Scott is always pleasant to deal with. He came out the same week to place the cap on our chimney.

Scott was very punctual, respectful and had a very professional attitude. However, the quality of the work was very bad. The first time he left us with a wobbly wall when he replaced our drywall, not at all flat and smooth. We had to call him back. The second time the wall was better but it's still far from flat and smooth. I had a similar job done in the basement by someone else and the wall in the basement looks perfect, whereas the wall that Scott replaced is full of dents. But as bad as that was, the painting job was probably the worst. In an effort to do everything as fast as possible, he insisted that the living room only needed one coat. As a result, the underlying original paint could be seen in many many areas. We called him back, and he touched up some of it but still missed a whole bunch of spots. Then to top it off he stained the ceiling with paint, stained the newly painted walls with dirt of some sort (left a dark mark on a light wall), dropped paint on the carpet and dropped paint on our furniture. And after all of that we've had to hire someone else to repaint the living room because the original paint still shows through. It's a shame because he's a really nice guy and very pleasant to deal with. But the job was just terrible.

I called this company for a bid, and they said that they would provide one but never got back to me, causing me to waste time waiting on them.

Overall, the house looks great. Fox Construction provided several examples of their work which we visited. This really helped in determining color schemes and siding design. Peter Fox was attentive to our questions and concerns along the way. This was a big job and we took our time. The roof was done in late fall, then we waited until spring to begin windows and siding. There was no pressure to hurry the project. Invariably, some minor issues were encountered and were promptly addressed by Peter.

They are a great company and they operate with integrity. They do what they say they will do and do it on time. They treat me very respectfully and very prompt. The work they perform is a step up and better quality.

After the hail storm blew through, the neighborhood was flooded with construction companies looking for work. Most were very 'sales-y' but Peter Fox was the exception. Very honest and informative, covered all our options and low pressure. Gave us a list with dozens and dozens of reference homes. We checked Fox on the BBB and went to see examples of their work. We talked with two home owners and they were very pleased with the quality. Peter was here when the insurance adjuster arrived and helped make sure that everything was looked at and fairly assessed. Based on their references, we selected them for the repairs. Now that the home is completed, we couldn't be happier. The work was completed on time, very professional, excellent quality and Fox handled all the insurance work. The roofing installation is very good (used Timberline architectural shake look in Burnt Sienna) and we love the color match to the siding.

Excellent work. We are very happy with the job. The gutters are awesome, very large and of great quality. Pleased that they matched the downspouts with the color of the siding. The men cleaned up the area and took care with the plants around the house. Highly recommend this company.

This has been a very positive experience from the first contact call through to the finished job. Peter Fox has been easy to reach by phone for any questions. He has done all the work with the insurance company and has not charged us anything above what insurance has paid. Very reliable and highest quality. The roofing crew was polite, hardworking and efficient. Perfect clean-up. They took care to protect my landscaping and furniture. Peter was here ensuring the job was done to our satisfaction both days. Very highly recommend them. We will also be using them to replace siding and gutters within the next few weeks.
