Tysdal Construction

I engaged Tysdal Construction as the General Contractor on a Commercial Office Building and would do so over and over again. He helped carry the project from design (very interactive program that allowed you to see what the finished product would look like before even breaking ground), to a very complex permitting process involving Government Regulation, to keeping us on time even and on budget. They were awesome at communicating everything during the construction phase to keep us informed. I would contract with Jerame and his crew again if i had the need.

Tysdal Construction has been very responsive since day one. They helped us through the variance process since we lived on a lake and had a unique situation to work through with new construction along with the design/ building process. The design process they use allows for customization and wide selection of products to be used based on the budget for your project. The employees and subcontractors were friendly and great to work with as we checked-in throughout the project. I personally liked how they were well connected with local businesses to assist us in the selection of building materials for our new home. The one item that I can't stress enough is the level of detail they put into their homes as they strive for perfection in their work. After our project was done I had company over to enjoy a summer weekend and I received compliments on how well the finishing work was completed from the trim, cabinets, drywall, lighting and beyond. Those compliments came from one person who has built 4 new homes in their lifetime and another was a contractor by trade. That says a lot on the quality of work that they deliver on.

Over the past few years we have engaged Tysdal Construction on a number of projects. We have always found them to operate with the highest level of integrity, making sure the projects were completed in a quality fashion, within the time frame and budget agreed to. The largest project we engaged them to do was the design and construction of our year-round lake cabin. The design process used by Jerame included frequent engagement on our part, resulting in the end product is meeting all of our needs perfectly. As important, this project was completed in a quality fashion, in the agreed upon time frame and with-in budget.

Tysdal did a great job. Very professional, kind, and timely. They went over the top to get the work done. All employees were professional, courteous and kind. Thank you Tysdal Construction for doing a great job. Some of the work they did required some real configuring and ingenuity because of the way one of the walls was situated. It turned out beautiful!!!

Jerame Tysdal and Tysdal Construction, Inc. received a sizeable down payment to construct our home in a 9 month timeframe. The home was still not complete after 12 months and he disregarded the budget that we communicated to him. He blamed us when it was his responsibility as a general contractor to manage the project, communicate with and guide us in timing of selecting materials, and to obtain estimates to complete construction within the timeframe agreed upon and within our budget. He still has not delivered materials we've paid for and has not provided for repairs that are covered under warranty.

Jerame came promptly with his foreman for an estimate. The estimate was fair. He also offered to draw up the project with specifications to ensure we had everything as we'd like with no miscommunications. The program he used was excellent and he included room dimensions, windows, flooring and anticipated stone design for a full visual. This was a great and really appreciated! The crew were very polite, cleaned up every bit of their mess and didn't waste time as others have done in the past. There was a slight hiccup when an electrical wire got cut inadvertently but there was absolutely no problem in getting it fixed and Jerame took care of the extra cost without any dispute (which in our experience, is rare!). Working with Tysdahl Construction was refreshing and we will be calling him for other jobs in the future. Only wish we had met him before we built the house!

Everything was fine and they did what I asked them to do. They are very detailed, did a good job, and they came out right away. They were cheaper than other estimates I received and I felt their prices were reasonable. He did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. We are even considering using them to help us build our house.

I got estimates last fall, and although his estimate was similiar to the others, I liked him coming right away to look and give me an estimate. I finally decided to hire him and called him to come, but it was too late in the fall for him to come at that time. He said he would call in the spring when it was warmer. He did, and came back out to see what I wanted to be done and give me the estimate. He brought a sample of the leaf shield and he explained why his company choose that style. He returned in a few days, made the gutters on site, had to make a piece to fit over the edge of the deck. We had a PVC opening to drain the water from the gutter under the concrete by the garage. He had to find a PVC reducer, which he bought at the local lumber yard, showed me the invoice and only charged me what the invoice said. When he was done he took me around and showed me what he had done and asked if there was anything I didnt like. I said no and was very impressed with the quality of his work. Two days later it rained and there were no leaks what so ever. My husband and I are both very pleased! We are planning on building on to our home and I plan on getting a bid from him to build the addition.
