Paul was very fast, he came out and replaced our humidifier the same day. Service was good and he is very nice and willing to explain things and how they work, how to maintain the unit, etc. We would recommend him!

This was one of the best experience with the services of any kind! My furnace broke down on last Saturday in the middle of the deadly cold weather. Paul, the oner of the company , was the first responder to my request for a service and did so within 5 minutes. He and his team insected my furnace on the same night and got a ne furnace installed by Sunday afternoon,despite his crazy schedule. But he did not charge me any emergency fee and the price of the furnace was very reasonable according to my neighbors! What moved me is Paul' care about his customers...excellent service!

He called us right away and came out the same day to repair the furnace at our rental. I am very grateful that he came out right away. I would highly recommend him to anyone. He followed up with some tips, took time to explain things to us. He was great!

Paul is the man... The furnace went out around 8pm and after messing with it for a few hours I tossed my info into this site around 10-11pm and 5 mins later I have 3 missed calls from Paul. When I called him back around 11:30 he said he could still make it to check it out without any crazy "emergency" fee's. So he comes to NE Mpls from Shokapee and gets to me @ 1:30am in December. Once he gets here he realizes the furnace is done and by 2am he's suggesting he start to replace it, had I not needed to go to bed he would've fixed then! He's a go getter willing to help anytime, anywhere!

This evening our furnace went out - just in time for below zero temps. It was near 9 pm when I called and spoke to Paul. He took down my information and arrived within 30 minutes. He was quickly able to identify the problem and replace the part. He also took the time to explain how to avoid it happening in the future. It could have been easy for him to charge extra for a late service call or take advantage of our desperate need for heat, but Paul was honest and fair. I highly recommend and will use again for any heating or AC need.

It was Thanksgiving morning with no heat since the night before. We had called two other companies and they said it would take one to two days before they could help us. I called Five Star and they answered right away, I told them what was going on and Paul sent service person out within 30 min. He repaired the furnace quickly and we had heat!! They saved the house from freezing up and on a holiday without charging crazy fees. Very affordable and I will definitely use them again.

Paul was very quick to call after I submitted my request. He was able to come out the next morning to look at my furnace. When he determined that the furnace needed to be replaced, he presented the options clearly and was able to do the work the same day. Price seemed very reasonable; better than my last furnace install. I followed up after the install to ask about adding a humidifier. Paul was again quick to respond and answer my questions, even coming out on the weekend to do the install, which was very convenient. Overall, excellent work and very easy to work with.

Paul called me when I had decided to wait until the next day. My furnace was down and it was about 55 degrees in the house. He conviced me that he would take care of it at 9:00 PM at night. I had been told I needed a new furnace a year ago. Paul came out and said the water leaking out indicated he could not start it up safely. He and his dad replace the furnace that night. They were great and I reccommend them. Thanks ,Paul!

The thing that really stood out is they were the only company that would come after hours, on a Sunday, in 90 degree weather so I am sure they were busy. They answered, followed up, got the job done, and my Tenants are happy. As for the price, I am sure it was fair considering it was an after hours emergency, unfortunately I do not have anything to compare it up against to really know. The customer service was great - he spent additional time (at 10:30pm following the repair) explaining the repair, his warranty for Freon services, and what can be done to prevent issues in the future.

My wife and kids were home while I was at work and 5 star showed up 2 or 3 hours after call; so that was nice. I talked to him and was told what the problem was and the cost, $450. Did not like the cost. Gave a history of the A/C then was given a long talk about how bad the company was that I hired before. The A/C started working again, and charged $75. He left me feeling confused. Was it a temporary fix, was he going to come back and ask for more money because he was giving us time to pay. I asked him to write down what was wrong and the cost; I got an estimate for a new A/C. My A/C is 2yo.
