+ -1 moreExcellent repair work in a very timely manner. The upholsterer removed the old coverings and stuffing, provided the chair frame to Pat Landis (Eagle Restoration) and, when the repair and re-finishing was complete, Pat returned the chair to the upholsterer for new stuffing and upholstery. Cost provided only covers the work completed by Eagle Restoration. The upholstery work was another $350.
Description of Work: Repaired and re-finished the wooden parts of a chair that is more than 100 years old.

+ -1 morePat confirmed our beliefs as to the quality of the dresser. He stripped the old varnish, removed the old stain and sanded old dings out. He then applied a clear coat exposing a beautiful, iridescent maple grain. (I’m sure there was MUCH more involved here, but this is the short version.) He also stained new maple legs to match the 60 year old wood. We couldn’t be happier with the dresser and Pat’s work.
Description of Work: Stripped and re-finished a 1950's era maple dresser that had aged to an unpleasant greenish color and had seen 60 years of use.
