Called them to set up an appointment for work/estimate and never heard from them.

Levi Hoyt was at my home to inspect the damage the day after the June 11 storm and he was most friendly and professional. He was also very helpful in working with my insurance company as well as with helping me select a color for my new roof. The roof was replaced in just one day on July 17. His staff was punctual and did a wonderful job. The cost was very reasonable, too. I am extremely happy with my new roof and would definitely work with Hoyt Exteriors again in the future!

Quite pleased. Not only did Hoyt Exteriors do a good job replacing the entire roof on our house, they found corners cut by the previous roofer with the drip edge, seals, and other subtle things that the typical home owner would not know to look for. They didn't rush through the job like some companies do, they took the time to do quality work.

After receiving poor customer service from our initial adjuster and accompanying construction company (who never called us back), our next door neighbor referred us to Levi Hoyt and Hoyt Exteriors. I am so glad I called. First off, he fought for us upon our second adjustment on the storm damage, helping us get coverage on the repairs we needed. From there, he was our personal assistant in selecting the right products for our renovation. Levi is trustworthy, knowledgeable, and professional, as is his crew. When the construction began, they were courteous, thorough, and clearly took pride in their work—especially the siding crew. I am a graphic designer; I notice if something doesn't look level. I straighten picture frames on a continual basis. The siding was done to exact standards and the lines of our new exterior are crisp and clean. I am impressed. Even our garage, which due to foundation issues looks like a building out of a Dr Seuss book, looks straight now. They went to great pains to make the garage appear level again by compensating with the new siding! I've attached before (faded dijon mustard-colored siding from the 50s) and after (steel blue and grey with white trim and red door) to show the difference Hoyt Exteriors made on our home. The best part is that we get daily compliments on how our home looks now; an older neighbor down the street said it was a transformation for the ages...! Thanks, Levi!

In a word - GREAT! I've been extremely happy with the craftsmanship that Hoyt Exteriors has displayed on each of my projects. They worked really hard to complete each project to my satisfaction and paid attention to the details. They did an excellent job of communicating during the project about where they were at, what was next and what the options were when an issue came up. During the basement remodel/finish project, they went to great lengths to minimize the dust getting into the rest of the house. Happy wife!! At the end of each of the projects, they made sure the job site was cleaned up - this was really impressive with the roofs as there were no stray pieces of old roofing or any(!) nails left behind. I'm detail oriented and want things done right. I would - and have - recommended Hoyt Exteriors without hesitation. They are great people to work with!

It's a pretty long story, so if you don't want to read to the end just know this....Working with Levi Hoyt and every other person from Hoyt Exteriors on these extensive home repairs has turned a potential nightmare into a pleasure! We were always kept in the loop about what was going on and when. No question or concern ever too trivial to be addressed. People arrived exactly when they said they would and everyone we dealt with had a professional, positive attitude. Wish we had found them decades ago and highly recommend them without hesitation. Hoyt replaced our roof in May 2016. We were so impressed by the efficiency of their crew and especially the cleanup. Not a single bit of landscaping was damaged and we literally found only 2 nails when they were done. Initially we had another company install our windows, sashes and patio doors but had a terrible experience with one of their subs, who did sloppy work with a nasty attitude. During a heavy rainstorm in August, water began to leak from our kitchen lights and also into our basement underneath the new patio door which had not been properly installed by the Subpar Sub. We had already talked with Levi about the age of our flat roof above those lights (25yrs) so he was pretty sure what had happened. When the rotten deck above the flat roof was removed, it revealed extensive water damage that reached from the second floor all the way down to our basement. Hoyt ended up replacing almost every window and nearly all the siding on the back of our house. They also removed and reinstalled the patio doors that had not even been flashed by the Subpar Sub. Throughout the whole process, which got a little complicated, as you can imagine when people are basically replacing the back of your house, we always felt Hoyt treated us with honesty and integrity. We are now waiting for one last window to be built and delivered, so Hoyt can finish the installation of windows and siding on the front of our house. I'm almost sorry the job is coming to an end. I said "almost!"

One of the smoothest roofing jobs I could have asked for. They were very clear on pricing and what needed to be done. They found additional damage after the tear-off on both roofs which they repaired immediately (at additional cost of course). The crew was very professional and well mannered and they were very considerate toward my neighbors. I would highly recommend Hoyt Exteriors to anyone looking to have a roof done, or anything else they do :-)
