Kendrick Electric

We had just finished remodeling our bathroom. We had a problem with the existing lights because we installed medicine cabinets and they blocked the light to the room. We were anxious to get the lights fixed so we called Kendrick Electric right away. They were able to get our electrician to our house the next day, of which we were grateful. We wanted to get the project completed as soon as possible. He recommended we install recessed lighting which worked out very well. We continue to be very happy with the service provided to us by Kendrick Electric and will not hesitate to call them again if we need to have electrical work completed.

I read all the reviews on Angie's list and they were all so positive I had to go with Kendrick and they were great! He was at my house for 2 hours fixing things that had been found on a previous CurrentSafe inspection (not done by Kendrick) and charged a very fair price. The electrican worked quickly, and cleanly. I recommended them to my mom as well and she also had a great experience.

This was the second time I've used this company in recent months. Mike was here at 8:00 on the dot. He immediately fixed the outdoor outlet, which took him only a couple minutes. He then asked if I needed anything else done. I told him about the light switch so he checked it and found there was no power going to it. He checked the breakers and none of them were flipped. Since I don't even know what those switches are supposed to operate, I chose to not pursue this further. Kendrick electric is a dependable company with knowledgeable, personable employees. I will use them again.

Our air conditioner was not cooling our house. I called an A/C repair company, and he determined that the breaker was tripped, so the A/C unit wasn't getting any power. The breaker wouldn't reset, so he told me I needed an electrician. I called Kendrick at 10:30, and they were able to get someone to my house by 2 pm, which I thought was pretty quick. I was a little worried because our breaker box is from 1967, and I didn't know if they still made parts for it. Joe told me that the breaker needed to be replaced, and that he could have the part brought over from the shop. They don't make these particular breakers anymore, but Kendrick had a used one that would work. Once that was replaced, we waited for the A/C to kick in, but it didn't. So Joe went down the the basement, figured out that a tiny car-type fuse was blown in the furnace, and then drove to the auto supply store to get one. As soon as that was installed, the A/C started working again. Joe was knowledgable, careful not to make a mess, and was very good-natured about my dog barking at him. He told me the name and type of breaker, in case I wanted to track some down online. He answered all my questions, and even gave a ball park quote for replacing the breaker box. I thought the price was fair for the amount of time spent.

They did an excellent job. They were friendly and professional. As was the person who I spoke with on thephone to schedule the appointment. They listened to what I wanted and made suggestions when I was unsure. I thought they were reasonably priced. I am very happy with the work they did. It looks great. I would definitely hire them again.

We were installing new windows and had to reroute an existing electrical wire before the new window could be installed. We called Kendrick (after reviewing nearby electricians on Angie's List) and they had someone out here in a few hours. Randy rerouted the wire. We also mentioned that the wall switches for the foyer and upper hallway were bizarre... a product of building Parade Model homes quickly back in the 80's. There was no way to turn on the upstairs hall light from downstairs. We questioned several electricians over the years and always received replies that there wasn't anything that could be done about it. We mentioned it to Randy, and he said and quot;Let's take a look.and quot;. Wihin ten minutes, he had the switches rewired, and things worked as they should have 26 years ago. Kudos to Kendrick, and especially Randy. There is only one solution for our future electrical work needs: Kendrick.

My house was built in 1960. I have 100 amp services on the old style fuse box; I pulled out a 1970's wall unit oven thinking it would be no big deal to replace it with a regular stove top and oven unit. Well it turns out the wall unit only required 30 amps service and the new ovens take 40 to 50 amps. So now, I needed to replace the electrical wiring in addition to the oven. Disappointed, I went home and changed out a few ugly but working outlets. I got to the last one when but it kept on blowing the fuses. I eventually aborted my weekend DYI worrier project and fretted about the cost for a few months. In the mean time, I had no power to two outlets in my kitchen and a couple in my dining room because they all ran on the same circuit. I finally decided enough was enough and it was time to call in a professional. I turned to Angie's List since I never needed an Electrician before and thought I would use the review to help me make a decision on whom to pick. I almost went with one vendor because they offered what seemed like a great coupon deal but after reading some of the review that were written I decided not to risk it. I choice Kendrick Electric because of their close proximity to my house, their ability to take a verity of payment methods, and the outstanding reviews written by Angie's Members. I could not have been happier. The Electrician was on time; He was very polite and didn't make me feel like a complete idiot for pulling the weekend DYI routine. Kendrick Electric checked my outlets, corrected my error, replaced the outlet that I gave up on and was able to get my electricity flowing in all my other outlets; for $110 after my 5% coupon discount. While the electrician was still working on my DYI mishap the estimator call back within a few minutes to provided me with the estimate to upgrade my circuit box from old style fuses to circuit breaker type, put in a 40 amp service line for the range, and pull the necessary permits. The estimate of $850.00 came in at under my worst fears and best yet I was still able to use my 5% coupon.

