Electrician arrived 45 minutes late. We were quoted their hourly rate for labor plus cable cost, and then were double-charged that hourly rate for the one hour they were here because an apprentice helped out. We weren't informed over the phone that the hourly would be doubled if two people showed up. They left the old electrical cables laying on our lawn and did not clean up after themselves. Also, they cut the cable to our workshop without telling us why. Did not write a service report and said it would be mailed by office staff. They could not guarantee that the problem was fixed, and if we still have electrical outage problems, they undoubtedly would charge us again for another service call. We won't be calling them back.

They aren t the cheapest, but they are very reliable. There was one time they were scheduled to come out and they called ahead of time to let us know somebody different would be coming and they would be about an hour later.

I contacted this company to do some electrical work on August 7th, and the girl said that she would get back to me either later that day or the next. It has been over a week and I never heard back from her. I will look for another company to handle my electrical job.

We had 2 contractors who came out, Bruce and Robert. Both were very conscientious about keeping things clean. They left things as nice as when they arrived. They were always on time for when they said they would arrive for the day. They offered creative suggestions when needed based on reworking some wiring for an old house. They were very reliable and we would use them again.

Very responsive and prompt. Decided to go with another bidder. Thanks.

It was a very positive experience. When I originally called it was after hours so I left a message. The scheduler returned my call first thing next morning. She was very pleasant and accommodating. She didn't know the answers to a couple of questions and she called me back very quickly with the answers. Kevin showed up for the appointment right on time. He went to work immediately, was efficient, and cleaned up his areas when finished. He happily accommodated my special requests for installation. He also was quite helpful answering questions for me about other electrical issues. The happy ending is that the bill came and it was right on the estimate. I will definitely use Kendrick the next time I need an electrician.

When I called them to quote the additional of an 8-circuit sub panel in my garage next to the existing main CB panel, they said they would not send someone out to look out it, but rather gave me their hourly rates and a wag as to how long it would take.

I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. The estimator arrived as scheduled and e-mailed a quote for the work. The quote was very general in nature. I had to inquire as to what type of switches were going to be installed to operate the fans. They didn't carry the type I wanted, so I bought them myself at Home Depot. I then scheduled the work to be done which was about 2 weeks from the date of receiving the quote. Two workers arrived and went to work. Circuits to the laundry room as well as the two fan boxes were quickly finished. A snag developed in running the new circuit to the bathroom. The main trunk of the HVAC system was in they way, so they couldn't drill up from below. The easiest solution was to remove the base trim from the hallway and drill down. The worker said he was afraid of damaging the trim, so I did it myself! Finally, since the bathroom outlet was a GFCI with other outlets on the load side, they replaced the down line outlets with GFCI's.

I didn't choose Kendrick for this job because their first-hour rate was $24 higher than the competition, which also offered $10 off to Angie's List members. Looking back, that was false economy. Kendrick was willing to come to my condo to evaluate the options and give me an estimate for free. The company I hired only gave me a phone estimate. When the worker arrived, it took 40 min. to figure out what was doable--time I had to pay for. My advice for hiring any type of contractor: find out exactly what "free estimate" means. Too often, it's either a rough phone estimate, or "free" only if you immediately hire that company. Based on what Kendrick told me, they offer a truly free estimate. If there's a next time, I'll be calling them.

The phone receptionists are always very pleasant; my story of needing the family room lights repaired that day due to a party the next day was met with sympathy and understanding. Kevin completed the work both times we called Kendrick; he was on time; very pleasant, and got the work done quickly. They will be our standard electric company from now on.

I called to get an estimate, they were out the next day and sent the estimate within a week as promised. We scheduled the work and arrived promptly. When running the cable wiring they were not able to run the wires through the ceiling like they had thought, instead has to run it outside and then through the side of the basement. I was concerned about having wires running along the side of the house, but they did a great job minimizing the amount of wire you can see. They were able to run most of the wiring along the landscaping, and did a great job insulating the hole in the wall. It took a lot longer than what they estimated it would take, but did not charge more than the estimate. Very professional company.

We were very happy with the work performed. We had waited over twenty years to add a pool table light above our pool table. We would have done it much sooner if we knew that it would be so economical.

Work done in timely manner, and worked with out schedule for other remodeling work. Professional, quick, and responsive to follow-up.

They were great. On time, and worked quickly.

Overall, they did very well and were very accommodating and efficient. They were very polite.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE-ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL. I THOUGHT AN OUTDOOR LIGHT WASN'T WORKING AS I HAD REPLACED THE LIGHTBULB AFTER IT BURNED OUT. HE SHOWED ME THAT THE NEW LIGHT WAS BAD (UGH). WHEN I RECEIVED THE BILL, I FOUND THAT THEY HAD CHARGED ME FOR TROUBLESHOOTING THAT LIGHT. I CALLED TO INQUIRE AND THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT AND WROTE IT OFF IMMEDIATELY. RATE WAS REASONABLE FOR AMOUNT OF WORK PERFORMED AND WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY OR THE TECHNICIAN (JIM). EVERYTHING WENT BETTER THAN I EXPECTED FROM START TO FINISH. JIM PERFORMED THE ESTIMATE AND HAD SEVERAL GOOD SUGGESTIONS FOR LIGHT AND OUTLET PLACEMENT. HE WAS PUNCTUAL, EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. THE BID PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE AND REASONABLE. WE SCHEDULED FOR A FEW DAYS LATER AT 8:00 AM. JIM CALLED AT 7:10 AND ASKED IF IT WAS ALRIGHT TO ARRIVE EARLIER, WHICH IT ABSOLUTELY WAS. HE RECONFIRMED THE PLACEMENT OF THE OUTSIDE BOX AND IT WAS EVIDENT THAT HE REMEMBERED OUR PRIOR CONVERSATIONS. ONCE THE WORK WAS COMPLETED I DID NOT CARE FOR HOW TWO OF THE CEILING LIGHTS WERE PLACED. HE SAID HE WOULD CHANGE IT ANY WAY THAT I WANTED. SO I HAD HIM CHANGE THE TWO LIGHTS. HE REMAINED PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY AT ALL TIMES. I APPRECIATED THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE BOTH FROM JIM AND THE WOMAN AT THE OFFICE. I RECEIVED EXCELLENT WORK, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE.

THEY MANAGED EVERYTHING WELL, PERSONAL SERVICE WITH QUALITY AND EFFICIENT RESULTS.

THE GUY WAS VERY NICE, HE TALKED ON MY LEVEL AND ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS. THEY CAME OUT AS SOON AS THEY COULD AND TOOK CARE OF THE REPAIRS. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.
