ARC Window Cleaning

Installer who arrived to do the work had to ask me to describe the work to be done. I spent much time on the phone trying to get the scope of work clearly defined. End result was fine, but it took a lot of effort on my part to make it so. Good price, but poor communications.

I was not pleased with the guys who came to the house. When they arrived we talked about the price. $150 minimum and an estimate for anything over that, and no work til I knew the price. They had been here awhile and I checked with Riley and they had not figured it out. About 15 minutes later I heard water running off the roof and they had started working. I went to check with them and Riley told me it was going to be $300. I became upset and asked why they started without telling me the price. Riley mentioned that his partner George, decided to start the job without my consent. Riley told me he did not like the way this happened, so I assumed George took control and started. I called the company. Kathryn answered and I told her what had happened. She called the guys and talked to them. When she called back she said they would just charge me the minimum of $150. I wrote a check and by the time I went outside, they had driven off. I assume I will get an invoice.

He cleaned (steamed) my gutters...and cleaned them out (they were full-- evidently I had forgotten about getting gutters cleaned before winter), and when he saw the lake in my basement... he cleared the snow off the roof for me, shoveled snow away from the house. He also made recommendations about my roof & my chimney needing repair. Very satisfied.

Cleaned my gutters and replaced snap on gutter guards. I added some work to the project after he arrived and he was willing to do it. I called in the afternoon and work was done the next morning. Extremely nice guy did the work. Very professional and pleasant. Totally recommend them.

The women who came to count windows went to the wrong house. When the guys came they were amazed because she said I had 34 windows when I have 54. Could not do some windows. Communication between the office and workers was not very accurate.

The whole experience was great...from scheduling, to the bid to the actual cleaning. They did a fantastic job (which was a big one) even during a slight rain (they moved inside and finished after the rain stopped). They were very exacting in the cleaning, double checking all windows inside and out after they were done. When cleaning a very high chandelier, Gary recommended we get new light bulbs as one was out and it isn't easy to change them. We hired 6 different companies this past 2 weeks to get our house ready for a big event and ARC was the easiest and best to work with.

Several were involved in my project. Mason did a great job power-washing the gutters & siding of our house with the assist of John, who did the deck & garage. 2 other young men did the window & screen washing. It was a big project & everyone involved did an amazing, thorough job! Communication by Antoinette was superb! I definitely would hire ARC again!