We were very happy to have Kendrick Electric do the electrical repairs at our home. We did not have to wait long for an appointment. He was punctual and very professional. We have used Kendrick before and will not hesitate to call them again in the future.

They were courteous, prompt, efficient, and reasonable. What more could you ask for? I will be calling Kendrick Electric now whenever we need an electrician. I should add that I was able to handle the whole transaction over the phone and they took care of us right away, just before a holiday weekend, when the others I called offered appointments next week

The breaker switch had not been pushed back far enough. The electrician was very kind and did not make me feel foolish for not understanding how to engage the switch. This was the third time we have relied on Kendrick Electric; the first two to do specific jobs. They were very professional and responsive and I would certainly recommend them.

They did a great job they were there on time actually did more then I expected. They got everything ready for the electical inspection. After we passed the inspection they returned and completed the job, including putting the light bulbs in all of the fixtures. When they were working on the circut breakers they noticed that some of the original circut breakers were not correct for the wire used. They provided an estimate on the cost to fix that and we had them fix that too. Overall just a great job at a very good price. We had one bid for the job that was more the 1000.00 higher.

After having a plumber install a new gas dryer, we found that the electrical outlet for the dryer was not working. This was a Friday afternoon and I really wanted to get it fixed right away. After looking at Angie's list, I called Kendrick Electric. The company checked with one of its employees and called back to say he could come out that afternoon. When he arrived, he plugged in the dryer and it appeared to work at first. He said, and quot;I won't even charge you for this.and quot; After a couple minutes, it became apparent that the outlet was unreliable. He opened the outlet and found it full of dead hornets! He replaced the outlet with a GFI, which was code in that situation. He had my dryer safely working, as promised. This was my first time using this company. However, it will not be my last. Their responsiveness and the pleasant, professional electrician were both first rate.

They are fabulous. They ordered us a transformer and came to instal it. He found another issue with the fixture and they had to stay for a couple more hours but they still stuck to the original bid, which was impressive.

Arrived as promised. Quality work. The same excellent sdervice I always receive from Kendrick.

The electrician arrived and we talked about what I wanted done and he dove right in and got the job done. He cleaned up and everything went perfectly.

It was good. They did a fine job. I don't remember what I paid. I will absolutely use his services again in the future.

While drilling a hole in a wall, I damaged an electrical wire which shorted out one of the circuits. The damage actually impacted several rooms in the house, so, I was not looking forward to several days of waiting for it to be repaired. It happened on a Sunday afternoon, so, I called Kendrick Electric on Monday morning and they were able to get someone there within an hour. He fixed the problem with minimum damage to the wall and also repaired a connected outside electrical outlet that had come loose. The total job took about 90 minutes.

Prompt and professional, but friendly. Efficient and knowledgeable. Neat. I would certainly have them come.

Kendrick Electric performed three repairs/installations about three weeks apart. They showed up on time, performed the work efficiently and left no mess. They were courteious and were careful about not disturbing things not pertaining to their work. Two jobs well done--I would reccommend them highly.

They were excellent. Their timeliness was great. I really liked the professionalism of the man that they sent to do the work. I would certainly hire them again.

I had a great experience with Kendrick Electirc. Tom identified a very simple problem that corrected many of the issues. Two inspectors and another electrician missed the simple solution. Tom was great and cleaned up the electircal issues in an efficient manner. He had a number of suggestions that ended up saving me time and money. I would highly recommend Kendrick Electric.

They did very well and they were very professional. They were here when they said that they would be and the price was one of the lower bids we received. The job took about a week and a half. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent service and completed the work in record time. Price was as quoted and addition of cable cords was a plus and he did the work on a very timely basis.
