Master 1 Exteriors

We spoke on Monday (6/10) and explained what I wanted done. He indicated he could come out either Tuesday or Wednesday (6/11,6/12). Never heard from him again. I agree with the other review, if not interested in the job or can't make it, let the customer know. Very frustrating to arrange schedule to meet with contractor and be a no-show. I will never deal with Master 1 Exteriors.

I called to set up an appt. for an estimate on Thurs. Aug. 18th to give me an estimate on some replacement windows, some shingle replacement and some damage that a woodpecker had done to a bay on our home. We agreed on meeting the following day, Friday, August 19th at 1 PM. I gave him my home phone, cell phone and my address. I aaranged my schedule accordingly. He never showed up nor did he call to cancel or reschedule. If you are to busy or just plain donw want my busines, just be honest in the beginning. Nothing is more irritating then rearranging my schedule to accomodate a no-show!

I contacted this company via the e-mail link on Angie's List on Sunday and within 10 minutes I had received a call from Brian. He has been receiving hundreds of calls due to the problem of ice dams this winter but my e-mail popped up right away. Brian said he would have someone come out on Tuesday or Wednesday. Monday afternoon I received a call from Chad saying that they were on their way. Chad estimated that it would take 4-5 hours to get all the ice off the roof. When asked if they would be removing the snow he said he only removed the ice. When I originally talked to Brian I didn't know that they had two different crews - one that removes the ice dams and one that shovels the snow off the roof. The job could not be finished in one day so they came Tuesday morning. Chad said that it was going to take longer than he expected but honored his original estimate of 5 hours. Chad had talked to Brian and it was agreed that all the snow would be cleared off the roof, too, at no extra charge even though it should have been an additional cost. It cost more than we expected but we had water damage in two rooms last winter due to ice dams so we want to avoid at all costs from filing another insurance claim this winter. My husband goes out every time we have snow and uses a roof rake to remove the snow but we still had thick ice dams.
