price was more than fair, they met the original estimate which was lower than their competitors. I will definitely hire United again, hopefully not for ice dams, but to clean some high windows which I have been unwillling to do for a couple of years, because it will be necessary to use an extension ladder. I had Ryan remove ice dams from the front of my home where contrasting rooflines converge and where I had unfortunately neglected to rake early on in the season. He and his partner were here for two and half hours and cleared the ice dams completely and also raked the entire front side of the roof, higher than I had been able to do myself. The service is expensive, but ultimately well worth it to avoid issues going forward and compared to other companies I had researched, they offered a great value. Ryan was very personable and explained the process in detail and took care to clean up as much as possible in the extreme temperatures we have been experiencing. Very pleased with the outcome.

Ryan and his partner arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. The ice on the north side of my home was easily 6-7 inches thick at the ridge and extended back up the roof. They were able to steam off a good 4 ft on the roof and amazingly had a roof rake that reached to the top of the roof removing all the accumulated snow, opening up the vents. They also removed snow from two other valleys and suggested steaming one of the areas where the ice was building up. The job took three hours which was what I anticipated, and they cleaned up the sidewalks and asked if they could put down salt since the water spray had frozen on areas of the walkway. I appreciated being asked and allowed them to do so. I talked to Ryan on Monday and they were out on Thurs. to do the job. I found Ryan to be very personable, professional, and hardworking. I would definately recommend him.

United Properties were extremely professional and did a great job. They showed me before & after photos which were great. I would hire them again anytime.
