Mark and his son did a fantastic job. They stuck to the schedule and busted their tails to get the work completed on time. The quality of work was great and didn't leave any mess. I would absolutely use again and would recommend to a friend.

Vaulted ceilings and lots of trim in bathroom completed in 1 day!. Couple of patching jobs at minimal cost. Great job around all of the trim! i insisted that painter consulted with me at project site before bidding which was a plus. **type of paint** Ask painter what type of gloss to purchase. Because, I had "builder" paint walls. only painted once by the original developer that built the townhouse units; Just one Flat coat. So, I should have used Flat paint. I used Eggshell. I didn't know at the time that a higher gloss also highlights original flaws on the walls such as Sheetrock tape lines. ugh. Lessons learned. **Ask painter what type of gloss to use.** And insist on the painter to visit your site before giving an estimate. Expensive, and I had to pay for the paint, but, did i mention, I have vaulted ceilings? So I wasn't about to climb way up that high! Would I hire this painting company again? - Yes!

I was very impressed with Michaels Painting. Mark was responsive during the quote and was willing to give me a rough estimate by phone, since I live a distance from their business. They were able to do the job in a day and a half, and was willing to put up with a lot of (quite frankly) stupid questions on our part. They arrived on time, were friendly, and the finished product was beautiful. I had gotten two other quotes from companies closer to me, and Mark apologized that he had to "charge me so much" since he had to commute a distance to my home, but his charge was still significantly lower than my other estimates. Would definitely use Michaels again. True craftsmanship like this is hard to come by these days.

Every once and a while a contractor exceeds your expectations and this was one of those times for me and my wife. We hired Michaels to remove the popcorn ceilings on our main and upper levels of our house (including an 18 foot vault) and replace it with knockdown, painted ceiling texture. Mark delivered on all of his promises and was on-time and on budget. What really struck me was their attention to detail and the care taken to protect the house. Their prep work to protect walls, flooring and furniture was impressive. Everything was covered with multiple layers of plastic and tarps and it made a huge difference in the end. I was also impressed with how much Mark cared about his work. I caught him and an employee in my garage arguing about a footprint (it was just chalky dust) on my dirty garage floor. Mark was upset about the footprint and when I walked in on the argument, he assured me that he would take care of it. I obviously didn't care about the footprint, but this spoke volumes about how much he cares about his work and the customer's houses he works on. We were very pleased with the results of the ceilings as they look beautiful compared to the 30 year old popcorn ceilings had to look at before. We plan to hire Michaels to finish the rest of our house when we can fit it in our budget. I honestly can't recommend Michaels enough. Very pleased customer here.

Very responsive. Received a guaranteed quote via email and stuck to that despite some additional labor. Very efficient and finished the project on time if not ahead of schedule. Minimal mess, definitely not the horror stories I've heard. I recommend them!

I contacted Michael's Painting LLC and they were great! Responded quickly, gave me an accurate quote via email and completed the job on time. The end result was fabulous - our ceilings looks great! Plus there was very little mess, which was great because I have heard horror stories from others. Would recommend them anytime.

We had just closed on our new house and had two weeks before we needed to officially move in, which is a perfect time to get ceilings done because the house is empty. Michael's called me back the same day to say they had a cancellation and could fit us in starting tomorrow. Michael met me that evening to get a quote and just as he said, started the next day. The whole process took about 2.5 days. They arrived early in the morning and left each night around 5. Each evening, the areas were tidy and cleaned up (as much as you can when scraping). They finished on schedule and left the house and floors super clean! I was imagining a layer of dust, but no. Such a great job! We were so lucky to have hired them. I have referred them to many others. And most importantly, the ceilings look fantastic! What a difference it makes.

This is the third time we have used Michaels Painting. We are in phase 3 of our home remodel. In each phase we have had Michaels scrape off the old popcorn ceilings and replaced with knock-down. They have also done wall repair for us after wallpaper stripping from another contractor had been left in rough shape as well as repaired some settling cracks. Mark and Sam are a father and son team like no other. They return calls and give estimates promptly, they show up on time every day, keep immaculate work spaces and work quietly all day long, 6 days a week. By far the very best contractors for paint, repair and ceilings!
