A repair person tried to sell a replacement capacitor for $595.00. Claimed others were selling them for as much as $1100. I declined and instead purchased one from Amazon for $14.50 and replaced it myself. Also, the repair person replaced the wires on the capacitor incorrectly. Strongly advise anyone contemplating using this service should get a second quote or avoid them altogether.

This guy was rude, unprofessional, and negligent. I would absolutely recommend avoiding working with him. He also ended up being way more expensive than the other 2 quotes that I got. The worst part though is that my air conditioning still does not work after he claimed to fix it (without actually verifying that it was fixed--my security cameras show he spent 13 minutes on my property). Now, I am out over $700 and have to sleep in an 85-degree house another night until I can find someone else to fix my A/C.

The knight was so fast and very friendly. I'm happy that they fixed my AC in less than 2hr after my first call with them. The outside temp is in the 90s but our house is cool.

I highly recommend Air Knights. I submitted a request for service through Angie's List and described my problem. Within 2 hours, Paul (the owner) called me to find out more about it. Other businesses I talked to had someone from the office call me, and whenever I asked them a question they had to either put me on hold or call me back after they talked to their techs. Talking to Paul, we came to the conclusion that I was low on R-22 refrigerant. He told me the price/pound of the R-22, but could not give me an estimate on total cost because he wouldn't know how low my AC unit was until he got there. I will say that what they charge for R-22 was 40% lower (which was $400 in my case) than their competitors. Paul explained that it was because he stocked up on the refrigerant when the prices were low, which I believe was a very smart business move on his part. Paul came to my house during the scheduled window, and was able to confirm within 2 minutes that my AC unit was 7 lbs low on refrigerant. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgable. He topped off my AC in just a few minutes, and then he was on his way. He was only at my house about 10 minutes until my AC was up and running again. My AC unit is old. I value this Air Knights because they didn't try to upsell me some expensive new AC unit. I told them I just wanted to get up and running for now, and they worked with that. I will definitely use them again if I have trouble with my AC in the future.

Fast service they were on time Came the same day I called them

I thought I would need to replace my AC unit, but owner talked me into fixing it one more time so I hopefully won't pay COVID surcharges on a new AC. Came out on a Sunday to help me out, no upcharge. Quick-done in 30 minutes. Very knowledgeable, great customer service.

Paul had great communication and got the job done quickly. He also advised me on what to look out for in the future for the furnace

I wasn't sure what was wrong with my furnace, but I went with Air Knights because their service fee was so reasonable ($75). They also offered to come out that evening without any increased cost. James was the tech and he was very polite and efficient. Apparently all the furnace needed was to have a contact cleaned, and he said it was part of the service charge (!). The bad news is my furnace will need to be replaced within the next couple of years, but based on my experience with them I requested an estimate and if they are competitive will definitely choose them for the replacement.

Paul was very outgoing and explained my problem perfectly. He was honest and straightforward with his assessment of my problem. He practiced social distancing and removed his boots when he came in the house. I would recommend this company for any heating problem you might have.

Air knights did a good job preforming the work. However they were not authorized to preform the work. Having said that, Julie in the front office was a pleasure to work with and very apologetic about the situation.

Very professional team that recommended a new furnace to replace the old one and also replaced my aging AC. Pleasure to work with and got the job done in a short period of time.

He was good on communication

Furnace went out this morning and James came out this afternoon, found the problem, replaced the part and was done within 15 minutes. Friendly and honest. Have worked with Paul the owner several times as well and heâ s always been thorough and honest well. Such important qualities in a company. I will continue to use Air Knights for my heating and cooling needs.

I noticed that my furnace wasn't working at 4:30 pm on Sunday. I spoke with the owner of Air Knights by phone and by 5:30 he was at my home and had diagnosed and fixed the problem (bad igniter). He had a friendly and professional attitude, I will be using him in the future.

They charged $75.00 to do absolutely nothing. They also lied and said the equipment was cheap and not installed to code.

Super quick on getting back to me. I requested quotes from 4 vendors via online and he got back to me in a matter of minutes. One other vender got back to me late that day and the 3rd didn't get back until the next day late. I have not heard anything from the 4th vendor. Prompt and straight to the point. No bull. He came in and figured out the issue. He didn't try to sell me on anything. Just fixed the problem. I would recommend Paul to others in my area.

We needed a gas regulator replaced. The service was professional and the technician explained all that he was doing. Quality work and efficient. Also wore a mask and removed his shoes. I would recommend this group for any H/AC service.
