We were offered a deal too good to pass up on a new tub, as an appology for the problems with the last salesman who had since been fired. (Dean was his name.) Got a new tub, which came on time, was setup promptly. Valves were too stiff to turn, I called, they said to just turn them, They felt like they'd break, so I went into the store, and was told again to just turn them. So I went home, and I did, and it broke. So after that, the third time I asked for a tech to come look at it, they sent him out. He tried turning one, and he broke another valve. They charged us for BOTH. I had to request multiple times for those charges to be removed, since it was probably a warranty repair, and I didn't break the second one. Now for the topping. The tub felt cooler when we got it, I mentioned it but was told something about differents tubs feel different. finally, nearing the end of our warranty, I checked with a digital thermometer, and it was 100 degrees, while the display said that it was 104, big difference in a hot tub. Went to the store, and talked to the owner. He broght the tech in, and they said that he would be out in the next two weeks to look at it. Its been over a month, and the warranty is over in a couple days. (pretty convenient) I called the factory, who is sending me the parts and gave me instructions on how to do the repairs myself. The factory was very appologetic, and concerned.
Description of Work: Two hot tubs purchased, both were a big flop. First one was delivered late, Setup which was included was a month or two late. It took many calls and trips to the store to get the setup and initial chemicals that come with it. We were given a discount to hire the salesman's friend to do the electrical work, we payed for everything at once, including the electrician to return in the spring to burry the cable with the ground thaws. The electrician told me he remembered the house, and that we also payed for the cable trenching in the spring. He just plain refused to come back and finish. I was going to sue him for the expense to finish the job, but when I went to the hot tub store, his buddy at midnight sun refused to help. I realised that the cost of going to court was probably more that just hiring a new person. I was the stupid one there.

Poor service after the sale. Was told they would be here to complete project - waited almost 2 months. The day they finally scheduled us, they didn't show - had an emergency that needed their attention. We rescheduled for the following day, they were over an hour late for appt. Tried to get them to take sauna back and give us our money, but owner would not do it. Rude and disrespectful. Would not recommend doing business here!

[member name removed], We wish your experience was better. Our experience in working with your husband was very different than what you described in your comments. Our manager tried very hard to accomodate your husband, even going to your home with the installation crew. Your lights were backordered and we tried to explain that. When they came in, we installed them as quick as possible. I choose not to go back and forth about what happened with timing, and specifically about who was rude and demanding first. We could compare notes if you wish, but no one wins in the end. We always give a "window" of when we will be at someones home, and we call ahead as well. As always, we the owners, are in the office daily and over-see our operation. We love Bemidji and being a part of the community.
