Amazing company! They came out same day for no extra charge in the early evening. Found out we needed a whole new furnace and other work done, so they had to shut off out heat until it could be fixed. Due to it being the start of winter they were busy for the next week already so they offered to go to their next job and come back to install a new system overnight! They came back around 10pm and finished at 4am, at no extra charge for overnight either! Paul and the guy he was training were wonderful. Explained everything so we understood what was being done, gave us options for us to decide, were very polite and courteous while working in our home. After everything was completed Paul took the time to explain what was completed, our warranty, a rebate from CenterPoint and other tips for us. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will for sure call them in the future if we ever need to. If you want guys who are hard working, work done right, not a half ass job just to get it done and will give you a fair honest price, call Five Star today, they really do deserve the 5 stars!!!

Expiditious, got job done in less than 1 hour

They responded immediately over the phone after connecting with Home Advisors on the web and were on-site within about an hour. The only charge was the $75 trip charge and the AC was back on. This was on a Sunday and no extra charge for weekend service. I was impressed!

informative, quick and courteous

The 5 Star tech (Paul) told me I needed a part which cost me 650.00. Since I know nothing about furnaces I believed him although I thought the price was high. He wrote on my invoice that the furnace was in good working order and later that day the gas company NSP came out and told me that my gas had been shut off by NSP and there was NO WAY 5 Star Heating could even test if my furnace was in good working order. The NSP tech looked at the piece Paul had supposedly changed and said it did not look new but weather worn and old. I have been cheated of $725 from 5 Star Heating Shakopee

SUPER fast response time in initially contacting me and getting out to our location to look at the window unit. Our expectation was needing to replace the window unit, so we were thrilled when a simple cleaning was all it needed! He could have tried to sell us all kinds of additional service but he was very professional and told us only what we needed. I really appreciated that kind of service!

we have 2 air conditioners because of a remodel. after they came out an fixed the old one had to have someone look at the new one because it quit working. turned out it was just shut off. would have liked it if the guy would have made sure they were both working and turned back on when he left.
